These workers are fantastic. The manager and assistant manager are thoughtful and very helpful. I came here to find out why my fold 3 screen wasn't working. They trouble shooted my phone and found out it was a software issue, so they informed me to call the customer care number. I called them, and we trouble shot for an hour, and they informed me they would do a replacement and send it back to this location. I received my phone 1 day later, they transferred all my info, and I took my new phone home this same day. This was great. Very helpful location. read more

I accompanied a friend who had just arrived at O'Hare from Asia, to get a prepaid SIM card at this store in the Fashion Outlets mall. Only 2 sales people were manning the shop, a young woman who didn't know much, and a young man who was the technically savvy one. It took forever to get our simple task done because the salesman kept getting distracted by the customers attended to by the saleswoman, answering their questions or making suggestions. We will not go back to that shop in the future! read more

I went to the store to ask for information regarding my phone bill. The employees had set a cord extension to prevent customers to walk into the store. They asked me questions at the door and never removed the extension for me to walk into the store. There were 2 associates playing on their phone with no customers inside. After finding out there were issues with my account, and I'd been overpaying for months, I walked into the T-Mobile retail store in Rosemont expecting to resolve some of my problems. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager, Tom, was the one who very poorly handled my experience at the store. After I calmly/politely explained what was going on and told him what I was looking to accomplish, he proceeded to insinuate that I might be attempting to engage in insurance fraud by trying to add "Jump" to my account. He seemed to not be able to move off of the topic of insurance, even after I told him that I fully understood how insurance worked and that I didn't need to be lectured on laws. After re-clarifying my intentions on coming into the store Tom repeated that he was only doing his job and there was nothing that he could do or would do to help me out. I was completely appalled to be speaking to manager with the level of professionalism of a high school student. I was naturally incensed and told him that if he would not be cooperative or helpful to me, I would be looking to switch to another mobile carrier. His ungrateful and rude response was, "That's fine by me." At this point of having been jerked around and having been spoken to in an obscenely condescending manner repeatedly, I told him to please have a good day and walked out of the store with absolutely nothing accomplished. T-Mobile, please employ more competent and tactful staff at your retail stores. read more

I had a fine experience dealing with our phone issues, although the explanations were not super clear. The problem came with the customer service that followed after we left. I left my driver's license there. They took it to process my phone plan. I take partial blame for forgetting it. The issue though, is that I called at last five times about the license: I was told twice that they had it there, and would send it to me at my home address. They never did, and when I called back about a week later to follow up, they claimed to not know anything about it. Not only is that poor customer service, but it's also a security risk for the customer. Please address these kinds of matters with your staff. read more

Came to Tmobile for the price but what I got when I walked in was so much more. It was what i was missing from my old phone provider. These guys are A+ in my book. Steve the manager is awesome and it shows when he passed me to Jose. The apple of great customer service doesn't fall far from the tree. These guys are awesome. This T-Mobile store needs to train employees not to overcharge their consumers and when these employees are confronted with facts not to threaten to call security on them. Also, teaching them that apology goes a long way would be helpful. On Sunday we've purchased an iPhone at this store. I asked how much is the case and screen for the phone and PATRICIA (a store employee who was assisting us with a purchase) said that it was FREE. I asked again and she said that when we buy a phone we get it for FREE as a part of the package and we only have to pay taxes on it. Since T-Mobile offers installments with 0% I asked her about that and Patricia told us that we have to pay the tax and $20 service fee and the rest will be paid in installments. As we were in a hurry to catch a plane, I checked the amount of tax which was correct so we've paid it and left the store. My son unpacked the case and the screen - saying how nice it was to get it for free - put all parts together and he took the phone with him back to college. Later that day I looked at the receipt and found out that PATRICIA in fact DID charge us for both the case and the screen. There was a line on the receipt: Installment Purchases Total and it included the price of the phone, case, and the screen. I checked my T-mobile account on-line and in installment amounts there is a separated line for phone, case, and screen. So the items were not free after all. I called the store and tried to explain the problem but was told that I should stop by and see the manager. I did. Today I walked into the store and asked for manager who wasn't there unfortunately. But Patricia and another worker was there. So I asked Patricia why she charged us for something that she told us was free and she denied it. When asked for explanation of the receipt she just kept saying that it was free and she didn't charge me $80 for the case and the screen. She was right - the amount was $79.98 - but you get the drift - when confronted with the problem she just kept denying and didn't even try to look at the receipt. Her co-worker took over and tried to explain and at least she looked at the receipt. She mentioned some type of credit but still couldn't tell me why the installment amount included the cost of the case and the screen. She was about to give me the name and schedule of the store manager when PATRICIA who meantime was talking to another customer and, I guess, couldn't concentrate on the issue, decided to blame me for it. She told me: "M'am, I cannot talk to my customer, I have to talk to her over you." I stated that I'm also a customer. I asked if maybe she wants to move or offer to move further. At that point Patricia told me that she has TO CALL SECURITY because I'm disparaging the store and she made a great show of picking up the phone and looking for a number. The co-worker quickly just told me to come back when the manager is present and gave me his name and number. And PATRICIA put down the phone and started to talk to her client. I guess, after all, she didn't feel threatened. But I did - a CUSTOMER who walks INTO THE STORE where SHE MADE A SUBSTANTIAL PURCHASE tries to get an EXPLANATION of charges and GETS THREATENED WITH a CALL TO MALL SECURITY? And the threat comes from an employee of T-Mobile, who made a mistake while selling a phone package to a customer, when confronted with the issue didn't want to explain (or didn't know how to), never uttered one word of apology for creating the problem, and because she became discomposed by my presence she decides to get rid of me by threatening to call security? And not one of the employees I talked to offered any type of apology. I will try to call the manager and talk to him about the issue. But I won't be stopping by the store - not when an incompetent employee feels that she can call security when confronted with a problem she cannot handle. read more

Terrible customer service. The first time we went, the two employees working fought over who got to have our sale and then after bickering back and forth they made us choose which one we wanted, it was beyond uncomfortable. Then the sales person we went with, gave us this whole speech on how I was eligible for free beats due to the loyal customer package. Well, we later found out that this does not exist. When we went back to the store the second time to confront him he had a whole other story. A sales person at a different location explained that this guy is clearly scamming people in order to receive a commission because they receive a way larger commission on accessories over phones. Overall, there is bad and dishonest business occurring at this location and I would not suggest anyone going there. read more
