Music blasting and employees hovering in clicks is the new Well it looks like T-Mobile has taking sprint back about 10 years with their customer service. I was at the Alton store and was asked to travel about 18 miles to a repair store to fix my phone, only to find out that there are no parts in stock there! The manager at the Alton store did call the repair store asking if they had the part but he didn't inform me it was not available. I ended up driving the 18 miles for no avail! I was then told that there is no way of knowing if or when a part would be don't even know for sure a part would be available Well it looks like T-Mobile has taking sprint back about 10 years with their customer service. It's a type of support I would expect maybe 10 to 15 years ago, but not in these times. the first store should have told me that the screen was not available, But instead, Purposely sent me on a wild goose chase; which I do not appreciate. So it looks like after 25+ years with Sprint I will be leaving them because of T-Mobile's policies, customer service and logistics issues. I guess the company promotes only for a younger clientele and does not want or need older Business Professionals that pay their bills on time!! "T-Mobile" after 25 plus years this Veteran and Business Professional will take my 5 lines elsewhere! I encourage others to follow!!! read more

I came here a couple nights ago to upgrade my phone. We had a sort of complicated request because we wanted to switch from the Sprint network to the T-Mobile network to get a military discount. Doing that plus getting new phones was a lot. We got such great service though (thank you Parisa, you're the best)! It made the whole process better. read more

Like others have pointed out, the employees here use racist profiling tactics. I was refused help financing a phone because the ignorant employee, Jon, who greeted me, assumed i didn't have a US SSN. I went in and told him I'm looking for a new phone, he pulls up my account and says, "We can't help you finance a phone, you're on prepaid service, you need to pay in full" I never mentioned wanting to stay on prepaid service, so i asked "How can i finance a phone" and he replies again "We can't help you finance a phone, best i can do is help you get a free budget smartphone after you open a new prepaid line" I went in already knowing what i wanted, this puzzled me, so i said, " i want to upgrade from prepaid service so i can finance a phone" Jon replies "If you want to be on the $70 per month service, you can only be on it if you have a US SSN... do you have a US SSN?" I said "yes of course I do". Only then did he start trying to help me out, before that, it was "there is nothing we can do, sorry" now he knows I'm a US citizen, suddenly "Of course you can finance a phone, check out the new IPhone 12". I told him I'd just look at the phones myself and left shortly after. I looked online and ordered a phone myself instead. These stores are just a circus, run by clowns, there's no need for them, the customer service is awful, save yourself a bad experience and do it online. The question shouldn't be "do you have a US SSN" it should be " what is your SSN" only when needed after already helping me find a phone first. I'm buying a phone, not going through customs. read more

Usually I'm more thorough with my research but I just went in to see what my options were and that man is very well educated on apple products. He helped me pick the best device for what I planned on using it for. He spent a lot of time helping me and I just really appreciated it. He was so rude when I said I don't want to upgrade my plan to get new iPhone. My phone from sprint stopped getting reception the other week and I was told by a sprint rep to go to their sprint store which was closed indefinitely (the one that was on culver). I called up the nearest Tmobile store since they recently had a merger and the guy on the line recommended me other Sprint stores but mentioned he might be able to help me if I dropped by. So I'm at the Tmobile store and Jordan (guy on the phone) helped me out for a solid hour trying to get my phone working again. He did it and now my phone is on the Tmobile network POPPING, like I never got reception at my place but now it never dips below two bars. You can tell when ppl are just trying to get their hours or if they really want to help you out. Jordan def was the latter. I was recently there for something as simple as getting a new charger for my phone and the gentleman named Ken was so helpful! He was very patient and answered all of my many questions and even put a new screen saver on my phone that I didn't even know I was qualified to get. WORST STORE MANAGER EVER! The rudest person I've ever met in a store! Like how can he be a store manager!! I don't get it! He yelled at me in front of everyone in the store when I was putting a mother in her place for being rude to my son and pushing him away!!! I was protecting my son and told her to keep her hands to herself when he stepped in and started yelling me!!! That's insane!!! Five stars to Jon and Ken at T Mobile on Alton Parkway in Irvine. Ken spent hours helping me solve a problem when my mobile phone number disappeared in space and we were unable to load it onto my new phone. He was courteous, patient and would not give up. IT was not able to solve the problem after 48 hours and when Jon came in, he quickly solved the problem. He's getting his masters in computer science and whoever hires him in the future will be extremely lucky to have such an intelligent kid. Both of them are such an asset to T Mobile. read more

I love this T-Mobile location and have been coming here for the past 5 years since I got my phone and plan here right when I moved to Cali. I encountered an issue with my iPhone's headphones recently and stopped by the store to seek some help. The employee welcomed me and politely asked what he could help with. After I told him that I could hear only on one side of my headphones, he went to the back and grabbed a new pair to test whether the headphones were the problem or my iPhone. Turns out my headphones were juts old. He let me keep the "new" headphones he brought out for testing. I insisted that despite his kind gesture I'd like to pay but he mentioned the headphones were from boxes of iPhones that customers returned for whatever reason. So I came in to get a SIM card for one of my lines that for some reason needed a new one, but when I first walked in it was not a good experience because no one said hi to me or even acknowledged I was even alive. After 17 minutes Michael came over and explained how sorry he was and how they are really busy and i completely understand. Service was good when we first got the phones (gotta make that sale!). But if you need to return anything, RETURN WITHIN 14 DAYS if you want YOUR MONEY BACK. They don't make exceptions and this return policy is not something they highlight when they're making the sale so BUYER BEWARE. We just wanted to return our phone cases, $80 value total, but we were over the 14 days. Sucks cause we just switched to TMO from AT&T. Bad customer experience, specially over a trivial amount for them, but would help their customer if they were to accommodate. read more

I been calling every month n finally I was told last night the promotion was discontinue since 2019. they tried to offer $25 credit for the pass three months as courtesy one time and I didn't accept. all I want is what it was promiseed to me when I did the switch from Verizon to them. I made the switch on December of 2022. They told me that they could downgrade my plan to save money and I still said no. very dissatisfied with their customer service. they kept promising n acting like they are helping you for 2 hours and zero results. read more

He was truly one of the best sales rep I have come in contact with in the whole company I had gone too 2 different stores to ask questions about there plans but every representative I spoke with did not have patience with me what so ever. until I met Junnior he signed me up and saved me so much money on my phone bill! I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile last April 2017 with their word that T-Mobile would pay/reimburse the balance of my last bill with Sprint, as all carriers promise for switching over. 8 months later I get a call from a debt collector saying that the balance remains unpaid, and no one from T-Mobile will handle my call. This is a $800 issue that I have to address now thanks to T-Mobile. Unhappy, to say the least. read more

I must say I am a very happy customer of T-Mobile's already but when I walked into this store to inquire about the Sidekick 3, the customer service was just TOP NOTCH. The sales person (I think his name was Charlie) was very helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy, and I had a lot of questions to ask. On top of that he let me surf the web so I could see how it would feel like to send an email on the thing. Since the Sidekick was attached to the bracket which meant I couldn't like feel the whole thing in my hand, he even pulled out his own Sidekick so I could get a feel for the thing. Totally recommend anyone who wants to browse but not necessarily purchase anything right then and there. He gave me a brochure so I could look at it and decide at my own pace. When that option did not work, he referred me to a repair shop, made the call for me and arranged for my phone to be repaired.
