The manager Ramon has the worst customer service. I came here tonight to get a new phone and a man was already standing outside who stated that they were closed and the door was locked. The sign says they close at 8pm. It was 5:30 pm. Ramon ignored us, as I knocked on the door to get an explanation. He could have taken 2 seconds to walk to the door and explain why they were closed. He only came over after I screamed through the slight slit in the door, that I left something in the store. He is a horrible manager/employee!! . Very bad customer service. T mobile, if you plan to close at 5pm, change the store hours on the sign. I drove all the way here with plans of being assisted. I've been in customer service for a long time and I've never seen a manager, not acknowledge clients, with a brief explanation, knowing the sign is inaccurate. Fire this guy! i am overwhelmed by the excellent service here at tmobile NoHo on Lankershim Bl. Carlos G. He deligently worked to solve my issue. he had to speak to a sales rep on the phone on behalf of me. He was very professional and courteous as he refused to except a no to my problem that was another phone reps mistake. I was patient know he was doing the right thing for the right reason, not just to please a customer. I was given the wrong info about an exchange. he even had the rep put a manager on when he could get the rep to listen and cooperate. Carlos G would make any mother proud, so T- Mobile be proud that you all are raising up, not just young people, but future supervisors maybe. Leroy the manager here was also great and the young lady I spoke to next to Leroy was also polite. They spoke to everyone that came through the door. thank you so much. I can not express how relieved I am to get out of the nightmare AT&T put me through. I am so grateful and thankful for Kathie's help yesterday helping my Mom and I get the service we were desperately needing. We explain to her our situation with AT&T and told us not to worry, she will take care of us...AND SHE DID!!!! She gave us ALL the promotions she can find and explain to us our plan and exactly how much my bill was going to come out too (taxes and fess already included). I ended up leaving with a new Samsung S7 and a free gear fit. My Mom got a better deal on an LG besides the one she had first chosen. So thank you Kathie once again for ALL of your help. After a terrible experience at the Alameda location in Burbank, I was hesitant about going to this store. It was very busy, but as soon as I walked in I was greeted and signed in with two people ahead of me. I explained that I wanted to upgrade two phones and add a line. I thought the most economical choice was to finance refurbished phones, he quickly explained I could use the "buy one get one half off " promotion when financing my phones. (The lady at the other store told a trainee to tell me that wasn't allowed and they would have to see if we qualify for financing. Uhhhh, she assumed cause I didn't want to buy new phones for my teenagers that we had $$$ problems or something. Found out we qualify for almost $4000 worth of devices! Booya!) Anyways, Ivan, took really good care of us, added the line, upgraded our data plan, and gave us the best pricing for two new devices. And he was professional and friendly the entire time. The store was clean, the staff worked together, and customers were helped quickly. Unlike some of the other negative reviews, I didn't wait long. I was seen within five minutes. I like T-Mobile as a company, but my review is about this store and specifically the employee Marquez. Before I walked in I had done my research online. I knew exactly what phone I was going to get, what plan, and exactly how much I was going to be paying. So I sit down with Marquez and he starts trying to convince me to get more data. That's fine. I knew what I wanted so I declined. Then he starts talking about the JUMP plan. I sigh and say I'm not interested in paying extra for a warranty. He says no, JUMP is included in your monthly fee. I'm surprised because the website said nothing about this but if he said it, it must be true. Why would an employee lie to me? I double checked with him, telling him I was sure it was another $10/month. He assured me it wasn't. Well, I get my first bill and there it is, a $10/month fee for JUMP. So Marquez straight up lied to me. I have no doubt that he got a commission for up-selling the plan. He's probably done this exact same thing to dozens of customers. I walk back into the store today to complain about this and talk about adding a line. The salesperson who helped me immediately started trying to talk me into paying for more data and trying to convince me not to leave JUMP. She spent fifteen minutes trying to convince me to spend more money per-month. She didn't do anything illegal, so I'm not mentioning her name but the problem is obviously systemic. I don't know who's managing this store but they need to do some serious housecleaning. They need to sit their employees