If your looking to get new phones they have the deals and are willing to work with you and your budget. They got promotions right now that are soo affordable I'm loving it. I had a family plan with three lines and was in the store for a question when the guy told me there is family and friend promo to add additional two lines for free, i asked can i cancel one of my paid line and get the promo for two, he said absolutely yes. Again i asked, should i cancel my line after i get the promo or do it beforehand, he said it might be a mixup if you cancel first, so i got the promotion... after paying almost 50$ for sim cards and almost 6$ every month for 4 month for free!!!! lines, the highest rank tmobile supervisor that i could get on the phone told me... guess what ??? If they cancel any lines after promotion, the promotion will be gone and i got misled by the store and they cant do anything about it. read more

First off I am glad that I switched from Sprint to Tmobile but today I received the worst customer service from Alex. I wanted to trade in my Mom's phone and finish her port in but this guy obviously didn't know what he was doing. He told me that it was not worth it me moving from sprint to Tmobile, second he didn't know that you can use your phone as credit to pay for the new phones. Second he thought that it would be wise to tell me that I still had to pay. Luckily I knew more than him. I told him that he was not professional and sucked as a salesperson. Kimberly is the most condescending person EVER! It was like pulling strings trying to BUY a new iPhone 10X Max from her. I only dealt with it because I needed the phone that day. The Original person LEFT while I was on the phone with customer service about if they were going to run my credit or not in which they said they wouldn't and they DID. Anyway....her attitude is HORRIBLE and I mean HORRIBLE. She was acting as if I was there wasting her time but spending $600 at the same time. . TWICE she was this way. I felt like we were in a not likely situation. The guy was simply unhappy and lacks customer service standards. So I end up doing everything online and by phone. 2nd time I was referred by Topanga and Irwin office to get phone replacementat this location and the same heavy guy same experience, this time he said told us that they did not have the loaner phone that the other store called for. Will definitely ask or look for Ms. Simone during my next visit to the T-Mobile Store! I have remained a T-Mobile costumer for quiet a while now. Recently I was going through problems regarding my plan, had been to different T-Mobile locations but the costumer service at the T-Mobile store located in West field Topanga was the best. All the credit goes to Ms Simone ( Retail Store Associate) . She was very patient and carefully guided us through every step of the problem along with which she did her best to answer all of my questions.Not to mention that, I had someone come along with me and she was quite rude to Ms. Simone but Ms. Simone had a big smile on her face and worked with her in a calm manner. In conclusion, she offered the best costumer service to her costumer and was the most patient person among-st the ones that I had ever witnessed in any T-Mobile costumer service department. My best advice if YOU HAVE tmobile is to purchase it from a different retail store other than this one. To make my long story short, i purchased a phone from this branch which i paid off and after 1 year and a 1/2 they say i still owe them money. I've contacted various customer care departments and there still unable to recieve confirmation of a completed payment. They do not want to bargin with me and knock this debt off (over 50.00, come on seriously the phone cost 350, which i paid off but supposedly i still owe 50 more lol)This branch does not keep good records, they disguard them 3 months after you purchase anything from this store. And are unable to produce reciepts from the coorporate office after that time period, which happened in my case. I wish i read the ratings but, because of this situation im going to switch carries after im done paying what i supposedly owe. read more

I had amazing customer service from Jocelyn & Cesar at this location. We left T-Mobile to try out Sprint and realized we made a mistake. When we came in to the store to switch our service back to T-Mobile we were greeted as immediately helped. Jocelyn & Cesar pulled out all the stops to make sure we had phones to use while we sorted out our situation with Sprint. Do not let a girl named Natalia N help you, she doesn't know what she's talking about. She sold me 2 phones she apparently wasn't even supposed to sell to me because I'm not on the account. Natalia also told me both phones are VR headset compatible, THEY ARE NOT, she doesn't know they must have an internal gyroscope. When I complained and wanted to exchange them...,the manager CESAR B, not only said he didn't think Natalia made these statements, but that he didn't believe me. I asked what to do with the new phones, throw away??? Cesar said "do whatever you want to I don't care" When I told him I was going to change carriers Cesar B said "Who cares?" I even asked, "what are my options and how can you help me work something out to satisfaction?" My cell phone broke and was unusuable. I pay every month for insurance and have a $100 dollar deductible. I went into the store to exchange my phone, it was urgent and I need my phone for work. When I got to the store the man behind the counter kept on telling me that he would not help me and that I needed to call the claims line. This whole Note 7 fiasco kills, me. When i came in to turn it in, two of the staff members helped me out tremendously.Kudos to Hina and Richard for the excellent customer service! They went as quick as they could and had my phone and all my accessories swapped out in a moments notice. There are tons of t-mobile stores to choose from but this staff was great. I've worked retail management for years and it's refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of. For some of the negative reviews on here, these tips may make your trip here more enjoyable. 1. Location, expect to wait, this location is at a mall. It has higher client traffic.... deal with it 2. Some situations are truly beyond their control, I suggest calling t-mobile before heading to any store to see if the issue has to be resolved at a retail location (save yourself a trip) 3. Many kiosk or companies like these don't do much cash retail.. (think about how much most phones cost, we don't carry that in cash usually) so if you need to return something, don't be shocked if they have a cash return limit/alternative. read more

