While I'm not necessarily recommending the parent company in general, if you happen to be with them, like we have for many years, you can't beat this nice small store in Marina. I had a mishap that was caused by another Verizon store while I was relaxing in my backyard.. and my phone was magically deactivated. I went to my trusty Marina store, and though the ordeal didn't end there by far, local representatives Sergio and Kyle know their stuff, and do everything they can do on their end. Sergio helped me through this one, and I have nothing but great things to say about him. I spoke with Kyle some, and know that he is highly trained, and cares about customers like Sergio. So if you have to go, I strongly suggest you go to Marina. read more

I came in yesterday to upgrade my phone and transfer my plan over from spectrum to Verizon. Michael G helped me out and completely messed everything up. I didn't leave with a new phone and my current phone had lost all service afterwards. I came in today and Sergio helped me out greatly. Apparently this is not Michael's first time botching someone's phone, and of course yesterday was his last day at the Marina location. He seemed more eager to make a sale than do his job correctly. Jose was an amazing person to deal with . I was told to try the marina location for my customer service needs and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. I arrived at the store 40 minutes before closing and wanted to upgrade to a new phone. Jose was very patient and considerate and didn't rush me during my upgrade purchase. I had just gotten off work and didn't realize the time they close. Most people would have been quick to rush the sale so they could close the store , Jose was the opposite of this. The fact that I came literally before they close and so close to Christmas and he was still so patient and kind. They are scammers! Came in to pick up my iphone max on the release date. They sold me so many things, which they told me was "included/apart of a "bundle"". Fabiola did not inform me that she was going to be charging for a 50$ screen protector, $50 dollar case, and a $40 car charger. They specially asked me if I wanted a car charger and I said no. Ironically, I found the car charger in the bag the next day. This isn't okay and you guys need to retrain your staff because this isn't right. Not everyone has the money to purchase things like this and it's only fair to at least warn what you're charging them for. Another thing, looking at my first statement here, I've realized they charged me an additional $30 upgrade fee (Which again, I was not notified about). AND they added insurance when I told them no. I'm unhappy and recommend anyone coming to this location. They're fraud. read more

Although I was the only customer in store, "manager" was repeatedly distracted by her Google music and kept yelling at it to switch songs. This was during conversation where I had just told her my spouse recently died and I needed to change account info. I left dismayed and saddened, and fortunately got very good service with corporate over the phone. The store person was the only one there, and told me she was the manager. Yikes--can't imagine they do well. It's a shame, because we had previously had a great experience with prior employees. I will never return to this particular retailer. read more

This store is an authorized retailer and they will NOT help with your Verizon bill. Instead they will try to sell you overpriced items and make it sound like they are giving you a "deal". I went to the store last Saturday and talked to the salesperson (Javier). I wanted a wireless device to connect my macbook pro. I also wanted to upgrade my phone so I talked to him about that. He offered a screen, a phone case and a wireless charger and said he was giving me a "deal". I was charged $300 dollars that day and wasnt given a receipt. I went back yesterday to get a receipt since nothing that I paid for was showing up on my Verizon bill. The receipt showed two charges of "set up and go" of $20 dollars (dont know what that was), a phone case for $35, a wireless charger for $40, a phone screen for $65 which was way overpriced and tax fees. The wireless device and phone were added to the plan but no payments made towards those devices from the $300 dollar charges. I wanted to exchange the phone for a smaller one, so I tried to return everything except the devices. Javier would not refund the phone case I returned or explain the extra charges from the day before. Instead I was given the "runaround" he kept repeating he had helped me and given me a "deal" and he was getting in trouble for all this "help". The fact is he did not give me a receipt or explain the charges the day before, it was unclear that I wasnt making any payments toward the Verizon bill. Instead I was sold items way overpriced, spent hours going there waiting in line to just be given the runaround when trying to get a refund the next day. The store policy should be a refund if the item is returned within 14 days. Also, there should be a receipt given the same day (if not printed it should be emailed). And there needs to be a clear understanding of charges up front. Too many irregularities in this experience, I would not recommend going there. I will be contacting Verizon about this and posting this on Better Business Bureau. The sales practices are almost a scam and they do not do refunds or give receipts. read more

