I would like to give a shout out to T-Mobil. We have been with T-Mobil for 9 years and honestly have never had a problem. They are always there to answer any questions big or small. Today I had a very simple question and Nathaniel - 1223265 was so much help and even helped me with a few problems I didn't even know I needed. So much thanks to Nathaniel!!! And the T-Mobil staff ! We tried visiting this store in April to change our phone plan. Ended up sticking with Sprint. This place has terrible service and it isn't helped by their terrible system. You walk into the store, the two working reps have customers. No one greets you, so you wander aimlessly. Twenty minutes later, a few more people walk in. An associate appears from the back and walks up to those people and asks them if they have put their name on the list yet. Grabs a clipboard from the edge of the counter and signs them in. Then puts the clipboard down and disappears again. We thought we were the only ones peeved, but another couple walked out when they noticed this. I feel bad for the sweet older woman who didn't notice because she was staring down the other two employees trying to get help. Legend has it, she's still there. read more

I tried to like t-mobile. I did. This review is for service, billing, sales and promotions. I'm on my 3rd billing cycle and they still can't figure out why the BOGO promotion I got won't show on my bill. I purchased 4 phones, 4 of which were supposed to be BOGO. Customer service at the 800 number is mediocre at best and the retention department said if I like Verizon better should back. Get with it t-mobile. This particular store is where I bought them and had to make at least 4 trips to the store just to get basics completed. I always despise going into a phone place. It's almost as bad as going to a car dealership. Luckily, I had a pleasant experience with my last visit. I came in with a standoffish attitude, but left as a brand new owner of a Galaxy S iii. Pros: * Very good customer service and informative sales representative * open layout with hands-on setup throughout the store * non-pushy sales associate and patient too Cons: * numerous attempts at upselling, but hey what do you expect...it's part of the job. * with all the technological advancements in this day in age, one would expect that mail-in-rebates are no longer in existence. Why not do away with this and just offer the rebate upfront? Things would be so much simpler! Overall: I'm a happy customer. He told me about my warranty, went over map coverage, talked about hidden features, went over the phone's basic functions with me, transferred over my contacts, explained warranty, and plan coverage. He asked me numerous questions to see which plan was most suitable for my needs, but never pushed me into anything, which I appreciated. Tips: * if not offered, make sure to have your contacts transferred over.. it's free * Assure that you totally understand all the fees and charges. if not ask questions! * Keep your paperwork for future reference... trust me it helps for future issues if any. read more

Probably one of the worst decisions I made in 2015 was going to this T-Mobile and switching my service over from Sprint. I was enticed by the whole buyout of my old contract and the lower rates T-Mobile was offering. This decision is now costing me close to $600. Everything seemed fine during the process, the associate was nice, the transaction went smooth, I got the phones and I submitted my reimbursement form online. Flash forward... Today I went online to check the status of my reimbursement only to find out it was denied. I called customer care once I saw this and the rep on the phone told me the complete opposite of what I was told in the store. I was completely 100% lied to, not only by the sales associate but by the store manager as well. I wish I was making this up but I'm not. I was told what they thought I wanted to hear so they could get a sale. It's one thing to have a sales associate lie but to have the store manager come up and validate everything he was telling me when you knew it wasn't even close to be true. I'm so frustrated and there is very little I can do about it. If you are considering going here just make sure you get everything in writing before you sign a contract. read more

Was in the store upgrading and had a man come in with no mask, i felt unsafe and really glad tmobile did their part to ensure people following regulations are not affected because of others negligence. I have came here on three separate occasions upgrading my families phones and always enjoy the great customer service they provide. Looking at these other reviews it doesn't surprise me at my experience either. I live close to this store but purchased a Motorola Razr 5g from the rainbow and 215 store because it was the only store that had it in stock. After a week I'm realizing this isn't the phone for me so I decided to return it. I looked it up online to see if I could return it to the store I normally go to, and sure enough it said I could. I also called customer service to be sure, and they confirmed it as well. When I arrived at the store he looks as my receipt and says "oh I'm sorry since you bought it from the rainbow and 215 store you'll have to return it there". I asked why and he tells me "because of Covid". The phone has been in my possession for 10 days so how does what store I return it to make a difference? Is the phone less likely to transmit covid if I return it to the original store I purchased it from? Are the employees being kept safer by not allowing returns from different stores, although the phone has been with me 24 hours a day for over a week? I'm really confused how that is a response on how I can not return a phone to the store closer to my home instead of having to drive across town to make a return. The guy I spoke to was nice and it's not his fault (so I apologize for my attitude) but whoever implemented this policy should really think about how that is helping anyone. read more

