I went to the store on 5/29/26. I explained to the lady (who had a piercing in her nose) that I needed to add a line to get another phone because mine was stolen and I have no insurance. She tried to add a line but was not successful, she then called the customer service and after 45 minutes and changing my plan to allow me to add a 7th line. What I wasn't told was that I was max out on my credit limit for financing phones and would have to pay close to $700.00 to pay a couple of lines off. So, after almost 2 hours in the store I walked away with nothing. I call T-Mobile on 6/2/26, I was able to add a line and only pay taxes on my phone. She also told me that their system does not show that I have a credit limit and not sure why the store told me that. Do not go to this store unless you have time to waste!! read more

Wow I couldn't believe the customer service. I wanted to get an Apple SE watch for my son for tracking and location awareness. The Tmobile representative told us no problem the family sharing would work on our phones. 3 hours later and speaking with tech services they couldn't figure it out and told us to come back the next day. We returned only to find out after 2 hours my son's phone was not compatible and maybe we should switch phones and have him use mine. Needless to say after 2 hours the family share would not allow setup as a family members without him having a data plan with a phone. Day 3 we returned to spend another 3 hours to see if we switched phones uploaded my data to the cloud and then down load to his phone they said it would work Needless to say my his phone would not accept my down load to an older OS. The only question I have is why didn't they check to see if both phones were compatible instead of wasting 8 hours of our time. I called and asked the manage to call me and no one called me. Located in Montgomery Mall, I went to this location of T-Mobile to switch over to their services. It was a long and complicated process and not very easy. Then, the staff member did not mention any SIM fee until the very end when it was too late. I did not appreciate this lack of customer service and transparency. I had hoped T-Mobile would be better but clearly American mobile phone companies are still the worst in the world and we have no choice but to give up and accept it. read more

I wont recommend this store, they try so hard to make you sign up their plans, promise conversion of the remaining credit on previous account to a new postpaid account, I got charged for I suppose to be charged, but never get the committed credit back. call the store multiple times, they just make it very very difficult for me, kept lying to me. stay away from this store. Service in the store is good, startlingly better than Verizon, a company I've come to dislike thoroughly over years of dealing with them. My transition to T-Mobile was handled perfectly by the store. So why one star? Recently T-Mobile has apparently decided to save money on customer support. If you call customer support, there's a one to one and a half hour wait to talk to someone! You get the old story "due to unexpected call volume"...baloney! They have years of records, and know just how many calls to expect at every hour of every day. That's just plain unacceptable, and is an example of a company saving money by not adequately staffing their support operation, because the simply don't care how they treat their customers. Verizon support is maddening, because their people have to do so much work, but at least you don't have to wait an hour and a half to talk to them. Until the customer support service improves, you should not under any circumstances get a T-Mobile phone. read more

I have been to this location a few times now for my wife's phone and the most recent trip was to get a new phone for myself. I was looking for the white Note 3. But the store only had the Note 3 in black. The salesperson and the store managers checked up the inventory at other local stores and even called a few stores to reserve a phone for me at a location that had one in stock! They did all the paperwork for me and all I had to do was drive to the other location and pickup my new phone. read more

My boyfriend and I went there months ago and our experience still gets talked about to this day which is why I feel the need to write this review. Our experience was horrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. My boyfriend goes to the T-Mobile stores every month to pay his bill with no problems and this is the first time that he has done it at this location. Boy did they give us a problem. The man pulled up his record and said that the phone that he has had for almost a year (that we bought at this location) was not on file under his account. So I told him that can't be right and I have the receipt to prove that we did get the phone at this location. The man had the nerve to say the receipt does not prove anything and will not work. He has to now file a report. This is insulting to us because now he is accusing us of "stealing" a phone that my boyfriend has had for again almost a year and was almost done paying off. I stood there and asked "why give us a receipt if it is not going to prove that we bought the phone here?" He had no answer for us as he is on the phone to report it. He just kept saying its the regulations. We had enough and ended up walking out. We called T-Mobile right after in front of the store and asked why the man was saying all that to us and T-Mobile said on our account it does state that my boyfriend is in the process of paying off the phone with only a couple installments left. I'm a new T-Mobile customer, just having switched over from Verizon a few days earlier at a T-Mobile store in Jupiter, FL. My first voicemail came through just yesterday and, as an iPhone user, I'm used to seeing my visual voicemail through the phone's native voicemail functionality. Instead, hitting the voicemail icon shunted me into the T-Mobile voicemail system. My online account indicated 'Unknown Phone', so I figured it'd be best to just to into the store and see if a setting was off somewhere. After explaining all of this to the rep I spoke with, he verified that my account wasn't showing the cellular device associated with my mobile number. I asked him to add it in, but he said that the information is read off the SIM card and it sometimes takes several WEEKS for the information to populate properly. Knowing full well that this couldn't possibly be right and after asking a few more questions (at which point it was obvious that the rep was disinterested), I got back in my car, went to the new T-Mobile location on Old Georgetown by Pike and Rose, and the rep there was able to rectify things with a fairly quick phone call to customer support - all it took was going from Settings to General to Reset to Reset Network Settings, and everything was back to working as it should. I don't expect a rep to know every nuance of every single type of handset out there, but I do expect that they'll pick up the phone or ask someone else in the store for assistance if they don't have the answer to a question. In my brief several days at a customer, I've already seen how widely variable the support is from store to store, so be sure to read the Yelp reviews of a particular T-Mobile location before heading out for assistance. read more