down and teach them a thing or two about customer service and cut this crap out. But first off, they need to fire Marquez and hopefully dock him past commissions. The wait was long...far too long. I'm a patient person, and I was beginning to lose it as I waited over an hour. Six employees on the floor, 8 people ahead of me when I got there. There was no logical reason for me to have had to wait an hour. After about 45 mins, I learned some were worker bees in training, so they weren't allowed to do much to help customers. When I was finally helped, dude went above and beyond. He was thorough, informative, patient, and funny. While I left happy, I dread having to ever go back. Who wants to wait that long??! Just to give you an idea, when I arrived, employee #1 was helping a pair of guys, and employee #2 was helping an older man. Employee #1 helped me next (yeah, he helped the same pair of guys for an hour!). As I was leaving, employee #2 was STILL helping the same older gentleman! I'm all for friendly and thorough customer service, but that was truly excessive. They need to find a balance. read more

Some guy whose name rhymed with Dario or was named Dario sucks. Point blank needs to go back to the quick thinking customer service training class. I call back for a 3rd time I get Gino who took care of it with no putting me on hold and hooked it up with another locations number. Looks like we know who to ask for from now on or give the sale to when i visit the store next time. He may not have written a book in the Bible, but in my book, this guy is a regular King James (sorry basketball player for the Lakers) but when it comes to fixing my problems in the clutch and going out of his way to get me the best possible deals on a phone, Malachi is the real King! After conflicting info from tmobile online and phone customer service, I came into the store to sort things out. I was lucky enough to be helped by Mal Romero who patiently listened to me and identified the issues and reassured me that we can take care of everything. One by one he resolved my problems and even called on my behalf and walked me through the process to block my phone and file a claim for a new one, which Assurant does everything they can to make it difficult. Recently decided to switch over from sprint to tmobile and was glad to see that a corporate store was walking distance from where I live. I walked in around 1 noon to find a normal wait time whenever you go into a cell phone store. Once my turn came around I was helped by Eric. He helped me out big time on choosing my phone, he really knew his specs about nearly every phone in the store. I ultimately decided on the Note 4 and he helped me tremendously on how the whole "ETF" deal works out. I never felt like I was being pressured into buying anything I didn't need. THE SERVICE IS GOD AWFUL! I am writing this review as I sit and wait to be helped. Now going on 30 minutes waiting after being passed off to another employee. About a month ago my phone was stolen and I went to this T Mobile location to get a temporary phone, and look at my options for transferring services. I received a loaner phone, and a few weeks later, my original iPhone was returned. I am now here to return my loaner phone. As soon as I was greeted I told the guy I wanted to return my loaner phone, and he immediately told me to sit and wait for someone else to help me. That same guy who passed me off is now waiting at the door for new customers, while another employee has been assisted a customer choose an iPhone case for the past 30 minutes. Walked into a fairly quiet store at around 7pm. There shouldn't have been a wait since 4 employees were with customers and the other 2 were talking to each other. I walked up to the 2 who were chatting, expecting to get the typical "welcome to T-Mobile " but I got nothing. I waited a couple of minutes to be acknowledged and nothing. A couple more minutes still zip. Mind you, I was standing right in front of them. I was ready to go over to one of the other employees since these 2 clearly couldn't be bothered to end their conversation to help or even ACKNOWLEDGE me. Just as I began to walk away from the 2 chatty Kathy's, one said "I'll get someone to help you in a minute". So even though he and his coworker were apparently free I still had to wait for someone else to help me? Nice. I later found out that this rude guy, Laurence was actually the manager! What a joke. I guess managers don't have to help customers or have their conversations interrupted. I ended up being helped by Manuel who was very nice but we ran into many problems which seemed to confuse him. The first was over the fact that I was there to do a warranty exchange. He said it could take a while and began explaining all this unnecessary stuff. I finally cleared up the fact that I had already started the process and just here to pick up my phone which was already delivered and waiting for me at this store. That wasted like ten minutes. When we got to the point