Came in for a screen protector for my note 10 and Rubik was the one to help, BOTH screen protectors he put on my phone didn't work with my fingerprint scanner and he was very apologetic, even though its not his fault nor im my opinion his problem, and gave me a refund. I would rate this store ZERO stars if I could. They are complete jerks here EVERY single time I come in. All of the associates and even managers here have NO idea what they are talking about. They all told me wrong information multiple times while I called and went into the store. They tried to tell me that they would not accept my phone return/trade in and told me I would need to pay a $175 deductible for them to take it back or else I'd have to pay $360 to buy the phone outright. Total liars. They tried to rip me off! So I left and went to another T-Mobile store and they gladly accepted it back. I will never come back here again. One of my worst T-Mobile store experiences. I went in after speaking to tech support the night before about my phone and getting a warranty exchange. I was told I needed to go in to a T-Mobile store to have the phone looked at before having a warranty sent to me. When I walked in, all the available reps were hanging out behind the computers. I was not greeted, just looked at. I had to start approaching the counter to finally have someone acknowledge me. I have worked in the customer service for T-Mobile and verizon for over seven years, it was never acceptable to not greet your customer and stand behind the counter chatting when there are customers in the store. Once I was finally acknowledged, she didn't give me her name and just asked what I needed help with. I told her what I was told by the tech support rep and she immediately started arguing with me saying they don't do warranty exchanges in store and she must see the problem actually happening. She didn't listen when I said I was TOLD to come in store by someone from T-Mobile technical support. On top of that, phones have this magical thing where they decide to work once you come in to the store so for her to tell me I need to replicate my issue in store so she can see that something is actually wrong is basically her telling me I'm a liar and my phone is fine. I told her there were notes in the account so she finally asked for my number and went through the notes on the account and didn't say anything else after that. But every question I asked her regarding the exchange, she responded like she was being attacked and in a loud manner. I don't know who runs this store but I would be ashamed as the manager of this store for the way the employees treat the customers. This isn't my first visit with this store. My other two visits were not pleasant either. I am just very upset with this experience in particular. read more

I'm only giving this T-Mobile branch 1 star because yelp won't allow me to give them less. My first experience here was with a representative that didn't know her own promotions. I wanted to sign up for the military plan with 3 lines, which is $90. The in store representative said it would be $140 a month. I showed her online that it was $90 and she continued to tell how the plans change all the time and it changed yesterday. So I went home and contacted customer service and what do you know? The price ended up being $90 a month, just like the website showed, weird ! While speaking with customer service, I decided to upgrade my phone. I ended up getting a phone with bad Bluetooth hardware. No big deal, things happen. I tried to return the phone to the store, since it's T-mobile, instead I was given two options. The first was to return the phone to customer service and the second option was to order a phone and pay $20 for the warranty. I asked to have the fee waived since the phone is brand new and still under the 14 day return policy, but the store refused. It's only $20, but I don't think I should need to pay more than the $800 I'm already paying for the phone that arrived damaged. I called customer service, turns out they offer a 20 day return policy and are paying for all shipping costs or the return as well as the new phone to arrive. Do yourself a favor and do not shop at this store, they're unhelpful, have terrible customer service and do not know they're own company promotions. As a side note, I'm not normally one to leave a long drawn out review like this, but this store is horrible and I felt it deserves the review it's getting. read more

