The carry used phones for the majority of the providers in addition to being a Cricket, T-Mobile, and Verizon authorized dealer. My mom had recently told me that her cell phone kept powering off for no apparent reason. I started researching and looking for her replacement phone. I didn't want to renew her contract so I checked CL, and a few local stores for suitable hardware. I'll explain that my mom needs the most basic of cell phones. On a recent visit, I viewed AT&T phones and the agent explained that some were used while others on a certain shelf were new. I found what I thought was a good fit for my mom and asked to examine the phone. I picked from the "new phone shelf". The Nokia looked like a winner; but I noticed this new phone had a gash in the back? A "New" phone to me comes with the original box, manual, accessories, and plastic wrapped everything. I ended up purchasing the phone with a discount off asking price. The agent presented the phone to me in a generic box with the OEM phone charger. No manual, but the earbuds were there. When I say generic box, it's an aftermarket mobile phone box with some girls giggling staring at a Motorola Razr. The agent as well as the customers tolerated a tired cranky little Rooster and even gave him a dummy phone to keep. While I don't appreciate them passing off used phones as new; we are at this point satisfied with the purchase. The phone as of right now is traveling thru New Mexico without issue. Here's a three star nod with some advice to pay attention what you get.

It was as if we were soul sisters, just laughing about back home. She made the long process very short. She was invaluable. Make sure to ask for her! Also, this was the best part. The phone I originally wanted was not available, and I was okay with that. However, right before I checked out, with 5 minutes to go before closing, her coworker Noah came out, saying their truck of shipping had just arrived and brought the phone I wanted. I was soooo Happy! Teamwork and great customer service at this location! Don't walk.. RUN!! Deals, Great customer service& smooth process

When we asked why the service barely works across half of Austin, they told us it's because we're on the "basic" plan and need to upgrade to something more expensive. What does that even mean? You either have coverage or you don't, and according to their own map, the area we live in (just 10 minutes from this store) should have great reception. But we barely get any signal. The staff also don't seem to care. You get added to some kind of electronic waitlist, and then they just wander around while you sit there for 30 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. The second time we came in, we had zero service on our phone. They ended up replacing the SIM card just to get it working again. We're beyond disappointed with both the service and the network quality. They even told us there are "too many users in the area" and "not enough towers", which sounds more like an excuse to push people into overpriced plans. On top of that, when you buy a phone, they try to sneak in unnecessary protection plans without fully explaining what they are. Honestly, Verizon feels more like a scam than a phone company at this point. We're switching providers -- we're done.
