Nothing beats a BOGO deal for handcrafted drinks, especially when those drinks are from T%! I've been a T% supporter for a while now since the early days when they only had their original EG location and had discounts for Yelp check ins (ifykyk). While those days have long passed and there have been many other milk tea and boba offerings that have sprung up within the years in between, T% still remains a heavy hitter in the Sacramento milk tea and boba space. You'd be hard pressed to find a place that is able to pump out consistent quality while also offering a wide selection styles of beverages, and their new location is no different. We were able to attend the tail end of their grand opening event where they were offering BOGO on their drinks and were able to order a few drinks before they closed even though they were running out of ingredients like tea. All 6 of our drinks were quite good but my favorite had to be the lychee drink, which has is my new second favorite drink. The same can be said about this location which I would rank second to their original and far ahead of their Midtown location with its gaudy interior design and seemingly higher prices. read more

This is my favorite T% location in all over sac. It's ideal for working remotely-- fast free wifi, comfortable booth/seating, lots of plugs, good lighting, not too much ambient noise, & lots of parking. In addition to those perks, all of the drinks and snacks are so good. My go to drink is the matcha coconut cloud. The matcha is so creamy and it's perfectly paired with the coconut juice. If I needed something more caffeine, I'll get the Da Hong Pao milk tea or the Vietnamese coffee. They also have a teddy bear filled xmas tree which is sooo cute! read more

T% in Elk Grove had their grand opening this weekend and offered a BOGO deal for drinks and a selection of food! They also gave the cutest cat paw shaped taro flavored pudding for every drink. I love the pink interior and designs. It's also bigger than their other location in Sacramento, with way more tables and seating. There was already a line before they opened, but that was as expected. I got there around 10:15AM and was hoping that it wouldn't take too long to get a drink, but unfortunately it did because there did not seem to be a limit and the people at the very front left with multiple bags of drinks. The big orders of drinks and food must of took a long time to prepare. Shoutout to the workers because it must have been stressful for them, and they did their best to keep up. The employees were very nice and energetic because they would thank people for their patience, ask people in line if they want water, and brought extra chairs outside. By the time I finally got to the ordering kiosk I was ready and placed the order super fast to let the people behind me use it. I already thought about what I want beforehand while waiting, which was just the Hey Sesame drink. There was an option to get a bottled milk tea, but I'd rather get the same drink and save it for later. Finally opened one in Elk Grove and it was worth it. Ordered some refreshers and smoothies, plus a cheesecake and it was really good. Service was quick and friendly. The manager/owner was really very very accommodating. The store itself is larger than the Sacramento location and has more seating. The place is very instagram worthy with its aesthetics. read more

I'll have to update my review when I visit again as I went during their BOGO Grand Opening weekend event. It was pretty chaotic and unorganized. There was a QR code to order online, but the worker only showed it a few times as you got closer to the SINGLE kiosk inside. There should've been a QR code outside so people wouldn't be waiting in the heat for so long, and BOGO limited to one per person. I feel like it took so long because you could order any amount of drinks where a single person would order 4, which resulted in 8 drinks. They did provide plenty of seating, inside and outside, to accommodate the amount of people, but the business is pretty small. As for the drinks, I'm disappointed as I wrote on the notes of my drink do NOT use whole milk as I'm lactose intolerant, but when I got my drink the note said "use whole milk". I basically paid for drinks I couldn't consume and I didn't want to delay them up even more by making them remake my drinks as it took an hour just to get those two. I gave my drinks to my husband who said they tasted fine, but I'm still upset about the situation as a whole. Like I said, I will update my review if I go back to give them a second chance. I'm sure their service is fine when it isn't a grand opening, but they should've been better prepared. read more

The inside is very pretty and pleasant to be in. I had the Oreo smoothie and popcorn chicken. The drink was rather on the sweet side even with 80% sweetness, but it was still enjoyable. However the popcorn chicken was very burnt and extremely oily. Not to mention they are very stingy with the sauces. The sweet and sour sauce that comes with it is so little it's like they aren't even trying to hide how much they don't want to give you. I also paid 75 cents for the ranch which was a little more than the sweet and sour sauce but it was still pathetic I can't believe I had to pay for it. I'm giving a middle of the road review since my first time here was only for the Matsu Matcha pop-up. I got the banana creme brûlée drink and it was very delicious! Matcha is a trendy thing right now and I only like it when it's quality matcha because it can be so easily cheaped out or messed up. But now I'm hoping for a Matsu Matcha in Sac! The cashier said since I ordered no ice, they could only provide so much of the banana latte, which was 6 ounces, in a 16 ounce cup. The cashier would not exchange nor refund my drink. What a rip-off. Why cheat your customers? Never coming back again. In response to manager: The cashier never gave me the opportunity to remake my drink. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. They have plenty of tables but it was all filled. Most by students studying. It has a really nice atmosphere, and a nice place to study, but it's very loud so if you can't focus in loud environments, I don't recommend coming here to study. It's decorated very cute and they also have a photo op for you to take photos. They also host events once in a while, so make sure to follow their instagram to be in the loop for those. There is one cashier and one kiosk. Although it was busy, our order came out pretty fast, about 10 minutes. They have a sign that says if you don't like your drink, they can remake it to your liking, so don't hesitate to ask. We ordered spicy popcorn chicken and da hong pao milk tea. This is now my favorite place to get popcorn chicken, it's juicy, and actually spicy! It comes with a side of chili sauce already, but you can add on a ranch or extra chili sauce for extra $. The da hong pao milk tea is very similar to Molly tea, the recommended was 120% sugar and I'm glad I picked that option or else it wouldn't be sweet at all. I ordered the Jasmine matcha and the strawberry matcha drink. The Jasmine matcha tasted ok but made my stomach hurt after 30 minutes of drinking it. The strawberry matcha also made my stomach hurt. Arrived at the establishment at 3:30 pm. It was a little busy but it was expected for a new place. We ordered 3 drinks and it took 30 min for them to be done. I didn't mind waiting, what I didn't appreciate was the jumping around of orders that was happening. They need a system where they're able to get orders out in the sequence they received them. When we finally got our drinks I was not impressed at all. The matcha was watery, since it sat there for so long and the Oreo smoothie was also flat and had not depth to it. T% is a nice new addition to the area. It's calmed down after opening week, and we only had to wait around 5 minutes for our drinks (10-15 minutes for the food). They seem to have expanded their menu since the grand opening as well. Their yogurt series is my favorite, and I definitely recommend the Lychee Yogurt and Mango Yogurt. We also tried their Popcorn Chicken, Takoyaki, and Creme Brulee Strawberry Croffle. The popcorn chicken was both crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The takoyaki was also nicely crispy, and there was plenty of sauce and toppings. The Creme Brulee Strawberry Croffle was fresh and the custard had a slight salty flavor to offset the sweetness, too.
