I went in three days ago to upgrade my phone but could not because I forgot my ID. That is my bad. I asked the rep to save me a model A17 on the side and i would be back and he told me not to worry"we have plenty". Went today and patiently waited for my turn and was told sold out! So while I talked to the rep, a young lady that I believe was the honcho on duty, offered to pick one up at a nearby store for. I agreed and walked around the mall for like 35 minutes wasting time. I come back to the store and they tell me so sorry but we are not going to be able to pick up the phone because they had two employees call out all of a suden. When I called last Friday and spoke to a young woman in the Phillipines, from Tmobile, she assured me there was no upgrade fee and that I could use the same sim card. I considered a lower grade phone and they wanted to charge me an upgrade fee even after I was specifically advised that there is no other fee but taxes which I understand. Been with tmobile and my dads phone for over years but am looking to jump ship even if i have to pay more with Verizon. It would have been so ESy to call me when I was wandering around the mall killing time and just let me know thet they arent going to get my phone, that is really what bites. Ceasar was the first person to help us. so incredibly patient with my mom, who is often ignored because she is a senior. we switched carriers that first day. I was so blown away by his patience, kindness and professionalism that I would poach him if I had a company and could hire someone. Cam was our second T mobile expert that helped us on our return visit, just as patient, thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable. We didnt end up making any purchases that day, but their customer service was impeccable, so much so, that I now want to start a company and recruit folks from TMobile to build my own team, for something, anything, just based on their customer service. Patient, kind, friendly, sharp and knowledgeable. If they don't know something about your needs, they will find the answer for you. Came in to the store Aug 20, 2020 looking to switch over from sprint. At the time the were trying to push the BOGO deal on a Samsung S20+ and decided to proceed with making the switch. I attempted to double check with them if this promo was still going on as they were going over the contract with me it clearly stated I was going to be charged for the both phones. They repeatedly mentioned it would not show up in the contract as it was coming from t-mobile and I would just need to 'Take their word' I am not 5 months in and have has to call in to t-mobile every month to explain this situation and have the phone credited to my bill. I rarely give any businesses a one or two star review on yelp, but the experience I have had with the lack of customer service and the way it is set up now with the social distancing. My mom and I are sprint customers and T-Mobile recently bought Sprint, we wanted to come in and ask if we can get new phones at the store or we have to get a new phone plan. When we stepped into the store the employee was rude saying that the only one of us can come into the store. It was extremely rude! The guy could be nicer saying that the store is at capacity right now, can you wait outside? My mom said that we are Sprint customers and we are wondering if we can get our phones at the store. You can pre-order the new Iphone 6 at this location for this service. My only reason for stopping by was to check and see what features the new Iphone will have. Aside from that I kept it moving. Not a T Mobile fan. Too much spotty service for me. The plans seem decent but the number of towers and dropped calls is not something that draws me in as a customer. The staff here are nice enough but the service is something that I cannot except if I am making a commitment and investment with a company. If you are without a contract, I would highly suggest comparing prices and plans among the big networks before signing that BIG 2 year contract. I came to pay a bill and browse through phones. As an Android user for the last 7 years, I decided to switch to Apple as I recently bought a Macbook and wanted to consolidate my ecosystem. My original sales associate was super helpful in explaining the features and variations the iPhone comes in. He was not pushy at all and genuinely helpful. I was ready to buy if they had the iPhone I wanted in stock, but he directed me to another store at a nearby mall where I eventually made my purchase that same day. Minus 1 star because another sales associate came up and interrupted our conversation by condescendingly asking why I'm getting an Apple product and proceded to tell me Androids are better. This place has the worst customer service. Was helped by Malak and he just put his jacket on and left without saying anything to me. My phone had a budging bay and insurance sent me a new phone. Asked about transferring the data and info and he did something and the still waiting over an hour, no word no nothing. Has to flag down a rep, she said it would be an unknown time, that was 20 minutes ago. I haven't had dinner and am thinking I might be here after closing time. Just give me the keys, I'll lock up the place. Flagged down another rep and he connected cable to cable for the transfer and I was done in 15 minutes. If I was still on WiFi transfer, I'll still be there when the place opened. The young lady who is store manager is nice, but your are only as good as the crew you are dealt with. read more

Since October 2016 when we availed this service, every month is waste of time calling customer care to credit and discredit the charge on the phone unit that they kept showing in the vill as well as the line service of 10.42 dollars!! i don't understand the logic of confusing consumers to make this free phone appear on your bill every month when they verbally explained with all smile and upselling this promo 7months agooo. even went to the CEO to resolve the issue and they credited last month but come May, same problem.. welcome AT&T!!! after 8 yrs of T mobile, this is the worst, can't even make effort to compensate all delays read more

Martin the store manager probably gave me the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I recently went to the Stonestown location and they were able to help with the situation with no issues. Martin did not want to contact customer care for us even though when we called customer care they told us that any store would be able to help with our issue with activation and pin. He insisted that we would have to sit in store for 45 minutes on the phone and do it ourselves. If you hate your job, find something else. Not sure what kind of store manager Martin is but don't give him any commission. Go to the Stonestown location. They will help you without hesitation even if there's a line and it only took 15 minutes. read more

