Just made my first call to see if we could make an appointment. The person answering the phone asked what breed. Before I could finish the word goldendoodle, the employee said, "No, goodbye." I felt it was extremely rude and unprofessional. That would be the last place I would entrust my fur baby. At least say a full sentence like I'm sorry we don't work with this breed or I'm sorry we have no available appointments today... you know, something respectful and considerate. I hope this review helps them with their manners so they continue to get more customers as the rest of their reviews look pretty solid. read more

I have been taking my dog here for the past year. I love this place! Not only is it very cost-efficient it's one of the best places I've ever used for grooming my dog. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the building. I almost did. But the gentlemen did an amazing job. I had my miniature schnauzer within an hour. When I went to pick him up he had him out on the grooming table ready to go. I took my Golden Retirver and Staffordshire Terrier there today for the first time and could not be more happy! They both look and smell great. Owner did a good job o both my dogs. He did what I asked as far as style & cut. This was my first time coming here. He did ask if I had been there before, I said no. What really disappointed me was the fact that I dropped my dogs off and all he said was how much the total was going to be and how long it would take. He called to let me know they were finished, I headed over to pick them up and as I handed my card over he looks at me and says oh sorry cash or check only... ummm ok, so now I had to leave my dogs run to the bank and come back.(Mind you the bank was on the complete opposite side of town) It would have been nice to get a heads up when I dropped them off or even when I received the phone call, he could have let me know. Making a client run around trying to accommodate you isn't what I was looking for. If you want clients you should work with your client not give them attitude and expect them to know. I used to take my dog to another pet grooming place and they would keep her for about 3 hours so when I moved to Santa Paula I didn't know where to take my dog til I found this place so I decided to make an appointment here, I dropped her off and about 45 min later he called me saying that my dog was ready to be picked up, at first I thought he had confused my dog but no he was actually done, he did an amazing job and my dog looks prettier than ever, he was very fast.
