I have to tell you, this is the first time where I feel like I have had a really positive and personal experience going into a T-Mobile store. Richard and Tona (I believe) we're exceptionally personal and kind. Even as the pandemic and protesting are going on, they both still made me feel special and valued. I had an issue with my phone not getting reception and without any hesitation they tested my phone and decided that it needed to be replaced(through insurance). I came in a few days later when the phone arrived to the store not sure what to expect from a customer service standpoint and I was amazed to see the same great customer service was continued. They made me feel very comfortable and connected to me personally. They got to know me as a person and made the process so easy and quick. Thank you for the great service. Not only was he knowledgeable about what I was asking but he also took the time to help me understand everything so I was no longer confused about anything. He was very professional and I was extremely happy with the service and time he provided me. I never felt rushed nor did he seem bothered with the many questions I asked him. What a refreshing and wonderful experience to be a T-Mobil customer after years with Sprint (fine) and Verizon (not positive). Our sales guy, Noel, helped my mom and me get onto a family share plan. He listened to our specific needs, found the plan that worked best for us (ultimately saving me $40/ month), upgraded us to two new phones, and helped us with the setup. Soooooo I went into the store ready to leave T-Mobile and left happier than ever. The mobile expert, Tremel Lang, saved me from leaving T-Mobile and helped me understand not only my bill but the countless options that I had with T-Mobile. He took time to go over my bill line by line and called corporate to have some billing discrepancies taken care of. Tremel (aka T-Lang) made sure I understood everything associated with my account. He showed me different options to enhance my phone-using experience, helpful apps, and helped me get a nice discount on my monthly bill by simply asking me what I did for a living...and it turned out that my employer provided a 15% monthly discount! When I purchased both iPhone 7plus phones my credit called for me paying half the price of both phones and the rest through a two year contract which I did for two years always early never late and paid off phones early earning me excellent credit with T-Mobile. Now looking to upgrade and change phones. However they don't honor or respect the fact that our arrangement was completed and refused to view me as a top notch customer asking me to do the same arrangement again. Meaning all my credit established with T-Mobile was for nothing and it's not right. This has to do specifically with corporate. The workers in the store are not trained correctly nor are authorized to think for themselves outside of a script used to handle situations. I wish I can give negative stars. read more

On the phone with tmobile support i ended the call embarrassingly for over complicating my problem with my cell, i wasnt looking too forward into going to the tmobile store to explain in person look them in the eye while i annoyed them Luckily i was helped by a dude named Nick, he was completely professional and extremely nice, in what i spent half an hour on the phone with customer support, Nick got me taken care of and understood my phone issue in less than 5 minutes, as i was rambling back in forth between 3 or 4 issues, he just kindly paused me and explained a few solutions, all which were right, I have a hard time being organized explaining things, but this guy Nick must be clairvoyant because i was dreading explaining everything again, but i was happy with the customer service and the fact i was in and outta their in 5 min. 5/5 would come back. read more