This is the T-mobile located on the second floor of the Topanga Westfield Mall. It's a fantastic mall with great stores except this one. T-mobile recently won, yet again, the JD Powers best customer service. That's what corporate definitely likes to promote but not all stores have equal amount of customer service. This is why I started writing reviews about mobile stores so others can benefit from my experience. This one gets the lowest stars due to the manager Jay. I went in to the T-mobile store do a phone exchange as I found issues with my phone within the 30 day period. I went to the first guy who helped me and he said he had to get the manager. The manager was this guy named Jay. As I stood with the first guy in his register, Jay took my receipt and moved over to another register. As Jay was doing this the guy who was helping me just walked away to help out another customer. So logically I moved over to Jay's register. As I stood in front of his register, he slowly stopped typing and looked up at me and said "why are you hovering over me?" and he just stared. I was shocked. That is my receipt and with his other employee walking I was thinking this is what was going on. but no. I said your other guy walked away and i tried to explain to him and he just stared at me and repeated "why are you hovering over me?" this is the first time i've seen this fool. it was amazingly rude and just amazing. i can't explain how shocked I was. I was so pissed I picked up the phone and called 611 to get t-mobile corporate. I reported this case to the corporate head quarters and I hope he doesn't continue to work there. I mean what is up with this guy. I had to drive to another t-mobile dealer where the service was as per usual excellent and quick. i would not visit this t-mobile again. at least not until that guy is gone. read more

I was asked if I needed help but when I told him the issue I was having he said "take out your phone and call customer service". I did so and he just sat there watching me. I had visited this store several times during several months and each time my experience was worse than the previous time. I had a representative (Al) basically calling me a liar when I had informed him about what a Telephone Representative from T-mobile had informed me (which of course he was wrong about as I called T-mobile back office again and verified the same information). In what customer service universe would a representative call you a liar? T-mobile as a carrier is good. This location has terrible customer service. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes just to talk to a sales associate, Christian, and another associate there whom Christian referred to as the manager, both literally LIED TO ME about the pricing and available options for their phone plans. **Begin long review (skip to bottom for abbreviated version)** I had done my research before going in to the store so I knew what I wanted, but since I wanted to port over my phone number from another carrier I figured I would go in to the store so I could get the phone and have everything set up immediately without having to wait for a phone to be shipped to me if I ordered it online. When I finally got done waiting and was able to talk to someone, I told their sales associate, Christian that I wanted to sign up for a new family plan. He immediately started writing very large dollar amounts on a post it note and telling me how much money he was going to save me for signing up today with whatever the top of the line monthly plan with all the bells and whistles was. I told him that was more than what I'm already paying with my other carrier, and that I wanted to sign up for the much cheaper basic family plan I had seen online. He told me that I couldn't use that plan with a smart phone. I said "Really? because I just went through the motions of picking out the phone I want, with that plan online." At which point he called his manager over and said "you can't put a smart phone on the basic plan, right?" And the manager who had overheard the whole conversation said something about how it would let you get to the very end of the process online and then give you an error for that plan and phone. The whole thing felt a little off, plus I wasn't going to sign up for the plan they were touting if it was more expensive than what I was already paying. When I got home I decided to try to sign up for the basic plan I had wanted in the first place, with the purchase of two brand new LG G4s and port my number over from Verizon. All of which I did successfully with no problem. I've had the phone and T-mobile for about a month now and so far it's decent. With the price of the phone broken down monthly for 2 years I'm paying about the same total monthly that I was for verizon, but now I have a brand new phone without having to up my Verizon contract for two more years and pay them the $200+ to upgrade. So far I'm happy with T-mobile's cell service and online/phone based customer service that got my number ported over for me without much of an issue (ordering the phone online and porting my phone number over did leave me without cell service for about a day which was really not a big deal). **Begin short review Bottom line is I walked into this store ready to sign up a new family plan and buy two new phones and they literally would not let me buy the products and services I wanted that I had already looked up online. Instead they told me they only offered a service option that was much more expensive than what I was currently paying and offered a whole bunch of additional services that I didn't want or need. I went home and bought exactly what I wanted online through T-mobile's website and except for a day with no cell service while I waited for the phones to come in the mail, that experience was great. read more

When I first came into the store, waiting only took a few minutes and Lucy the store associate called us over. She was very nice, chatted with us about our common interests, and genuinely wanted to have a conversation with us while she assisted us. We were looking to sign up as new T-Mobile customers. She answered every single question we had very thoroughly. I was very relieved that we didn't have to pay a deposit after credit check was run. The pricing was very affordable compared to Verizon. Who can go wrong with unlimited talk, text, and 4G data? Plus I was luckily able to trade in my ratty ratty iPhone 5 and that brought the price down a little. The only downside to our visit is they didn't carry iPhone 6+ 128GB in store, so we have to wait for it be shipped to our home address. Luckily I bought a 64GB in store so I do not have to wait. If I am in the area, I will definitely come back for my purchasing and service needs! read more

This review is for Alan. I had been contacting T-Mobile for several days over the phone trying to get my phone unlocked and I was transferred several times to different people and departments within the company. I was even passed along to applecare to get this issue fixed. In this time , I followed every instruction I was given and erased and restored my phone numerous times to no avail. I was beyond fed up being passed back and forth between these so-called "professionals" who's only skill seemed to be to apologize and to press the transfer button with an obvious lack of care. I finally decided to just go to the store and was at the brink of cancelling my service with this company. Luckily I was greeted by Alan who took his time to listen to my story and frustrations and was able to find a solution within just 10 minutes! He was very professional and actually seemed to genuinely care and be knowledgeable about his job.
