Ordered a jasmine milk tea w/ agar boba (50% sweet) from the kiosk and got my drink maybe 3 min later bc there were no other customers. The first sip was alright, but then I couldn't taste the tea after that anymore. The jasmine was floral and tasted great (but again only for the first sip and maybe a couple sips after if I took a break from drinking). The agar boba was just like normal agar boba so I still enjoyed the drink. Overall, not my favorite T%, but maybe I'll give it another try if I'm back in the area. read more

T% is a solid spot to grab a drink. The menu doesn't feel overwhelming with options. You have your milk teas, matchas, coffees, teas and smoothies and a solid number of toppings. Pics attached! They even have mochi as a topping. TBH, it's not for everyone. My sister said it feels like she's drinking up snot and I'm not gonna lie, kinda accurate description. But personally, I don't mind this as an option when I want a topping I don't have to chew. It was a warm day so I opted for the Mango Tango. I reduced the sugar to 80% and it was perfect. They use real mangos so you get mango fruit chunks in the smoothie. I added some cheese mousse on top and man, the balance of the fruit with the salty cheese was just perfection. My BF went with the Taro Mochi, so that's how I was able to try the mochi. He also went with 80% sugar and it was sweet enough for both of us. The shop is tiny. You walk in, self order at the kiosk, and then wait for your number to be called. They have some seating outside but none inside. Aside from drinks, they do offer mochi donuts and korean corn dogs!! Convenient location in downtown Davis near Philz and Raising Canes. Plenty of street parking in the area. It's more of an order and go type of establishment. You order on a kiosk, wait for your order, and you'll be good on your way. They do have outdoor seating though if you wanted to stop and rest for a while. They also have a selection of mochi donuts to choose from to add a sweet treat to your boba run. I got my drink pretty quickly but since I also ordered a korean corndog, I had to wait another couple of minutes for that. I ordered the lychee flamingo with lychee jelly and it was SO REFRESHING. It had some real lychee bits in it and a nice touch of lemon flavor to it. It was pretty much like a lychee lemonade to me. HIGHLY recommend! My corndog was also really good. They had a couple options for dipping sauce but I always opt for spicy mayo. It was hot, fresh, and had that good cheese pull. The shop inside is small, you order from tablets and there are a couple tables outside. We opted for the Strawberry Overload, which was the perfect sweetness! My family enjoyed the Mango Green Tea and Lychee Flamingo. A great option for boba in downtown amidst the many other options. T% is a great option for boba. I have been a customer at T%, T4U, Teaspoon, MandRo, Molly Jasmine, and T% is in my top 3 because of its location, quality of tea, and quality of boba. My favorite drink is their Matchacha. You can order on the kiosks, and then you wait for your drink. The staff are very friendly, and if you have any questions about special customizations that are not easily translatable on the kiosk, you are just a few feet away from the counter, and the staff can let you know if your custom request can be accommodated or not. The ability to adjust ice and sweetness is standard at almost all boba places, and this site is no exception. The main limitations are that there is no in-store bathroom for customers, and there is limited seating outside. If you want to hang out with your friends over your boba purchase, you'll have to find another site to hang out. read more

It was my first time trying T% and I was sadly disappointed by what I had gotten. I ordered a taro mochi drink with 30% sweetness but the taro tasted different, almost artificial like compared to the taro drink I usually get at teaspoon. I've been here many times because I used to work in Downtown Davis and T% was close by. The boba is good, not the worst and not the best I've had. The shop is very small, basically standing room only. It often gets really crowded since there's not much space to wait for your drink. Service is okay, not particularly friendly. This time we ordered 3 drinks and the wait was long given there was only one group ahead of us-- 20 minutes. My boyfriend and his brother received their drinks and we had to wait even longer because mine hadn't come out yet. We asked the staff about my drink and they said I should've already gotten it. Nope, I didn't get my drink and there were no drinks that were done on the counter. The staff said to each other, "Okay who stole their drink??" I think the group ahead of us had stolen my drink since the staff confirmed they already made it. It's not T%'s fault that another customer stole my drink, but maybe they should change their practices so that orders aren't just placed on the counter for people to take. You don't have to confirm your order number with staff when you pick up an order, so it's very easy for anyone to just come in and steal someone else's drink/food. Stopped by on the way back to the bay and I'm glad we did! Got my go to drink- jasmine milk tea and it was perfect. Got it at 80% sweet. There was a good amount of floral in the tea and the boba was nice and chewy with some sweetness to it. My partner got the mango green tea at 50% sweetness and I got to say it's probably the best one I had in a long while. There was strong mango flavor and ripe mango bits. The flavor did not taste artificial at all. Even at 50% sweet it was delicious. I usually like 75% but my partner likes 50% and it was still good! Would definitely be back! read more

It's pretty small in there with no seating so it is a grab and go type of place. My fav drink is the lychee flamingo! I always add lychee jelly since it goes together so well. I wanted to give it another chance because I thought maybe their assam black milk tea, which is a classic at every boba shop, would be good. I just paid $7 again for sugar milk and it's still bad. I was really disappointed, I ordered and lychee slushy with boba and lychee jelly but there was lychee chunks with the skin on so I would get hard chunks of lychee every time.