If I don't have nothing good to say I don't. but I switched over to T-Mobile got 2 phones from them and was to receive I rebate of 700 dollars but one of the workers swiped my phone so it's not in the system the corporate office won't do anything nor store the 2 managers I spoke to always said I'll get back to you and I just got tired of following up on them they kept avoiding my calls. So make sure you don't get ripped off. Ok, so I walked into the T-mobile store at 5300 N.Lankershim Blvd today on Saturday 3/23/19 about 2:15 during the Vegan Food Festival event outside the store while attending the nice event enjoying my day until I decided to visit the store to see if I could exchange a recently purchased USB phone cable cord for my ZTE phone that was purchased not longer than a week prior to usage. After mentioning to the clerk that the cable cord was already fraying and hardly charging my phone I asked what could be done about an exchange or replacement. The young lady sales associate was trying to be helpful and stated that she'd like to speak to the store manager Omar Neria about the complaint because she could "not find" my receipt of the purchase on their information update system. Meanwhile I explained to her and Omar himself that I remembered purchasing it from her the last prior week when I came into the store. At this time of my return to the store to return the damaged merchandise in less than a week Omar was on the floor at the time as I approached him as well explaining my situation. Omar looked at the frayed cable while examining it never once having a friendly demeanor or eye contact with me in a rather cold and aloof manner and stated that there was nothing he could do because I pulled the cord by using it and frayed it myself so he could not help at all. I found the female attendee sales associate more helpful in trying and having a very nice attitude and disposition more the "store manager" Omar Neria. Needless to say that my primary concern as I mentioned to the sales associate "a dedicated customer such as myself that pays and patronizes the T-mobile business every month for years and always pays my bill cannot get due diligent service for a simple replacement for a small damaged item purchased in a matter of a week. I then to decided to purchase another one that was not so astronomically expensive which they were out of at time only having the more expensive ones for $50 available. I then decided to leave unequivocally upset and disappointed in the help and the service also to be treated coldly as if "oh well" by Omar Neria, which I detected as an "idgac" attitutde by the store manger along with my walking out very annoyed and unsatisfied. This review is a little late, but I was in the store two weeks ago. I procrastinated and let my previous AT&T account get shut off before I was able to get a new line, so on the day of a big work trip I had to set up a brand new account in the few hours I had left before my flight. I had never gotten my own mobile account before, so I had a lot of questions and a little bit of drama getting some info from AT&T to make the transfer to T-Mobile possible, but one employee made the whole process so, so simple for me and I have him to thank for me making my flight with time to spare, a brand new iPhone (was able to trade my old one in even though AT&T wasn't playing nice) and even an Apple Watch (which he completely sold me on, as he owns one himself and personally recommended it for a lot of the same features I was interested in it for). I lost his business card, but I am pretty positive his name was Nick. All-in-all, the process took a couple hours and he was so accommodating, even going out of his way to call AT&T to help sort something out when he didn't need to. He was incredibly informative and answered every one of my 1,000 questions honestly. Didn't feel like he was trying to push or sell me on anything that I didn't want or need. If I ever need to deal with anything in person again, I will definitely be returning to this store. read more

Horrendous customer service and complete lack of empathy- read below: I signed up with T-Mobile as a new customer and their associate Gabby was helping me out. I sign up to buy the new iPhone 11 and during the middle of the transaction, their system froze- they asked me to wait 45 mins or come back the next day to complete the transaction. I ask her, if the system will have similar problems the next day, as I don't want to waste my time- she assures me not to worry! I show up the next day to complete my transaction and low and behold- the same system freeze problem. At this point Gabby asks me to pay cash instead. I have an account with Chase and there is no Chase atm close by, then another employee, Gino says that if I withdraw money from another atm (which is closer to the store), that they would give me credit for the atm withdrawal charges. I go and get the money from Wells Fargo- Wells Fargo will charge me a fee on their end and Chase would also charge me a fee for using a non-Chase atm. I make Gabby aware of this, as I make the payment- she flat out refuses to acknowledge any charges from Chase and says that T-Mobile will not pay for those charges. It's a small fee, but it's a matter of principle! I then talk to Gino- he wants to help and goes and discusses this with Gabby. Then he comes up with the novel idea of selling me more stuff and giving me a 25% discount on anything else I buy in the store. I then shop around and decide to buy a pair of AirPods. I mention the 25% discount that Gino is giving me, to Gabby to finalize the transaction. She then goes and discusses this discount with Gino and negates it! Gino then comes to me and says that they can't give me this discount - he then tries to give me some minimal credit on my bill. The whole exercise- to sign up as a new customer with T-mobile, involved two separate trips to this store, having their payment systems freeze multiple times, being told that I would be getting a 25% discount and then when I decide to buy something, having them tell me that they can't honor their word! On T-Mobile's part, it was an incredible lack of empathy and unawareness of how much of my own time was wasted for a simple transaction. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE- spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

