Another great local coffee shop, tucked away in a side mall this place makes really good coffee and matcha drinks. They have several items for breakfast and lunch all made on site and a fantastic dessert and pastry case with all kinds of sinful items. This place is always busy, they have nice tables and seating for those that want to hang out. They are great you when you enter and are super friendly. Their drinks are not too sweet, and the coffee is fantastic. Parking can be a challenge due to the lot size and several places of business in the mall, but it is worth the stop. read more

Everything was delicious. Drink: we both got chai teas and they were pretty sweet, perhaps a bit too much for my personal liking. Service: the cashier was kind! The setup here is: pay, order, get your own utensils and drink, bus your own table, and leave when you're ready. Ambiance: a classic cafe with those who are there to chat and catch up, and those who bring their laptops to do work independently. I rarely give 1 star to a coffee place but this place deserves 1 star for the coffee. That's it. We usually go to Insomnia coffee when visiting Beaverton but wanted to try something new. Otherwise it is a religious place with signs of Jesus and discrimination done based on religion. We felt so unwelcomed and uncomfortable standing in line for coffee seeing all the signs around, but kept our minds open. Then we waited and waited for our coffee. We saw three people behind us getting their coffee before us only because they wore "Jesus loves you" sweatshirt or something similar. Coffee was just okay. I didn't feel the extra shot of espresso in my latte. We will never go back again. Keep religion out of coffee shops. read more

The food is not bad but when I went at 8 am, they had one person working all the food so it was quite slow, slower than a normal sit down restaurant typically is. The chicken chorizo burrito was not bad taste wise but unfortunately, the chips it came with were extremely stale, as in inedible stale. Coffee wise, the drinks were alright but nothing special. Their drinks aren't very sweet which is either a good or bad thing depending on what your preference is. There is a new terrific coffee house in Bethany and I am so happy. It is in the old Fresh Thyme space which has been completely overhauled. It is now lovely, bright, and clean. The decor is awesome.There are cheerful plants and nifty art hangs on the walls. You will find even a fireplace and comfy couches. The minion and I came in on a late Saturday morning and had breakfast with delicious iced mochas.They were perfect. We shared crepes and waffles. Everything was on point and did I mention how warm and gracious the people are? They have punch cards. And ice water. And all kinds of treats, breakfasts, and sandwiches. Oh, and all the milks for your beverage. I love that. We will be back. I am hoping they get some outside tables set up so we can soon enjoy fresh air and espresso simultaneously. I wish this new coffeehouse were closer to me! I drove out to Beaverton recently to check out this business because they just opened. I felt so welcome and the menu was even better than I expected. It's in a strip mall type area with a parking lot. The menu has all the coffee options you'd expect, plus more food items than I expected - their pastry case is huge with lots of really delicious looking items, they have paninis, and they serve crepes and waffles on the weekends. The staff was so friendly. I saw them go out of their way to be kind to another customer. Service was quick. I ordered a drip coffee and caprese panini. The sandwich came with chips and a side salad - a nice surprise! Everything tasted good. My only wish is that the restrooms were not gendered. Since they're one-person locking rooms, not having the male/female signs on front would prevent wait times and be more welcoming to those who identify outside of the gender binary. That's a small request though and easy to change! Inside, there is table seating and two really comfortable-looking couches. Small, cute art adorns the walls. Seating is socially distanced which was good because they were busy. It would be a great place to meet a friend or gather a small group. Highly recommend dropping by this coffeehouse! read more

A few weeks ago, while I was watching all the drama unfold on my local Next Door App, I came across the owner's post asking everyone to drop by and try their coffee/pastries. Inspired by the suggestion, I decided to pay a visit to support a local Beaverton business! When I arrived at 9am, the place was already filled with customers. I was greeted by a very friendly barista and she helped me make up my mind about what to order. I got the fazoletti Marionberry pastery and a lavender infused latte. I am happy to report that both were delicious. The pastry was fluffy, and I'd recommend tearing it to pieces so you can dip each piece into the jam buried in the center. The lavender latte was light and infused with a lovely lavender scent, which was enjoyable as a lavender lover. They also had an array of cakes and sandwiches as well. the tanasbourne area seriously lacks in indie coffee options, so you might find yourself here. coffee is okay, not bad but nothing to write home about. definitely worth noting the deep religious tones, bible verses on the walls with christian music playing. this is a religiously diverse community, and fear others may not feel welcome here due to the overt christian tones (despite what the owners will say). i was approached by a woman while waiting for my order, and was told how much jesus loves me for an uncomfortable amount of time while holding my arm. i don't want to be preached to so heavily while getting coffee. don't think ill return -- i'll stick with insomnia or elliot & murrey. read more

