I had a terrible time here. My son begged me to come as he wanted to sell his hoodies. They were both in good condition one brand new, the other one a little used. I dropped him off at the mall and let him do his business but this may have been the worse decision ever. Just 10 minutes later he would come back to my car crying of how sad he was. He told me that his once he walked into the store he was treated unfairly and with no seriousness. He took out both hoodies one brand new still in the original bag and the other out. He was told they wanted to inspect and both hoodies were put on the counter. Immediately one of the guys inspecting it rips open the bag and ruins the packaging. My son told me this was a loss of value for his hoodie by at least $50 or maybe even $100. He was then lowballed as we had paid almost $500 for both hoodies and were offered $60!!! It is fine if he had just said no in the first place to buying his hoodies but ruining the bag and being disrespectful to him is unacceptable. This will not be taken lightly to me and I hope to hear back from someone. read more

What I really like was they helped me sell another shoe and although it was less than what I got it for I'm really appreciative the fact that how quickly they got it sold. It literally got sold the next day! I didn't check out how pricing are on sneakers but sneakers at resale it's just going to cost a lot but I will say that their customer service was better here than other stores that I've been to that are closer to me. read more

Called into the store to get a quote on some Off-White AF1s I was trying to sell. Store manager was friendly, straightforward, and answered all of my questions. When he couldn't give me my asking price, he offered to consign them for me. I just wanted them gone, and we were able to meet in the middle. I was expecting to get lowballed, but nope... Super appreciated! Came into the store, manager wasn't there, but one of the employees took care of me. My friend wanted to sell a piece of clothing here so he called ahead and was told that they do buy clothes. He even told the person that picked up the phone the specific brand and type of garment it is and was told to come in so they can take a look. We drove out and the person that met with us in store told us that they don't buy clothes ?? There are two things that lead me to this rating: 1. My experience at this store when it first opened was AWFUL! The shoe inventory was pathetic, the cockiness of the sheer quantity their self-branded merch was a joke, and the employees were either poorly trained or were just lazy, useless, ignorant kids--there was zero customer service. The value of a business and its ability to succeed is best gauged by how well they listen to customers and how responsive and agile they are at making adjustments. This place has completely been turned around by great ownership and management--big time. The staff was responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable (nice Stussy's ). The shoe inventory is light years beyond where it was, and top streetwear brands have replaced the self-branded merch (Essentials!). Way better shopping experience! Great job. 2. All of the reviews spewing about their high prices are just, well...gotta say it...IDIOTS. This store does not exist for resellers to cop locally and flip shoes, it does not exist for most serious sneakerheads to pile onto their collections, and it does not exist to compete with fucking Stock X! Rent, electricity, cable, staff, and marketing cost A LOT of money. So you're just kinda lucky to have this place to walk into, poke around, and sell your shoes if you so choose (note: they have a new selling model, no more commission). You get eyeballs and captive buyers, they pay the bills to put your shoes on the shelf--pretty fair deal. This store is for "Joe Consumers" who impulse buy at shopping malls, it's not for most sneakerheads. I only say "most" because there is a small, but good "steals" rack at the back of the store, and a case of grails where you can find some reasonable (and some unreasonable) prices on rare and hard-to-find pairs. So PLEASE stop playing this business off like it exists to rip you off with outrageous prices, shops like Flight Club, Urban Necessities, and others have been charging prices like these for many years--very successfully, and without you whining about it. Was walking by this store the other day and remembered how badly I was treated when this store first opened in the spectrum. The thought of how I was treated irritated me so much that I just had to write a review a year after the fact. So extra, but I still literally have not forgotten about it. I walked in with my girlfriend. We had just gotten hot chocolate. She was really excited to try on some shoes, so she did. I went to sit on the benches. Note, the benches suck and are not sturdy at ALL...wooden benches that look and feel like they costed about $5. We put our hot chocolates on the bench. I decided I wanted to try on some shoes as well. Got up to grab a shoe, and as I went to sit down on this cheap ass bench, it tipped and I had to catch myself by slamming my hand on the bench so I wouldn't fall. But, the drinks fell with me...and a couple of hot chocolate splatters hit a few shirts on