This was the most bizarre retail experience I've ever had. I went in considering two different phones, which in this case are $2000+ devices. There were no customers, and the lady who helped me was very nice and helpful, answered all my questions, and I said I'd let her know in a few minutes because I wanted to go hands-on with the phones for a bit and see which one I preferred. Before I could get back to her, however, she got to helping two elderly ladies who were entertaining in their way but very talkative, and it was clear they were in no hurry to get done. After waiting for a long while, I went up to the front, where three associates were sitting, I said I was interested in one of the phones, and the response was 'ok, let's get you checked in.' But there weren't any other customers. I gave them my info, and they asked if I was ok waiting for the lady who originally helped me, who was now dealing with the women who were there as a social event, which is the reason I asked for some else to help me in the first place. I said 'Uh, ok' and went back to the table and waited. Eventually the first lady who helped me took me aside and said she knew her current customers were going to take a long time, and it was ok if someone else helped me. I asked why they just didn't help me when I went up there, and was told it was because she had spoken to me first and they didn't want to 'step on her toes.' That made sense, and I appreciated the nobility of it, so I went back to the front (\m/) and told them she said it was ok if someone else helped me. AGAIN they checked me in even though there were no customers (I didn't have to check in when I first got there and was helped), so again I waited, and after maybe ten minutes I received a text telling me I was up, and an associate was waiting for me at the front of the store. I went to the front of the store and there was no one there. I waited around for a few minutes, and no one came up, no one spoke to me, no one helped me, so I left. After having been there for over an hour I wasn't even all that upset, it was just so strange. I had to process what had just happened as I drove to Best Buy. read more

From a single phone replacement to a two-day nightmare. My phone was broken and the screen no longer worked, so I had no choice but to replace it that same day. My line was with T-Mobile, and we originally went to Verizon just to buy one phone. The salesperson convinced us to switch carriers by offering what sounded like a great deal. He told us that if we moved our lines from T-Mobile and opened 5 lines under a business account, we would get a much better promotion. The offer sounded reasonable, so we trusted the information we were given. We ended up purchasing 5 lines and 3 phones. At first everything seemed fine. The store started transferring my data from my old phone to the new one, but because the store was closing, the transfer process was left unfinished and we had to leave. As soon as we got into the car, the new phone showed an error saying the data transfer had not completed. When we got home, we tried to fix it ourselves but nothing worked. The new phone could not receive calls or messages, and my old phone had a broken screen and no working touch. That night I missed several important work calls because of this issue. The next morning my husband and I went back to the store expecting a quick fix. Instead, we spent from 10:30 AM until 7 PM there while multiple employees and phone technicians tried to figure out what went wrong. No one was able to solve the issue. After an entire day wasted, we finally gave up and left. What made the experience even worse was the store manager repeatedly trying to blame us for the problem, instead of acknowledging that the issue started with the setup and activation process in the store. We came in to replace one phone and were persuaded to switch carriers and open multiple lines. In return, we lost two days of time, missed work calls, and still left with unresolved problems. I am extremely disappointed with Verizon's customer service and the way they handled my account. I closed my account over a year and a half ago and returned the equipment, but Verizon continues to claim that I owe money and has reported an incorrect debt. For nearly three months, I have spent hours calling Verizon, explaining the same issue repeatedly, being transferred from one department to another, and still no one has taken responsibility or provided a real solution. It is unacceptable for a major company to treat customers this way. A mistake on Verizon's side has created unnecessary stress and damage to my credit, even though I fulfilled my responsibilities and returned the equipment. Customers deserve accurate billing, accountability, and support. Verizon needs to seriously improve its customer service and take responsibility for resolving issues instead of ignoring them. read more

Tonight, a rep at this Irvine location (2981 Michelson Dr, Store #1427001) used MY upgrade eligibility to process an iPhone 17 for another family member without my consent. They applied the upgrade against my line even though the phone went to my brother-in-law. They SIM-swapped my number off, processed the upgrade, then swapped me back. That is a massive security risk, my texts, 2FA codes, and accounts were exposed for a couple of hours. An installment plan I never agreed to is now tied to my line. I have always paid off my devices in full, and I never authorized this contract. After this transaction, I also discovered that I was mysteriously removed as an account manager. That means I lost access and control over my own account. This is not just sloppy service. It's a serious breach of trust and privacy. Verizon should not allow reps to downgrade account permissions, SIM swap a customer's line, and stick them with a payment agreement they never consented to. I'll be escalating this as both a billing and FRAUD issue with Verizon corporate and an FCC complaint and I strongly advise anyone thinking of visiting this store to doublecheck everything before signing. What happened to me tonight should NEVER happen to another customer. **UPDATE 09.23.2025** Verizon's executive office reached out to me directly after I filed an FCC complaint, and they confirmed this was handled improperly. They moved the installment plan off my line and onto the correct one. That part is fixed. What hasn't been fixed is the accountability at this store. The manager hasn't responded publicly, and there's been no acknowledgment that a rep here SIM-swapped my line into a phone I never had and removed my account manager status without consent. So while corporate cleaned up the mess, customers should still be extremely cautious at this location, the trust is gone. read more