I went to this coffee shop on my lunch hour to try some food since it's in the same shopping center. I have 35min for lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese and it took 25 minutes to make it. So I had to shove it in my mouth and run back to work. The sandwich was good. The cheese mix and crisp on the sandwich is delicious. The salad is just basic plain SMALL amount of mixed greens with some balsamic. Rhe dressing is good. Wiah it had some fresh tomatoes and cucumbers and such. It also comes with a SMALL hand full of kettle chips. So the only thing home made is the sandwich. so it taking 25 minutes is nuts. Also for sandwich and 1 drink it was nearly 20$. I don't know if this was because of a missing employee, sick or just didn't show, or from scheduling. Rating this two stars because the actual cafe is cute. Unfortunately, they were unable to make my very simple drink correctly. I had them remake it but it was honestly worse the second time. I think it's a mix of their technique and then not pulling the espresso shot correctly. Their espresso is EXTREMELY sour and acidic. If I wasn't in a rush I would've asked for a refund because I was unable to drink it. My friend and I visited Symphony Coffeehouse a few days ago. We ordered a latte, tea, fudge brownie and tiramisu. We enjoyed our snack and made plans to visit today to try lunch. I was looking forward to trying their eggplant sandwich that I've seen posted in all the menu pics. Unfortunately it was closed off the menu board at the restaurant and I was told it's gone for good. So we ordered their Caprese sandwich and the grilled cheese sandwich. Both plates came with chips and a soggy spring mix salad. Both sandwiches were fairly mediocre. (The best Caprese sandwich is found at Fireside Grill for only $4 more). After our sandwiches we got two desserts, the cinnamon hazelnut apple tart and the strawberry vanilla tart. These were tasty but not worth the $5.50 price tag. The biggest disappointment is how much their prices have gone up since they opened. Our sandwiches were $3 more than the pics from only 7 months ago. Of course prices do increase but if they go too high, people stop buying. The coffeehouse has a lovely atmosphere with varied seating inside and a few tables outside. Employees seem friendly. On our first visit they were quite busy so the lady at the counter said she wouldn't be able to deliver our items to us so I should pick them up myself from the counter. Ok. You are also asked to bus your table. I'm not sure why I left a tip. Symphony Coffeehouse is a nice place to try at least once. read more

The coffee is good and the lemon mango scone was delicious, but the customer service is why I'll be going back. I ordered a caramel macchiato not realizing that it was an espresso-size serving. When the barista called my name I was surprised at what I had. The barista saw my expression and took the time to explain that what I wanted was a caramel macchiato latte. Minutes she called my name and gave me the latte for free! My mistake, but she fixed it. Terrific! She wouldn't take any money so I put the cash in the tip jar. i've visited this place a few times with my family and my self for lunch . However, during my most recent visit, I forgot to remind myself to allow extra time because it always seems like they're understaffed. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my panini, and when I asked about it, I was told there was only one person in the kitchen. The employee seemed stressed by my question, and I didn't feel like it was the best way to address it. This left me feeling frustrated and I didn't enjoy my visit. I think it would be helpful if the restaurant informed customers in advance about potential longer wait times, especially if they are in a hurry. Friendly service, cute little coffee shop. Nice selection of coffees, tea and treats. Wanted to try this new place that recently opened in the neighborhood. They have many alternate milk options for coffee which I appreciate! With drinks there are plenty of food options to complement. Choices include waffles and crepes, breakfast sandwiches, donuts and assorted pastries. Had oat milk latte with lavender and a Cortado. Pastries were very fresh and tasty, we had the Marionberry empanada, fazoletti Marionberry and the merendine pastry. Will try the crepes next time! This tells me that either their food is pre-made and they cannot modify it, or they wouldn't make a simple grilled cheese with turkey. That was my request, a grilled cheese add turkey, like a ham and cheese sandwich but they don't do ham. I had read reviews before choosing this place, but next time I'll take my business elsewhere.
