Can I just say the best experience!!!The waitress asked us if we would prefer family style - the chef would cook whatever he wants off the menu and surprise us. We said sure !!! Wow everything he sent out was delicious!!!!!! We had watermelon green salad, bruschetta, la caprese, muscles, calamari, spaghetti bolognese, pesto gnocchi, linguine with clams, three different cooked steaks (medium, well-done, medium rare). We were very satisfied and happy with having done it family style. He came out to greet us afterwards and thanked us for coming in. We would definitely return. Everything was delicious and felt like we had walked into an Italian home and had dinner made for just us. Editing to add: when he was chatting with us he added that he made some things not on the menu because he could tonight. Also-Desserts were divine: tiramisu especially.

We just went to pick up 2 family dinners for my parents 30th anniversary dinner. When we got there they had no record of us placing an order. They didn't seem to care or be interested in helping in any way. The manager just said they didn't have the order and walked away. We showed them our confirmation email and the lady said "oh that website is not active. We don't use it to take orders" this makes no sense. They were happy to take our money but because the order doesn't go through we're just out of luck???? The restaurant is aware the company running their website are scammers but do nothing about it. Please do not support them. They wouldn't even give us a discount to dine in.

My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.

I have always enjoyed their happy hours here and the hours are: M-F 3-6PM, at the bar and high bar top tables. I like their garlic soup extra hot, the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta with Italian sausage, squid ink pasta with calamari and shrimp, and I don't remember which one I liked more or if I like both as well: the bolognese or the braised short rib. I'm sure you cannot go wrong trying both though. I also enjoy coming for their DineLA, so this one experience is probably just a one off.

I heard of this place by a friend, she said it was somewhere i could eat good and healthy. So i decided to stop by since i was around. I was immediately greeted by a nice lady. The place was not to crowded but i looked at what people where eating at it looked delicious. I decided to go with the Chicken cilantro panini which i swear could have not been a better choice. It is way richer in taste than Chipotle and almost no grease what so ever. I was a little bummed that it wasn't bigger but i guess it is suppose to be for weight watchers being next to te old Golds Gym and all. Well i was leaving here without trying more of their menu so dessert it was!! "And i will have the Nutella Croissant Strawberry and Banana!! i know im being bad but every now and then you have got to feed your wild side. And before i left i killed it with the Citrus Blend! You would not guess it from the outside, but this place is really great. I have been coming here for quite some time now. The food always tastes great. It is normally a bit busy whenever I go so I got used to calling in advance to place my order. My food is ready within a couple minutes of me getting there. Location is hidden, I've tried explaining to a couple people where it is at and have even driven down Sayre and tried to point it out and some people are still not sure where it is. A true Gem in Sylmar is no joke. If you want great fresh food you have to try the Fixx. They have breakfast, panini's wraps, salads and a fresh juice and smoothie bar. Everything is made on the spot. It is an inspiring menu and the two brothers who own the place are very nice and inviting. It is a laid back atmosphere with a t.v. to watch music, sports or what ever you request. I'm so glad it came up in the search because I've driven past this location so many times and never noticed it! Sylmar's fix is located on a corner where there is a large sign for the Mercado Neighborhood Market on the building. Parking can be really busy in this area and you may have to have a short walk, but I got lucky the sidewalk was empty right next to the store. I would only have to say that the street and sidewalk are pretty dirty with litter so just watch your step. I ordered the Color Me Green Juice and the Chicken Pesto Panini for myself, and the Penne Alfredo Pasta for a friend and took them to go. My Chicken Pesto Panini tasted amazing! The chicken is chopped up into smaller pieces which allows the sauce to be all over inside the sandwich so you get an equal amount of sauce and chicken with every bite. I love the bread it's crunchy but easy to bite into and this sandwich was VERY fulfilling! The Color Me Green Juice is very delicious, freshly made and all I did when I got home was add some ice to make it colder. I was lucky my friend let me have some of the Penne Alfredo Pasta because WOW, that is the creamiest Alfredo pasta I've ever had! That was so warm and tasty! The only problem with this place is that it's on my driving route many days of the week so they might be seeing a whole lot more of me there in the future!!!!!

If you want spice without it being too hot, medium is absolutely the move. The tenders were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and evenly coated in seasoning. The spice didn't overpower the chicken, which I really appreciated. Every bite was crunchy, flavorful, and satisfying, and you can tell the chicken itself is high quality for sure. Now let's talk about the Ritchie Rich Fries!!!! These deserve their own moment. They were fully loaded and extremely saucy, in the best way possible. The sauce soaked into the fries just enough without making them soggy, and everything worked together perfectly. The combination of chicken, fries, coleslaw, and pickles, was honestly elite. The coleslaw added a cool, creamy balance to the spice, while the pickles brought that tangy bite that cuts through the richness. Every forkful had the perfect mix of heat, crunch, creaminess, and acidity. Portion-wise they definitely don't hold back. The plate was filling and worth every dollar. This is comfort food done right! Definitely indulgent, flavorful, and satisfying from start to finish. Shoutout to Hilda by the way! You can tell she really knows what she's doing back there. Watching her prepare the food, especially the Ritchie Rich Fries, made it clear she doesn't play when it comes to the food here haha. She loaded those fries with care and confidence, and it shows in every bite. That kind of attention makes a difference and definitely elevated the whole experience. Overall, Ritchie's Hot Chicken absolutely delivers. Great spice levels, generous portions, insanely loaded fries, and chicken that's cooked exactly how it should be. If you're a hot chicken fan or just looking for a solid, flavorful meal, this spot is a must-try. I'll definitely be back, and honestly, I'd order the exact same thing again without hesitation! You had me at KIM…read more That one-woman show that: greets all with a smile, nails the orders (for a roomful of people), provides super-fast service, pours a mean drink, keeps her cool under pressure. Highly recommend the BREAKFAST BURRITOS. My bud had his with bacon, I did sausage. The chef's not afraid to 'put a little burn on it' - which goes a long way in our worlds. Delicious! The TURKEY CLUBs and COBB SALADS looked fantastic as well. And, man that CHICKEN QUESADILLA looked beefy big and made right. Factor in ICE COLD UNION JACK IPAs and, this place was a home run.