Had to go back on Wednesday to get my phone unlocked. The agent was very patient with me, and he unlock my phone, and got it working back again. so I will give a better rating, But seriously I have a disability, and it is not comfortable to sit in those chairs if you have to stay there for hours, so I brought my own folding chair. This. time I was there for maybe an hour and a half, so if anybody read this review, and if you walking with a cane or have a problem with sitting on high chairs, bring your own chair. you will be there for a while, and bring your patience, also and maybe something to eat. Yelp Members, I have been coming here for quite sometime now and I have to say that I'm always taken care of. A part from the network service (which is great of course) and the reasonable plans, the one thing people forget to notice is the person to person interactions. I've been to places in the past where things are taken lightly and I am treated like a nuisance, but the staff at this location is AMAZING. I'm not the type of person to name drop, but I have to give credit where it's due and Faviola is straight up, honest, and fun manager. Great service, great workers and they don't do half ass things. I hope this is the Verizon in the shopping center in Marina. I had the worst experience there . There was one person working, no excuse me he was in the shop and clearly being paid way to much,. I asked simple questions of service. I needed assistant activating a phone, he said they dont do that in the store, he couldnt help transfering contact numbers and few other basic question. I asked why are you open if you can do nothing, he threatened to throw me out. Good at selling new phones, terrible when it comes to solving problems. My iPhone 8 Plus died after I had it for about 9 months. Took it into Verizon (mind you, I'm a good customer of 16 years) and was told they could do nothing for me...I needed to take it to the Apple Store. The woman at the Apple Store was so nice and knowledgeable and determined that the logic board was bad. She swapped it out for a new phone and helped me set it up. Even though I purchased the phone from Verizon, not Apple! Note to Verizon management: You would do your reputation and your brand WONDERS if you were a service company as well as a sales company. Swap out the damn phones, for Pete's sake, and deal with Apple yourselves regarding warranty returns. Don't send your customers (especially long-term customers who pay on time) on a wild goose chase all over town. From now on I'll only buy iPhones directly from Apple, without a contract. read more

Got the runaround from these clowns. Manager said he'd ordered us 2 gold IPhone 7 and to pick them up 5 days later. We returned 5 days later at the time of our appointment and phones had not arrived yet. Was told to come back. We returned 3 days later (total of over a week now) and were told the phones had come in but another sales person must have sold them to someone else. Management didn't offer to reorder our new phones or a solution. Mind you the iPhone 7 has been out for 6 months and in stock everywhere. Not sure how a Verizon store that can't get you 2 iPhones is going to stay in business. The management is dirty and will tell you lies, don't trust them or allow them to waste your time. Went in yesterday morning around 10:30am because my s7 was locked up and I was greeted by Johnathan who then called over Mahardi for a second opinion to look at my phone, it was determined that it was time for an upgrade so I decided to upgrade mine and my wife's phone. Johnathan took his time and showed me the different options and showing me what he was using. I decided that I would get the new Google Pixel 3XL. Unfortunately they didn't have 2 of these in stock so Johnathan called around and secured 2 from another store and said he would go pick them up and give me a call when he had them at the store In the meantime Marhadi was able to get my Samsung working. About an hour after I got back home I got a call from Johnathan letting me know the phones were in. When we went to get them I'm pretty sure Johnathan was on lunch but helped us anyway. He and Mardihi helped getting the new phones activated, then Johnathan took good care of us and set us up with all the accessories we needed. He took great care in getting maximum value for our trade ins and made sure we got all of the discounts possible. Afterward he installed the screen protectors and cases for us as well as making sure all of our warranties were registered on line before we left. Friendly service and their staff knows all their products well. They can easily identify a problem and give you solutions you can do on your own to save money or opt to have them fix it for a fee. The store is well cleaned and pretty open to not feel cluttered. It's in a nice area of marina near other stores and restaurants so you can easily fit a visit to Verizon into your daily errands. Only way I can find a downside is limitations employees have with customers. There have been times where one customer will hold up an employee for hours over trivial questions and tasks and back and forth decisions forcing other customers to wait. If that is the case the music and tables and chairs for you to wait on have perfect. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would gladly drive an additional 6 miles to go to the Verizon in Sand City. The Marina Verizon staff either is uneducated in thier jobs or have zero care for customer service. I needed to have information transferred from my old phone to my new phone and the female manager ( I did not catch her name) was going to charge me for it! I asked how I can do it at home for free and she was unwilling to help me or explain how to do it. The moment I decided I wasn't paying for them to do it.... she decided she didn't need to help me. I was the only customer in the building With two Verizon staff there, so I was blown away that no one could take the time to help me unless I gave them money. I have gone in three times and each visit has been the worst costumer service. I pay enough money each month for my phone service, so when I take the time to go there and ask for support or help they should provide service without an additional fee! read more