I was here yesterday, asking about upgrading the phone. The rep was quite rude and unprofessional. He told me if I bought the phone at apple store then I would not have to pay $40 upgrade fee. Not sure about the differences so I asked him: " if that is the case, then why I have to come to T mobile?". Instead of explaining to me that many people are not be able to pay in full, they have to pay for the phone in 24 months and that is when the $40 upgrade fee hits in, he told me" I didn't ask you to come here, you came here by yourself with very unfriendly tone.." . I don't think T mobile train their employees that way and I don't think he has right set of skills or personality for the job.. he just drives customers away with that tone and behavior. read more

I have the utmost praise for Akmal and Mahmoud. I had one of the worst days today and the icing on the cake was that my cell service went out unexpectedly so I couldn't fix anything by phone. At 7:20 I realized that their store was the only one in the area still open and I raced over. They had customers waiting but let me in just a few minute fire closing time and patiently attended to me. The fixed my difficult problem with grace (when the Et could easily have given up and told me to come back). I'm incredibly grateful for the fact that they stayed overtime by over half an hour to help and would recommend their services to anyone. read more

She is Hispanic in her early 30s First visit in 2016: For jump on demand, you can jump onto another phone and continue leasing, as long as your previous phone is in mint and working condition. Store manager wanted to me to pay off the remaining balance on my bill before jumping to another phone which is from the LG v10 to G6. When i pay the remaining balance my LG v10, that means I have purchased the v10 out right. She took my LG v10 too. Essentially, she pretty much swindled me and have me start a new lease with the G6. I was still new and naive to jump on demand until I realized what happened. 2nd visit today, 8/8/2018: I know what I am getting into now. Called corporate to make sure the note 8, is $0 down and a few dollars more to my bill. This is ok with me. Stopped by and asked if they had the Note 8. That same store manage was still working there. She immediately said no without even checking. I said well can you help me check the local tmobile stores if they had it. She said immediately said no they dont have it, without even checking!!! I walked out mad and helped myself calling one of the local tmobile store. Guess what, local tmobile stores do have some!. I walked back in there and thanked her for the worse customer service. She even dared to ask me which store I called and added the note 8 is a great phone. What a joke this place is! read more

My wife went into this t mobile location to get information about unlocking our iPhone 10 for a trip to Europe after 2.5 years of leasing it, she was charged $600 for the phone, after paying off the phone, when a used iPhone 10 has a $250 value only. Go back in to get a refund and return the unlock phone or change that plan, refuse to get a refund. Either t mobile policy is to charging its customers ridiculous charges or this location did something wrong, planning to switch all my 3 lines to Verizon and get a brand new iPhone for free, save your time and do the same thing! read more

This is store might have the nicest guy around. I was with sprint for a long time. I had some billing issues when i stop by this store a rude guy here told me he couldn't do anything about it and i had to call the customer service line. The next day i decides to stop by hoping the same rude guy from the day before wasn't there for my luck this gentleman larry told me he was going to try his best to help me with any question i had. I ended purchasing a new iphone 12 for my mother and larry was so helpful with every detail. Good morning, I've been a T-mobile customer for close to 20-years now. My overall experience with the company has been very good. Unfortunately, their popularity, growth and success over the past 5-years has caused them to devalue their customers when providing timely and quality customer service. Unfortunately, calling or visiting t-mobile... your standard wait time is approximately 1-hr. or longer. Depending on the store, you may be greeted and given an approximate wait time...unfortunately, I have enter more shops where this is not the protocol. The amount of staff in the shop is never enough to assist the volume of customers. Some staff member have even retreated to the back room to avoid assisting customers (Not on a lunch break according to their co-workers). The majority of t-mobile customers work therefore only having their lunch break to resolve the issue. Driving to a t-mobile shop or calling t-mobile only to experience long wait times that exceeds their lunch breaks. Not valuing customer time is a definite disconnect between t-mobile and their customers. I only wrote this review because of a negative experience between t-mobile customer service and a child. I was in the t-mobile shop and had been waiting for 17 minutes when a grandmother and her granddaughter entered. 20-minutes later the child stated she really had to use the bathroom. T-mobile store did not have a public bathroom and the staff did not offer the private bathroom to the child. 5-minutes later the child had an accident. Please note that going on 40-minutes I was still waiting to be assisted but became so disguested with the lack of assistance for this child that I had to walk out before unprofessionally verbalizing my anger. I made a visit to this Tmobile branch on Thursday, Sept 15th, 2017 by noon. I went there to ask for my Mom's phone which is prepaid phone. I made a payment Online through Tmobile and her account shows as not active. The two guys does not help me out throughly and asking me questions as if I made a payment through wrong portal. This makes customers feel very stressful. You still need to help even though you do not get commission. read more

I closed my account, they made me over-pay and told me I would receive a refund once everything cleared. It has been almost 2 years and after several phone calls of being on hold for longer than an hour and assurances that I would receive a check in 6-8 weeks, I have not received anything. They send me monthly statements showing a credit but no refund to date. This is the worst service I have ever dealt with.