where I had to enter my iCloud id into my old phone to erase it, it wouldn't accept it. I tried several times but it just wouldn't. Manual said there was nothing he could do to help if I couldn't remember my id #. (The number I use everyday to log in to my laptop and make purchases with). I told him I did not forget it. That something weird was happening with my phone. I tried multiple times to no avail. He finally suggested I log on to the store computer to gain access. Although it recognized my id, I was still unable to gain access on my phone. Only then did I feel Manuel actually believed I knew my ID. We were finally able to complete the process but it took forever. I feel the employees at this location are seriously lacking in training. They should be able to troubleshoot on the drop of a dime without trying to make customers feel stupid and they should be able to answer simple questions without hemming and hawing. I haven't been to many other T-Mobile stores, so I'm not sure if the service is this fabulous across the board, but the staff at the North Hollywood location are just wonderful! I have been in there on a number of occasions and probably dealt with about 5 different staff members at this point. They were all very patient, understanding, and helpful throughout my visit. The only downfall is that there can sometimes be a long wait in the evenings when they get busy. But if you stick around for long enough, you'll see that it's because they're giving each customer the time of day and not trying to rush them along and move onto new people. I personally really appreciate this. My salespeople have been great about offering phone advice without being too pushy. They also offered to transfer all my numbers/photos/etc. that weren't on my sim to my new phone. Made the whole phone transition a whole lot easier., And of course, T-Mobile's prices are significantly cheaper than the others...so that's a HUGE PLUS in my book! read more

Love this location. I came in to buy a Galaxy S4 and Megan was absolutely amazing. New to LA and so helpful, honest and straight forward. I could not have been happier with her patience and enthusiasm. Awesome. Also, I lost my validation ticket and went back after I left the store (which was like 30 minutes after closing) and someone opened it up and took a thorough look for me even though they were almost all closed up. ** Megan began to help me at like 7:45 and did not make me feel pressured at all or like I was holding her after her shift. 5 stars for the Store! The sales associates are great. The place packs up fast, but they are very attentive. There's a good chance you'll wait, but you won't be forgotten. But you can't possibly use "everything" due to the lack of service, dropped calls etc etc. I made the mistake of getting out of Verizon for the cheap rates.. I've dropped calls ALL OVER! That's when I can actually make a call... I'm keeping an ongoing list of where t-mobile does NOT work. If you live in: Burbank Hollywood Silver Lake Pasadena Malibu MIAMI Wyoming DON'T expect decent service. If you LIVE IN A BUILDING don't expect decent service. If you WORK IN A BUILDING don't expect decent service If you plan on traveling anywhere, don't expect decent service. If you travel to Wyoming, expect to NOT HAVE SERVICE and BE CHARGED FOR ROAMING If you fly into LAX, don't expect to make a call until you get to Sepulveda. Basically,save yourself the annoyance, pay and extra $20 a month and go with AT&T or Verizon. T-mobile has a long way to go. If service is good in your area (Watts, Crenshaw, Noho) and you never leave your area, then t-mobile is good. I have to tell you, this is the first time where I feel like I have had a really positive and personal experience going into a T-Mobile store. Richard and Tona (I believe) we're exceptionally personal and kind. Even as the pandemic and protesting are going on, they both still made me feel special and valued. I had an issue with my phone not getting reception and without any hesitation they tested my phone and decided that it needed to be replaced(through insurance). I came in a few days later when the phone arrived to the store not sure what to expect from a customer service standpoint and I was amazed to see the same great customer service was continued. They made me feel very comfortable and connected to me personally. They got to know me as a person and made the process so easy and quick. Thank you for the great service. This is my store of choice and I encourage others to go in and experience the great customer service I experienced. Good job everyone! read more

Not only was he knowledgeable about what I was asking but he also took the time to help me understand everything so I was no longer confused about anything. He was very professional and I was extremely happy with the service and time he provided me. I never felt rushed nor did he seem bothered with the many questions I asked him. His customer service was beyond excellent so I had to let it be known.
