This place is reliably great. I've tried several menu items there and have never been disappointed!! One of my faves is the fried cauliflower bites appetizer. The sauce is addicting. The burger is great, I like to ask for extra sauce. The steak is on fire! It's definitely enough for two and then some. They cooked ours perfectly and it was well seasoned. Don't sleep on the mac n cheese! It's creamy and delicious and I have a high threshold for "good Mac n cheese". If you have room for dessert, get the bread pudding, they usually mix up the flavors and it's always good! Their cocktails are unique and tasty too. The old fashioned and veni vidi vici are good. It's small, so you may be waiting a while for a table, but you can grab a drink and chill at the bar while you wait, and when you get to the table, it's worth it! The service is always good. Yesterday we went at Sweetwater for dinner, we both felt like eating steak so we ordered the Big Ass Steak with the Mac and cheese, I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. First of all, we were greeted with a champagne toast. That was completely unexpected. The atmosphere is very lovely, it feels like a whiskey bar in a European country. Our server was very attentive and cognizant that we had a happy hour option. We ordered espresso martinis, which were very strong and very tasty. Great little gem in Boynton for fun cocktails and eats. Prices may seem a little high but you are paying for the art they put into the food and drinks along with the ambiance. I love coming here for a late night drink. There's parking in the garage for free. This place is small and they do not take reservations but we went on a Friday around 6pm and had no issue getting a table for 4. The empanadas were delicious and one of my fave dishes. The bean salad that it comes with is unlike anything I've had before and seasoned perfectly. I also love the charcuterie board with a glass of wine. They have a nice selection of craft cocktails to choose from along with beer and wine. I've never been for power hour but hope to check it out sometime soon. read more

It was nice, except for the hard corn kernels. We both ordered the Korean BBQ Tacos. Both orders were overly salted. I asked to exchange my order. They accommodated, but it took awhile to get the replacement. When it came to takeout boxes, we both needed them. But, for some reason she brought her a bag, but not me. That's ok. Several employees working behind the bar and nothing was said to the patrons. The dog was in their lap and on top of the bar. Not one employee told them to put the dog on the floor. We were on the other side of the state for an overnight visit and looking for a good place to relax and have dinner after the long drive. This little gastrointestinal was just perfect. We shared a very nice bottle of champagne he had a burger which he was unimpressed by. I had a wonderful grouper dish on a bed of deliciously prepared veggies. Finished of with a brownie a la mode and that description just doesn't do it justice. Our water glasses were never empty and the Champagne was set in a wine holder with ice as it should be. The place was a little noisy for our liking but that just means people were having a good time. We will go back when we're in Boynton again. read more

Dropped in after a long day running errands. I ordered a Vine, Vidi, Vici and my homegirls ordered Whisky ultimatums. We all loved our drinks!! I could definitely order the Vine, Vidi, Vici again. Even the staff agreed that the mac n cheese looked drier than usual. We added sauce from the curry dish and it made the Mac n cheese palatable. Although the chicken was a bit dry, the flat bread was good. The pesto and the balsamic gave the flatbread great flavor. I needed the extra protein from my earlier workout and added the chicken to my dish. I might be willing to try the flatbread without the chicken next time I'm in town. Watching bartenders make drinks is a secret love affair of mine so we spent our time at the bar and enjoyed learning about so many drinks. The bar staff was on point, attentive and fast. When I visit a restaurant or a bar, the first thing I look for is the right balance or match between what I eat and drink and what I see. This restaurant is actually a little hard to find as it is hidden in the back of a shopping center next to One Boynton apartments. I really love the speakeasy vibe of this restaurant. It definitely is a very cool spot for a date or to bring friends for an awesome drink. This restaurant takes their drinks very seriously so if you're into whiskey/bourbon this is your spot! Also, if you check them out for happy hour you'll have some great deals The menu rotates often but no matter what you try it is all really really good. My favorite dish is the pulled mozzarella appetizer. This appetizers is made Super fresh with a side of roasted garlic olive tapenade tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic. All of this is intended to be put on a lovely toast point (pro tip as for extra toast you'll need it). The roasted garlic literally spreads like butter it is fantastic. If you are someone who likes brussels sprouts at a restaurant the Brussels are well seasoned with plenty of bacon found through out. Another small plate we have tried are the loaded pierogies. They're like fluffy little pillows of greatness that I would highly recommend if you're looking for a salty basic and yet elevated flavored appetizer. In terms of larger courses we have had just about everything on the menu. Seriously you cannot go wrong at this place. The Korean tacos never disappoint. I really enjoyed the meatballs and polenta ...the meatballs were beefy and very soft . I thought that the polenta was super smooth and creamy. I wouldn't really call this a burger joint but if you're looking for a well done classic cheeseburger their burger is actually a sleeper on the menu. The jambalaya is hearty with a nice spice on the back end. The shrimp mofongo had lovely Caribbean flavors, colorful peppers and the shrimp was well cooked. The most important thing is to get dessert. Obviously you should be pretty full by now if you ordered everything I recommended which is basically the entire menu but you cannot leave without getting the salted caramel brownie with the pretzel crust. This is THE best cocktail bar in south Florida. Every single drink is a stand out and their food is incredible too. Went with friends and sat at the bar, ordered several different drinks and small plates/appetizers. The Cauliflower Hushpuppies, Poke Tacos and Hand-pulled Mozzarella were all amazing and I would definitely order them again. As for cocktails, the Whiskey Ultimatum and Pachuco were delicious. We also tried a couple drinks from the seasonal menu that were equally great, if not even better! It's worth mentioning that the bartenders are incredible and it's actually really fun to sit at the bar and watch them work - all are super knowledgeable and make great recommendations as well.
