After two days, nine phone calls, and four visits to both T-Mobile and AT&T trying to unlock one of our phones, I was completely exhausted and out of options. As a last resort, I walked into the T-Mobile store in Marina this morning--and that's where I met Jazz and Luke. From the moment I explained the situation, they truly listened. They took the time to dig into the issue, figured out exactly what was wrong, and--most importantly--knew how to fix it. Their customer service was outstanding. They stayed positive the entire time, walked me through each step, and even made calls to their service reps to ensure everything was fully resolved. Jazz and Luke went above and beyond in every way. They turned a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I'm incredibly grateful. They are absolute heroes in my book, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart! read more

Went to T Mobile on Marina Blvd. in San Leandro around 6 pm on a Monday. Walked in to ask a very simple question about my phone. They immediately said the wait would be about 60 minutes and please have a seat. I couldn't wait that long so I got in my car and drove to the T Mobile store at Bay Fair Mall in San Leandro. They greeted me politely and within 5 minutes a worker asked how he could help me. I then told the employee my issue and within 3 minutes he fixed the problem I was having with my phone. I used to be covered by another carrier, but was dissapointed with my service because sitting in hospitals and doctor offices, which i visit a lot, i could not use my phone due to i got no signal. So i switched to T Mobile, and instatly my phone would get a signal EVERYWHERE, and best of all, i only had to pay half of whst i did before. And anytime i have an issue with my phone, i walk into this store and immediately the staff know how to fix my phone. They are experts on how these cell phones work. Just yesterday, whenever i went to Yahoo mail, my screen would not show anything. It was blank. I took my phone to this store and the young team member just waved her hand upward on my phone, and instatly all my yahoo mail messages appeared on my screen. It was like magic. I had no idea what a simple fix it was. These people are amazing. So i highly recommend this place. read more

Overall really clean and nice looking store with friendly employees. The first time I came in, I had two young girls helping me switch over from AT&T to T-Mobile. They were fantastic! The next time I went in I was adding friend on my phone plan and buying a new iPhone for her. The guy that helped me had longish hair and there was an older lady there. They did help me and it all went smoothly, however, as someone who works in sales as well, the way they were trying to upsell me was pretty awful. I had the guy keep asking me if I wanted to open an extra line and the lady yelling from across the store "yeah you should open another line because it's a good deal and you might need it later.". The way in which they tried to upsell me was poorly executed. Here's a tip for them; before just yelling out all the promos and deals you have, get to know the customers needs and then find deals and promos that cater to their needs. Instead of just blindly yelling out deals and promos and asking customers over and over and over again if they want it. Nonetheless, I will keep coming to this store and the two younger girls that helped me were kind and professional and upsold when possible. read more

David helped us out earlier this evening in switching over our mobile phones and home internet from MINT & AT&T. He was great to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time ever at T Mobile. The service we got from David alone gave us the confidence we needed to feel good about switching carriers & we hope the service is just as good as the customer service we received. I see reviews about log wait times but please keep in mind that transactions like these take time, and I see that the reps are working as fast as they can. David & his coworker did an amazing job at handling a last minute rush before they closed making sure they reassured everyone walking in that they would get to them asap. I have been a customer of T-Mobile since the start-up of this company in Europe in 1996. However I can't recommend this Marina location. The staff here are unprofessional and definitely not helpful. The Young lady messed up my phone settings and messed up my account. The employees here also don't seem to know about the products being sold and weren't concerned that my identity was stolen because of the T-Mobile breach that affected many customers. I honestly believe that the employees here have some racial prejudice. I definitely would never recommend this location to anyone and suggest going to Salinas at Sherwood Gardens or going to Del Monte Center for help with your device or account. read more

Wow. One of the employees has posted as a customer, lol, to try to save face I suppose. So transparent. There are even MORE problems. One after another, every other day a new one. The DATE in the store, on the contract!!!! I set up payment, is somehow mysteriously changed to reflect not when I can pay, and oops says the store, we see it but gee, we cannot do a thing to help you. And this is illegal to alter a contract,but hey , TMobile went there.. I've also gotten ABSOLUTELY over 38 texts on alllllll different messages, which ignore you typing STOP and I've called in, and five reps and two supervisors swear they've all turned off texts from TMobile , yet they keep coming. Again. Ignored by whatever you originally arranged, ignored as you are day in and night out excessively civilly harrassed by this HORRIBLE HORROR company. Still never a.day. or. Night. With ability to keep a call from dropping, and cannot give you enough warning that not ever ONCE have I ever called 611 and gotten anyplace in America. If you cannot decipher accents and that " who cares I'm paid in my country, I could care less about you in yours bad sadly detached, totally clueless to technology, no- serving service...then be forever warned, TMobile is ALL outsourced, and NOT going to change nor help ONE TINY aspect. In fact, trying to just get the hateful commercial annoyance texts to stop a representative, first changed my own password on her end, and woops she realized what mistake she'd done, left it!!!!! And transferred my call to a recording, so then I had a password reset I've not authorized and had NO IDEA what it was!!! Try fixing THAT!!! This is the bumbling, meddling, inappropriate, bizarrely ignorant, employee level of TMobile 611. And then it took no jive, 68 minutes for another supervisor to repair her mistake, and still NOT shut off the TMobile ads texts!!! You will have SO MUCH STRESS from this Hideous phone company!!! Alondra was very helpful she seemed to be very attentive and was very patient. I am only giving this review 3 stars because they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock and the demo they had wasn't even on display in fact it wasn't even charged so I wasn't able to browse thru the phone. But still it did feel like they were trying to assist me because one of her colleagues called other stores to see if they had the phone I wanted in stock. read more

A couple of weeks ago, I went into this store for information about a new phone, deals and options, and transferring from another carrier. Andres answered all my questions and was cheerful and informative. Today I returned with a new phone, and he cheerfully did everything for me - set up a new account, gave me all info and options, and answered more questions. He also painstakingly put on my screen protector and went above and beyond to get my personal data and apps transferred to my new phone. I couldn't have had a better experience. read more

Christian works there he was so helpful, making a phone call to apple because my password was not working with my iPhone 5, my decision was to leave AT&T after 40 years because of there options when it comes to plans T-Mobile is the place for me. Was having difficulty with my samsung galaxy. I brought it into the store and the store manager, Michael, was extremely helpful. After a few minutes of discussing the issues I was having and troubleshooting he pointed out that an application I recently downloaded was the root of my problems. Went ahead and uninstalled the app and my phone was working like new. The store itself was extremely clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone I know. read more