the rack directly behind these benches. I instantly felt terrible, I know that the items in the store are expensive and that some are on consignment, but it was seriously an accident. I remember we alerted one of the guys at the store. I immediately saw instant rage from one of them but he kept repeating "It's fine it's fine" as he started checking the shirts avoiding eye contact with me. Then when he realized the splatter was on 3 shirts and not just 1, he got even more upset. At this point I was sweating and trying to be as apologetic as possible, but he didn't care. He later said after one of my I'm sorry's, "I mean, I know it was an accident but if you could pick up the items you splattered a drink on that would be cool. Or maybe you could pickup these shirts, bleach them at home, and then maybe we would take them back".... I was so taken back by this response. Sounded like such a fucking entitled little boy. So insensitive like the universe revolved around him. Expecting me to drop $800 all because they failed to alert us that drinks were not allowed (no sign saying they were) and also failed by not having a secure place to sit while trying on shoes. That was a hard, hard pass. My gf bought a pair of $200 shoes that she was iffy on because of this incident. She felt as though she needed to purchase something because I wasn't going to purchase ANYTHING after being treated like that. When she went to the front to purchase these shoes, the same guy said "at least your buying these"...I just have no words. Every time I pass this shop, I never fail to tell everyone around me how fucked up they treated us. Im a female by the way. Not once did anyone ask if I was okay after basically falling off those cheap ass $5 benches. I don't remember this dudes name but he had a passive douche like voice, and a personality to match. Imagine being so pressed over this. Hella red flags. I know a toxic when I see one. For a store to sell shoes/shirts/sweatshirts with a hefty price tag, I would think the decor (the furniture to try on shoes) would be up to par as well. Again, this was a year ago so I have no idea if they invested in nicer safer benches and/or nicer non douche-like employees. The manager here sucks! Instead of getting a sale he was just rude to a customer and made me feel bad about a shoe which was an accident! I get it, these shoes are expensive but then monitor your customers and make sure that they are trying it on the way you want us to try it on especially when we are the only customers in the store and not make me feel bad after. I decided to bring in some pairs to get legit checked one of them being Travis Scott SB Dunks that I knew were 100% authentic. Was authenticated through check check and at got sole. The socially awkward teens in this store tried to tell me they weren't real. Regardless of them no being able to authenticate an authentic shoe, the customer service was horrendous. Walked in here last week and had never seen this store or heard about it. Being a big collector of shoes I was seriously ready to drop a $1,000 at least to leave with a few pairs. As I'm drooling trying to decide on just 3-4 pairs I keep looking at the employees all standing talking to each other, after at least 10 minutes of looking at shoes then looking at them then back at shoes on and on and not one of them saying a single word to me, NOT A SINGLE HI OR ANYTHING.... I got so irritated and snapped out of it thinking, I'm not going to beg these guys to take my money, so I walked and will never give this place a second look. Bought 7 size pair of Nike Dunk Low shoes for my wife as a gift for 210$ before tax and credit card fees. Size was so small that my wife could not even squeeze her feet in this shoes even though she wears 38 European size and American 7 size for most of her shoes brands. So I am not even sure if I was sold a real Nike shoes but not a fake copy with messed up sizing. Next day in the very morning I came back to the store to ask for the exchange for the bigger size. I did not ask for money back even though Stockx sells same shoes for 110$ which is almost twice less. I just needed a bigger size. Store manager said they do not own shoes and sell other people shoes in their store therefore cannot make any exchanges as money for this sold pair of shoes was already sent to the real owner/seller of those sneakers. It is very awkward that business owner sells shoes in his store that he does not even own. My personal opinion: this place should be avoided if you are buying a gift for someone who is not with you at this moment. Hopefully California Department of Consumer Affairs will start looking more carefully at these so-called consignment stores and regulate this industry so owners of such businesses will start taking responsibility and business risks without overlaying them to consumer's shoulders. read more

FYI they have some policy that if they are uneducated or unsure on a shoe they will not buy the lot (5) of shoes that were brought in. But will proceed to tell you to get a second opinion. They also compared a 2016 sole to a 2019 sole on a Jordan 1 and said the 2016 sole "felt softer" or "not as stiff". Hopefully they can educate employees on quality control or to have confidence in "authentication". read more
