March 29th, 2026 a herd of humans gathered to feast. A Sunday, the after church crowd was present in their finery. Other families were in for a Sunday supper. Our crowd gathered from Albuquerque, Northeast Arizona, Deer Valley, Central Phoenix and? Remembering our deceased. I sat next to a lovely woman in her 70's, and two seats away from a six year old. My modest beginnings of spiced beans, cornbread and select salad parts was ultimately supplemented and completed by wings, mashed potators and greens from my left, and a hot dog with one bite gone and a giant helping of mac and cheese. The six year old ran off with my frozen yogurt cone. Such is life. Our service was excellent, a young woman successfuly dealing with her crowded section of The Corral. Our last time here was pre-Covid. Prices are higher, crowds are crowder, the busy food steam and other trays emptird and filled from the busy kitchen. Will we return? I am sure we will.

The mashed potatoes were soft, not chunky, my side of corn was very buttery and NOT served in a bowl of corn water, and my cranberries were from a can (THE BEST KIND, and yes I WILL FIGHT YOU on this). We all ordered pie for dessert and I should have went with everyone else and gotten Key Lime, but I chose cherry. When I addressed the concern I was just told menu prices changed. I did mention online is what I ordered based off of and showed the price and mentioned some people may come in and not be able to afford the difference and planned ahead to eat here. I felt they should have honored the price online. But they didn't. Overall the burger was good and so was the peaches but I wouldn't go back because i felt I didn't know what to expect to pay and I had a budget to stay within. Ambience inside was cool. They are doing nothing to help with the morale of the men and women in uniform here. The civilian server said she didn't know since she was off before dinner which is so-so itself but the USAF Sergeant next to her didn't say a word. How about "Sir I'll ask?" What kind of Sergeant does this? We went back at dinner and saw some of the same food served earlier and left but decided we'd try since they'd probably have something special the next day. Sunday- Dinner is 1600-1800 and we got there at 1700. Some of the serving bins were already empty or near empty. I asked for cubed potatoes and they had two (2) pieces left and there was no offer to get more. It was like a buffet where they are trying to save every scrap of food. Two people had to be asked before they knew what kind of fish they were serving. There was nothing special and the beef had double the salt in it that is needed. If you can eat elsewhere do it!