I have had only outstanding service from this store in the past, which is what makes my experience today so monumentally unacceptable. I came into the store at about 2:00 this afternoon, they were busy, so I waited a few minutes for an employee to help me. All I needed was an iPhone charger for my office. Perhaps I was unable to communicate my needs to this employee. In any case, she told me that what I wanted was not made, even thought I have the same charger at home, and finally intimated strongly that I didn't know what I was talking about. I journeyed across the parking lot to Office Depot where I found exactly what I wanted and two employees who were much more courteous and professional. Tom Peters, the author of "In Search of Excellence," states that customers who have had a pleasant experience with a place of business tell an average of seven people. People who have had an unpleasant experience will tell 19 people about it. In today's digital world of social media and sites Like Yelp it would behoove businesses to invest a modicum of their resources in customer service training. I purchased a phone for my son and needed to get a SIM card, activate the phone, and add him to my plan. I am so happy that I went to this store and met Shaq T! As my husband and I entered the store, we were warmly greeted, first by someone helping another customer at the counter & then by Shaq. He was kind, courteous, and went above and beyond to help me get my son's phone up and running. He gave me plan options, then spent extra time helping me with an easy phone number (as my son has Autism). Shaq T is the epitome of customer service and I highly recommend any T Mobile customer to visit this store. As a mother of a son with a disability, I've spent plenty of days with tears in my eyes. I came into the store two days ago spoke to a guy named Tyler, steer clear of him he is a two faced liar. We spoke about plans and changing over from another carrier. I walked in today to switch over and everything he told me about the phones were half truths. I came in and spoke to Jolly. Now she was awesome she set the truth straight. I didn't go with the plan solely based on this guys lies. When I called him out on it in front of the other ladies, he said if he has nothing in writing I didn't say it... I work in the customer service industry this guy has ZERO integrity. The rest of the time I was in the store he avoided me. I was excited to switch to TMobile and now I don't know if I will. I like their plan and phones, however this left a very sour taste in my mouth. I even went to the extent of telling them to roll back the video tapes and you'll see is talking right next to the phones. However it fell on deaf ears. So T Mobile thanks but no thanks... I am a little upset to hear AT&T may buy T-Mobile because AT&T sucks, but other than that I would recommend this location to anyone. The customer service here is terrible. There is no way that a person should be waiting more than 10 mins to pay a bill. Yes, I can pay on-line, but I had a bad experience with the customer service on-line so I prefer to come in. I walked in and the girl walks over 5 mins after saying "oh I didn't check you in." You looked me directly in my face when I walked in.. why not say can I get you signed in. There needs to be lines for different services. No one says " we will be right with you." I could've drove to Mesquite as long as I waited. I will not be coming back here again. Whoever the manager is needs to give a training course on Customer Service. If you have to pee, if ypu're hungry, or have a Husband/ Kids at home waiting on you... roll right past this place.... You'll be here spending the night. AND VERY RUDE!!!!! I asked an associate how much was the payment towards my last bill. He says he can't tell me?? And that I need to have an idea of what I am paying before I get there. If I could give zero stars I would. When we walked in this big lady asked if we needed help.. we said we wanted a new phone and wanted to look at the iPhones. She walked away... well ok thanks for helping us out. so we looked and decided my husband wanted the iPhone 8 plus. We told her and she went over to her computer and we gave her the phone number. She went into the back and grabbed a phone. Didn't even ask what gb we wanted... she didn't explain the price breakdown and what everything cost. We asked if we could put his SIM card in the new phone and why did she put a new one in there.. she didn't answer. Online it says $80 down and $30 a month.. she quoted us way more and turns out there is a $20 upgrade charge.. well gee thanks lady for telling us.. NOT. We had to ask her if it was the right phone. She asked if we wanted insurance and we said no and she said well seeing your old phone is smashed up are you sure? Like really do you need to be a bitch and make nasty remarks. So finally we decided um no we didn't pay for anything yet so we will just order it online.. she goes well I opened the box and put a SIM card in. Ok cool but you opened that box way before we even told you what gb we wanted. What if we wanted 128gb and she grabbed 64.. seriously the worst service we have ever experienced. What a effin ding bat. Don't go to this location unless you want to deal with idiots that make rude remarks and try to rip you off. We left and are just going to buy it online from Apple. Bad customer service and signal all the way around. At the store they'll tell you whatever hey can to sell you a phone and service. Thankfully they built the store near a tower so their equipment works fine in-store. Plus the agents inside were super friendly. Get it 1.5 miles away (outside) and there is 1 bar to no service. Engineering did a poor job apparently. Even the maps that are estimates showed the best service where I live... yet no service outside. Went back into the store and they looked confused and promised it was a glitch. This glitch went on for 3 months. I called T-Mobile consistently to the point where they and issued 3 engineering tickets, all came back that everything was fine. Figured it was just my phone; couldn't exchange the phone as they couldn't find anything wrong with it... checked with a friend who had T-Mobile and a different phone... his phone rarely got service outside and he lived in the same area. At the end when I cancelled my service, they offered me a device to boost the signal strength if I would connect it to my Internet... after 3 months of being manipulated by T-Mobile?! I was in this store yesterday and was told that they had a special on the iPhone 8 Plus . It would be 40 out the door and I would get the 300 off. But I had to get my crack on my phone fixed and that when I came back they would have this deal. So I came back today everything fixed ready to get the phone and than they tell me the deal had ended yesterday . I was never once told this yesterday in fact i was told if I got it fixed it would still be available . But they would not honor it . I'm very disappointed in this store , you should not tell your customers one thing and than go around and say something different. I will be contacting the corporate office .
