I am thoroughly disappointed in the post-sale service following the purchase of a brand-new travel…read moretrailer. Within three months, our RV suffered a broken axle--an issue fully covered under warranty. The failure occurred three hours from home, so I contacted Charles, our salesperson, expecting some guidance in arranging a tow to an authorized repair facility. His earlier assurance that "we will take care of you" if anything went wrong has proven remarkably hollow. Towing to an authorized dealer is prohibitively expensive, and we were essentially told we were on our own. One might reasonably assume the dealership could arrange transport to a Camping World location for warranty repair, yet that assistance was nowhere to be found. The situation appears to stem from a perfect storm of limited Good Sam insurance coverage, questionable build quality on a brand-new unit, and a salesperson whose interest evaporates the moment the sale is complete. Charles can talk a convincing game, but when it mattered, he dropped the ball entirely, leaving us to navigate the process without support. If you are considering Camping World, proceed with caution. Once the paperwork is signed, you should fully expect to become an afterthought.

We worked with Rebecca. Don't.

Now communication and service is unreliable and terrible. On three separate occasions in 2025 I made appointments for service on my Coachman Galleria, only to learn they 1) forgot the appointments were reserved 2) kept the van for over three weeks without even looking at it, nor communicating with me the challenges they faced. In one case they made some repairs to the awning motor/ sensor which kept opening on its own. Less than a month later we find the problem has returned and they 1) still don't know what is broken/wrong 2) proposed charging me $600 a second time - even though the first solution didn't solve the problem. I can understand why service manager Brett, seems overwhelmed. But he simply does not communicate and provides flippant answers that are unconvincing or not fact based. Until they improve staffing, I recommend you stay clear of the service department.

Bob was very easy to talk with and truly cared about our questions . He answered all of our questions with. A smile on his face which help us feel more confident and comfortable picking out the unit we purchased. We agreed on a time and a date to pick up our new trailer and went through a 3 hour orientation with a another person who was also very nice and answer all of questions with a smile on his face I like to think that we have have made a friend with Bob at 83RV . I would highly recommend stopping buy to look at what they have available, knowing that they will treat you politely and not push anything to you , you do not want or need.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Jayco and Rick's RV…read more I bought my Jayco camper brand new just a year ago, and it has now been sitting in Rick's RV's service department for over a month for warranty repairs I was told would take two weeks. During this entire time, I have received zero updates unless I call them myself. Meanwhile, I am still making payments on this camper and paying for storage I can't even use because my camper is stuck in their shop. This has completely ruined my family's summer camping plans, and it is beyond frustrating that a brand-new camper should need to be in service for over a month without clear updates. To make matters worse, Rick's RV told me I could come pick up the camper without a working stove (which is under warranty) so I could use it. How ridiculous is it to pay $27,000 for a camper only to be told I can take it without a fully functioning kitchen because Jayco and Rick's RV can't figure out whether to replace the stove? The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service from both Jayco and Rick's RV is outrageous and should be a serious warning to anyone thinking about buying from either company. They have my money, but I don't have the working camper I paid for, and they don't seem to care how this impacts their customers. If you are considering purchasing a Jayco or working with Rick's RV, think twice. Their customer service ends the moment they get your money, and you will be stuck chasing them for updates while your plans and wallet suffer. I am posting this publicly because I want others to know exactly what kind of service they can expect.

We had been free to walk around and look at units on our own with no pressure and a few days later we were back there to make the purchase. We couldn't have asked for better service from everyone involved including Mike, Jeff and Bob, who got the unit completely ready for us and explained all thoroughly. We love our new camper and can't wait to take it out. We would suggest Sunny Island to anyone looking for a good deal and honest, friendly service. Thank you to all at Sunny Island for making us very happy.

Chris, the General Manager, said that was normal but wouldn't get on the roof to look at it. The Thor representative that Chris called, who had not looked at it, said it was normal. Both Chris and the Thor rep LIED to me to try to make this sale. BEWARE OF THIS PARTICULAR RV, 2023 THOR FOUR WINDS 25M. THE ROOF WARRANTY IS VOID. And, I would not purchase anything from this dealership. It is very apparent that they do NOT have the customer's interest in mind. They were very willing to let me make close to a 100k investment in this RV knowing full well that the roof was defective. RUN!!!