I had tried six or eight times on the phone with Verizon customer service and where was cut off or quoted the wrong information and prices. One trip into the brick and mortar store instead of some agent overseas who did not know the latest pricing or how to help and all was well with Kyle. read more

I also appreciated the tag team action by SCOTT. I was so blessed to have 2 managers who cared to provide the best service. I have been a long time Verizon customer, and the service I received here was hands down the best. This is a large, well stocked, well staffed, bright and welcoming Corporate store. Come check them out. Parking is tough here. It's located in a busy and popular shopping center so be patient and careful. For the record, I hope Corporate will read this. The overseas team is quite challenging. I could not get the help I needed through the call center method. We do need to bring back some of those jobs State side. read more

Denny the Verizon Business Rep at this location is the absolute BEST! I've been with Verizon for over 20 years and used to be a rep myself at AT&T and have not experienced service as good as his. I have been experiencing service issues in my home and was getting the ring around from customer service they just kept transferring me and after several hours and days I was ready to cancel 8 lines and transfer out, but the level of service and care I got from Denny made me change my mind and he was also able to assist with the service issues in my home! We came into this store in June to do a trade in with our phones for new phones. My husbands phone was received and we got the credit for it but my credit still has not been given. Since then, the store will not pick up the phone. We moved out of state and we have no way of reaching the store. This store should lose their authorized dealer license. This store will scam you given the opportunity. Came in about a month ago to add a line and an iPhone. I received a documented receipt that showed me what my new monthly charges would be on the account, and my upcoming bill was not reflective of it, due to a credit that was missing between what was on my receipt and what was on my bill. The store had the audacity to tell me that there credits that were on my receipt must have been a systems glitch and they cannot honor the deal they gave me in store. The manager then proceeded to tell me if I didn't like it, then I can go somewhere else, after which he grabbed his bags and left the store, leaving me helpless. I have never been treated this poorly by any store member in any industry. Thankfully Abe works there, because he was ultimately able to help me out with patience while we got it sorted. I'm moving to an area my current cell phone provider doesn't have a presence, but Verizon does. A friend told me to go to this location (quite a drive for me) because as a corporate location they provide better service. This has always been my experience as well. Anyways, I showed up and was helped by Benny, Brandon and Alejandra. I believed Verizon was my solution but I have a family of 8, I couldn't switch the entire family to a new provider on a hunch. I had to confirm Verizon worked in the area I was moving to. My initial idea was to get a prepaid (burner) phone. Try as I might I couldn't find them anywhere. Just another example of drug dealers ruining life for everyone. Benny and Alejandra had just the fix (pun not intended). I bought a SIM card and took it to the sticks and voilà, it worked. Now it was time to switch everyone's phones. I got new SIM cards for everyone and even a few new phones. My mom still had an iPhone 6! I had to ship some sim cards to various family members on the plan. The entire time I was doing this, Alejandra made herself available to me. Via phone she helped me and family members overcome a few technical hurdles with ease. This could have been a total nightmare and it wasn't. This was because of the good customer service, Alejandra's extensive knowledge of the systems, and her willingness to help me via phone. I can not speak highly enough of Alejandra and her phenomenal customer service. In fact, at one point I came back to the store and asked for Alejandra who was not in the store. An employee, a good one to be sure, greeted me and I had been dealing with Alejandra. When told she wasn't there I asked him if he was as good as her at her job. He looked me square in the eyes and said, "No". It was a team effort but Alejandra drove the ship. Many thanks to them all. read more

I went to Verizon in response to their emails asking me to come back for 25 a line for 4 lines. After taking the time to walk into the store I came to find out that it is 25 a line + tax (ok) + fees (I was never told how much the total of that was going to be) + insurance to the tune of 18 per line. All said and done I was going to be paying around 200 a month not 100. So I called t-mobile when I got home and asked them to go over my bill. They did and lowered my bill to 145 a month without any hidden crap. I guess I should thank Verizon for the misleading emails, it prompted me to call my existing carrier and get a sweet deal!
