Not sure I want to eat here again. No pictures because I ate a little and then just threw it all away. Orange chicken tasted good, at first. Then as I kept eating it, the chicken was hard to cut, it was dry inside and the texture was weirding me out. Flavor/sauce didn't seem too bad, but wasn't great either. Nothing memorable. Fried rice - it was rice, with so so much broccoli, maybe 3-4 pieces of snow peas, carrot strips, water chestnuts and cabbage strips. Huge portion which was cool, but the flavor was SO BLAND. It's fried rice. Why is there no flavor? Tossed. Lo Mein. Taste like boxed noodles. Absolutely no flavor, unless cardboard is a flavor? Also for a Veg lo Mein - this did not have much veggies. Not even broccoli. It was like 3-4 pieces of broccoli and carrot slices. Huge portion, but also tossed. Hot chili oil wasn't even that spicy. I've definitely had WAY better chili oil and actually spicy af. Nothing ordered was to be raved about or even worth ordering again. Frankly not even sure I want to give it another go. What would I even order at this point? Sadly it was all tossed, wished I could've given it to someone in need nearby, but I can't drive at the moment so I'm the garbage it went. The 1 star is because I had it delivered. I absolutely fell in love with this place when I first moved to Pflugerville three years ago. I became a regular, ordering takeout from here a few times a month. The food was usually hot, fresh, and flavorful. The one time there was an issue, they quickly and politely corrected it and made things right. A manager even called me later to apologize. The young man who worked the counter was extremely warm and friendly, and always remembered my name and order from my phone number. On the few occasions I changed my order he noticed and commented on it. When I walked in, he would immediately grab my order and hand it to me. Over the past several months, I have noticed a big difference. The man who works the front desk now is extremely dismissive, rude and unhelpful. He is petty and picks arguments for no reason. He has consistently refused to let me speak with a manager perhaps because he is actually the manager or owner, or just doesn't want my complaint to be heard. The food is now often bland and unseasoned. It sometimes doesn't even taste like the right dish. The food is sometimes so off that I've had to throw whole dishes away. I am not sure what has changed, but they don't seem to care about the quality of the food or customer satisfaction any longer. It is truly a shame because this used to be one of my favorite spots where everyone was so friendly and the food was great. With so much competition and so many restaurants constantly going out of business in this particular shopping center, it would benefit them to get their act together. read more

Have ordered from the numerous times in the past never any problems until last night. When I called and placed the order I was told it would be about an hour. After an hour and a half I called back to get an update. Was told driver was 15 minutes away, after about 25 minutes from that conv called again and was told he was two minutes away. He never showed!!! I called back only to be told that they only had one delivery driver that night. I get that, but don't promise delivery in an hour if you already know deliveries are running behind. Not sure if will try again!!! read more

Wait wasn't bad and prices for lunch specials are great for the portions you get, especially that they honor this on weekends. We ordered Kung Pao chicken and chicken Pad Thai. Although the pad thai isn't a lunch special, the portion was good but I was disappointed because I didn't get the traditional limes on the side, fresh bean sprouts, or cilantro to top. I really can't taste the sauce and I don't see any crumbled peanuts in the mix. It's very bland to say the least. I expected a tiny kick. I've been here for dine in and take out. My favorite so far is the sweet and sour chicken as the sauce comes on the side so you can choose how much you want. I also enjoyed the egg rolls and wonton soup. I tried the sweet and sour shrimp, but there was too much breading fir too little shrimp. The staff were friendly and attentive. Always busy always good!! Our family always orders from T. Jin's for our Chinese delivery! The hot and sour soup is a pucker of Fire. The Four Treasures is worth it's weight in gold! The combination fried rice is part savory part delicious part plentiful! The egg rolls roll over the taste buds with yummy goodness. The shrimp rolls will have you barking like a seal for more! I mean it's all good! Fast! And plentiful! I have eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life... and this is pretty gosh darn good! The worst part is trying to get through to order! Wow what a great place to dine at! My family loved of how fast and friendly the service was. The bathrooms were very clean. Tjin's is our go-to Chinese restaurant north of DT Austin. They use fresh ingredients and they just down right cook the dishes really well. As an example, there's a HUGE difference between a mediocre broccoli beef and TJin's broccoli beef, or a mediocre Kunpow chicken vs. Tjin's Kunpow chicken. The food was well made and flavorful. I will say for dinner portions the portions did seem somewhat small. The only thing I did not like was the fried rice upgrade side option for substitution was mediocre and lacked flavor. Other than that no complaints! The spring rolls was great tasting although they didn't have a lot of filling. But the Combination fried rice was great. The meat in it is small pieces but it was a really large serving size. This my go-to Chinese restaurant. Service is usually very quick and friendly, and the food is super yummy. After reading a review on Yelp about the Orange Chicken, that's what I tried my first time here. It really is amazing. Big chunks of white meat chicken, with a thin crispy coating, served with a perfectly balanced orange sauce, including fresh orange rind shavings. I've pretty much stayed with the Orange Chicken for every meal I've had here, except once I ordered the Sesame Chicken. It was very tasty, but nothing compares to the Orange Chicken they serve. I tasted my friend's Kung Pao Chicken, sans peanuts, during my last visit. It also was very fresh and tasty. The egg rolls are crispy and big. I've tried the hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup, and both are some of the best I've ever had. Along with the very flavorful hot chili oil they offer, the soups taste even better. I didn't see a lot of asians when I walked in. Should have taken the clue that this place is more catered towards the American palates (no offense). I have no complaints about the service and wait time and the food, everything was awesome. It's just that the taste weren't really up to par with other asian restaurants I have been to. I can't blame them though, because their restaurant is located in a town center not chinatown, so they have to target a different customer group.