Been going to this location for years and service has always been good, however I had the best service ever with representative; Gino Nunez. He certainly went the extra mile to help. i had so many phone contacts I needed to transfer to my new phone but since the port of my old phone was damaged it was nearly impossible, Gino did not give up and did everything in his power to save my contacts. After spending many, many hours on the phone with T-Moblie on the phone over the past week and getting extremely frustrated, I headed out to my neighborhood store to get some help with an actual in-person, live human being. After having no phone for over a week, imagine my complete surprise when the representative Tommy helped me right away, was incredibly cordial and informed, and actually FIXED THE PROBLEM in under five minutes!!!! I have been with T-Mobile for nine years or so and, for the first time ever, was ready to bail and go to another company in the hope that I could have a working phone. Quality of service and staff has gone downhill. I've been with Tmobile for over 10 years and have been going to this store. Their service were great and so were their staff. Last night i wanted to upgrade my wife's phone. The Note 4 was $50 cheaper on their website. It was not refurbished or a Web only special. I called and they said they will match their own prices. When i arrived, i signed in and waited 20 minutes before being helped. The gal that was helping me want even paying attention. She said i wasn't eligible but i pointed it out to get that she was looking at the wrong customer name. Then their manager told me they don't match their own prices. This T-Mobile is ridiculously busy which should be a good thing but they only have one or two workers on the floor even when there's over 5 people waiting! Talk about over an hour wait! Then if you want to buy an accessory for your phone like a case or a screen protector, they make you wait in that extremely long line. I'm amazed people are actually patient enough to wait but that's probably because there aren't many other T-Mobiles around. read more

I had to go to the t-mobile store today located on 5300 North Lankershim Blvd 125 in North Hollywood, California. I had to go to the store because I was supposed to be reimbursed for postage to send back a note 4 I recently purchased. When I first entered the store I was not greeted by anyone and I had to ASK to place my name on the list. I then asked the "manager" of Indian descent who has tattoos and wears glasses if I can place my name on the list. He asked what was the reason for my visit to the store and I then told him that I need to be reimbursed and I was sent to the store by customer care. He threw me attitude and acted like as if I were trying to steal ! He asked my name but then called me chris ! My name is jason also when it was finally my turn, he then looked as though he was trying to catch me in a lie. After he finally realized he was mistaken he left with no apology. The girl who was checking my account while the manager watched was nice and tried to keep it light. But I didnt get his name, as he was not wearing a name tag. anyway HE SUCKED ! read more

My husband and I received very solid customer service from this T-Mobile store # 8573 - especially from Mobile Expert Natalie M. She was patient, knowledgeable, warm and had a great sense of humor. We had been shopping around for better plans with a different carrier and Natalie took time to walk us through all of our T-Mobile options. We came back at a later date to port our old numbers and establish new service with T-Mobile. The porting of numbers took awhile and we ended up at the store past closing time but Natalie and the team didn't kick us out. They all stayed late to finish the transaction, get all of our devices straight and our new account set up. read more

Went in after I'd butchered my SIM card to fit an iPhone 4 and I couldnt remember my real phone number, cause I've been using google voice for years now. The lady there was kind enough to tape my sim into working shape and put it into another phone to retrieve my information. They were also kind enough to give me a new smaller SIM card that'd fit my iPhone perfectly. All this happened as their closing time approached. I paid my monthly and still can't thank me enough. Today was very bad experience at this T-mobile location. I came little after 12 noon with complaints that my Samsung 10S do not notifying me of any emails or text messaging. Very nice young man by the name Richard Estrada that started working for t mobile in July of this year was trying to help me but did not know how, and after numerous attempt to ask other employee by the name tonia durango or whatever is her name she was ignoring us for over 30 min. standing there and doing nothing.Then I asked her to help us and she told me just a minute.After 20 min. her standing and pretending I was Fed up. Well tonija or tonia whatever is your name your green color hair is not going to help you. I contacted Supervisor Victor in T Mobile escalation Tim and Complained against you. I had an unpleasant experience from this store. I went there to upgrade phone, and I've asked to sales person about promotions with the new phone that I knew from tmobile website, but she kept saying that she is not aware of the promotion nor in their system. After she showed me the list of the promotion 'in their system', I found it and told her about it, and she said,' oh, it's just the new promotion came in'. The promotion was on tmobile website for months! I asked about if there is another deal going on and she just wasn't willing to give out any information and kept telling me I have to find it online by myself. I've paid $20 Upgrade support fee, and I have to do it on myself sounds really ubsurd. She was also trying to transffering information from previous phone, and manager there approached to her to help other customer because it is taking too long right in front of my face. It was so unpleasant expreience from them. The sales person wasn't knowledgeable at all about the phone nor related information about the upgrade and promotion. They are not willing to help customer out either. Very unpleasant experience, indeed. read more
