Love combo gyro platter. Used to order their combo gyro pizza before and now both . Tazza and Syracuse halal gyro is my favorite place.

We stopped in this spot after attending a concert a few miles away. The reviews were great on Yelp. When we arrived there was only one other customer on line. The staff were very friendly and welcoming even though it was close to their closing time. They specialize in gyro's but also make other sandwiches. Me and my friend both ordered the lamb gyro. I only added some lettuce and a little hot sauce. My friend ordered the works with the white sauce. Honey those gyros were delicious. The bread was nice and fresh. My friend complained that they had too much hot sauce on theirs but admitted it was still good. I would definitely check this place out again if I'm in the area.

Tried this place first during a Yelp event and the food was incredible so now it's my go to whenever I'm over there. The staff is friendly and the food came out super quick. I highly recommend the chicken platter with EXTRA white sauce- it was so fresh and full of flavor. The portion was huge so you can get two lunches out of it. Definitely try this place!

I decided to head back to Syracuse Halal Gyro for lunch with my husband(his first time). The first time I tried them was for a Yelp event hosted by our local Yelp Ambassador. I couldn't decided between lamb or falafel then, but went with the combo chicken/lamb platter. I said I would definitely be back to try their falafels. Today's lunch I went with lamb platter added picked turnips and jalapeños topped with white sauce and hot sauce. I ordered the side of falafel. My husband had the chicken platter over fries with white sauce. The platters come with lettuce, diced red onions, tomatoes, sliced pita bread and choice of sauce. The quality was the same as I tried it the first time. Everything tasted fresh, my lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I'm glad I added the hot sauce along with the white sauce both were delicious mixed with the rice and meat. My husband likes the chicken, he was pleasantly surprised. I had it before and I loved it. He said he would definitely order here again. The falafel were good, good consistency in the inside, a little too crispy on the outside for me but still good. The restaurant is inside a convenient store to the left as you walk in. There's a few seating but looks like their business mostly consists of takeout. The staff were nice and always had a smile on their face. They also have a food truck called Habibi's so I'll be looking out for that.

Ordered delivery the day after attending their Yelp event. Honestly, my go to for quick delivery and plenty of food. Their combo platter is delicious with their white sauce and hot sauce. Easy time ordering online and you can customize the toppings that you want easily too.

Their combo platter was amazing, as well as their hummus. The food was hot and hummus was fresh. Even with using door dash it was fresh.

My partner and I were on Instagram and came across the "The Coast Two Coast" pizza from Nicole + Ashley -(@costtwocoasteats) and instantly knew what we were having for dinner. Not only is the combination of Gyro, Chicken and Pepperoni delicious, but so incredibly well made. The dough, the sauce, the cheese! (Chef kiss) - Great job. Excited to go back soon! Other amazing options to eat were: Baklava, Chicken Gyro, Chicken Over Rice, Chicken Shawarma, Combo Platter, Falafel Gyro, Lamb Combo Plates, and a wide variety of other combos that looked just as delicious!!!

Nothing better when you don't want to cook.

Best place in cuse to get chicken and rice. I usually get the lamb platter with fries as the base. Always comes fresh and hot with a good amount of protein. Tastes similar to the chicken and rice in NYC. I usually order Uber eats but if you ever go in , the restaurant is attached to a bodega which is very convenient if you wanna grab drinks or other snacks. The guys who work here are cool, friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my chicken and rice. Place is addicting lol

    Tasty tasty lamb gyro!

Are you hungry? Like Halal cart food/Gyros/pizza? Do you need this food within 1-2 minutes of ordering it? Well, have I ever got the place for you! These guys have gyros. They have pizzas. They have gyro pizzas. They sell red sauce and white sauce. Baklava, too! Looks homemade. The music in here slapped. One of the guys had nice cologne. I was still hungry after eating elsewhere when I walked in here. I'm sitting in my car, half a gyro left, and I'm no longer hungry. The gyro dudes are friendly, the music is good, and the food is good. I can't complain!

The place was pretty small and unassuming from the outward appearance. Upon coming in, there are limited seats, but everything was neat and clean. I could smell some enticing aromas from the kitchen. Not sure if they are short staffed, but it took a while for someone to come to the counter to take our order. I really was looking forward to having the lamb gyro, so that was what I ordered, as well as ordering a baklava for dessert. The food took a while to come out, but I'm fine waiting for something great to eat. They did have a number of takeout orders that were served while we waited, maybe 3 of them. Once the food came out, the lamb was pretty nice, and there was a reasonable portion of meat in the gyro, as well as some tomato, lettuce, and onion on a nice pita bread. But the tzatziki was very disappointing, it was very thin, and didn't have much flavor. That sort of killed the whole gyro. The baklava was very tasty, and had nice pistachio crumbles on it, but the honey was a bit too much, giving it a very soggy bottom. Flavor was good though, and I don't mind a little messy dessert. All in all, I was a little disappointed with the meal. I tend to be a little generous in my reviews, so I gave it three stars, as I felt I couldn't rate it as a 2, but I couldn't quite give a four star rating. I'd give it another try, but maybe not go for a gyro.

We arrived around 2:30pm on a Thursday, there was only one other group there. We were immediately greeted and our waiter was super friendly and chatty. The inside is pretty casual, and they played 2000s hits at a good volume. We started with a cup of Turkish coffee... I've never had Turkish coffee so maybe this is standard, but they did not offer cream or sugar. I don't usually like black coffee but it was surprisingly light, and the serving was pretty small so I actually quite enjoyed it. The owner later said it was the brand Utica coffee (which I love). We ordered the loaded fries, which came with taziki sauce, feta cheese, and tabouleh. Usually loaded fries feel very heavy and greasy, but these tasted very fresh. For the main dish, we ordered the Elias Gyro and the Layla Gyro. My pallet is usually more oriented towards lots of flavor and spice, so I found the Layla Gyro to be lighter than I would have liked. There wasn't as much sauce as I was expecting, but it was still very moist. I loved the pickled vegetables in it, but I wasn't a huge fan of the fries. The Elias Gyro was a lot more flavor heavy thanks to the garlic sauce, which was delicious. The meat in both gyros was cooked perfectly. Lastly, we had the baklava. Ive never had baklava before so I have nothing to compare it to, but oh my goodness it was so good. Overall, super positive experience. It's always such a treat to see the owner walking around interacting with customers, and I would definitely go again whenever I want something light and fresh.