He was also too lazy to check the trade in value for another phone saying it's worthless and then I showed him the value online at T-mobile. This is a poorly trained crew at this location. read more

Do not go to T Mobile. I went to this location and purchased a phone and service. The phone never worked so I called customer service and they told me I could return it. Upon returning there phone I was told that I then had to pay $75 for the service plan but the thing is I never used the phone because the phone was broken internally. After talking with store manager and customer service over the phone nothing was accomplished. I told them that I will call my bank and report this as fraud. The next day they credit my bank all but $75 and then yesterday morning they then tried to take $72 from my account for a monthly bill. How when it was supposed to be canceled???? I recently switched over to T-Mobile from Verizon. Time will tell if the service is worth it (so far, so good), but this review is for the local store. Coming from the Verizon Store on Rockville Pike, this store was an absolute Godsend. I was extremely frustrated with my long wait and poor customer service from the Verizon Store. I hurried into the T Mobile location before it closed to be greeted by Ivan (he knows his stuff). He asked me a few simple questions about the type of phone I like and what I would use it for. His first recommendation was the G2. At this point, I had done no research on T Mobile or their line of phones. I decided to briefly check out a few other options to see what could fit my needs. After going over specs of battery life, processors and memory, I agreed with his recommendation. I don't know a ton about phones, but I know enough about what I was using and what the G2 provides to know it was a complete upgrade. We went over plan options and he made his recommendations. I am now on a better plan and have the opportunity to upgrade my phone ever 6 months. Of course, I pay for this feature, but I value it as the type of consumer I am. Here's the kicker. Instead of wishing me on my merry way with my new phone and plan, Ivan puts me in touch with Lawrence. I needed to get my old number transferred over to my new phone, but there was a precise process I needed to follow to ensure that it was done correctly. Lawrence walked me through the entire process both that night AND the next day. He went above and beyond what was necessary to confirm that my phone was set up to my exact liking. When I went in during the second visit the next day, Lawrence immediately welcomed (and recognized) me and began porting my phone. Here's the second kicker. There was an issue with Verizon. He contacted customer support to get everything taken care of. The issue was on my end (my fault Lawrence!), but he still apologized. A few minutes later, I received a welcome text from T Mobile with my old number. Because of the diligent customer service, I now have all of my contacts on my phone as well. Keep in mind, this is service after the purchase was made, meaning these guys could have treated me like a Verizon customer and just left it as is. I'm extremely happy with my decision and happier that I was treated with respect. Both Ivan and Lawrence deserve recognition for their efforts. I work in an industry where loyalty is valued and pays off in the long-term. Thanks to these two, T Mobile has earned my loyalty as a customer. read more

They installed a screen protector on my Moto 4G Plus for no charge, even though I'm on their prepaid $30 a month 100 minute, 5 GB of LTE data "Walmart" plan. read more

At age 65 I finally bought my first cell phone here. Omar Masood walked me through every step, patiently explaining everything. I refer to him as "Saint Omar", as he had the patience of a saint. I finally talked my 72 year old hsb into getting a phone. Omar was, again, wonderful. When we went back with more questions, Saifu Savage assisted us. We have been using Tmobile as a family for the past 15+ years. Even when they were VoiceStream. Tmobile canceled my Dad's prepaid plan because they said there was "unsolicited activity occurring". Without warning or prior information my Dad can not make calls. I asked them to check the call records and all it shows is a handful of phone numbers that he usually calls (Family and Friends). But it did not matter to Tmobile. They deactivated his number anyways and now he cant even transfer the number to another carrier. He had to sign up with a new number. They told me we need to write a snail mail to the TMobile fraud department for more indepth response on why it was deactivated due to "unsolicited activity". After this problem, our whole family will switch out of Tmobile because I dont want to lose my number either for no apparent reason. read more
