I contacted Alee with HiTek Telecom to get a quote on a complete network job for my home. Not only do my spouse that I work from home, but I also do a lot of photography and video that I transfer back-and-forth on my network and into the cloud. I was tired of poor and drop connections with my consumer level Wi-Fi system. In addition, I wanted a local security camera system that I can control without relying on a cloud service. After receiving a quote and agreeing on the scope of work, I scheduled the installation. Alee came out on time on the date scheduled and we walked through the plan of installation and confirmed what all my needs were. Alee and his team worked through the day and completed the install job in an incredibly professional manner. The installation and the cable runs, and all of the final product was exactly as described. After the install, Alee walked me through downloading all of the software that I needed, how to access and navigate the system, how to navigate and operate the security cameras, and ensure that everything was working properly. To be sure, this was a relatively large install for a residential application. I wanted ethernet drops in every room of my house, a new professional grade network cabinet, in-ceiling WIFi network, and a new suite of security cameras. I couldn't have asked for a better end product. I am quite pleased with the attention to detail of the install and making sure everything was perfect, workmanlike, and care was taken in my home. Alee came back out to adjust a couple of things for me after the fact and install an additional camera. Again, he was on time on the scheduled day. The workmanship was just as good and the communication has been stellar throughout. I truly can't recommend HiTek and Alee enough. Top-notch product and top-notch service.

    I'd recommend Shawn to anyone: his knowledge, efficiency, customer engagement, and outcomes…read moredelivered are outstanding. He's a networking and IT superstar. Costs: If you are upgrading your home network or other capability, and need to buy new/more gear, Shawn doesn't charge a markup on the equipment. In fact, once he's designed your solution he will provide you with links to the exact products required and let you buy them directly from the vendors if desired. Or he'll buy them himself and present you with the receipts. Hourly rate: With the skills Shawn possesses, his hourly rate is substantial. And it should be. However, you can still bring your project in at a very reasonable cost PROVIDED you can be a smart customer. By this I mean you must be clear on the capabilities you want to achieve--or at least be able to listen to Shawn describe what's possible and then make rapid decisions. If instead you want a lot of customer education, Shawn can do that too because he knows an immense amount about IT and can communicate effectively. However, it's a bit like paying for a neurosurgeon to teach you about the types of aspirin available to treat a headache. That doesn't make sense; get a nurse instead! In my case, my wife and I work from the house. My goals were to increase the reliability of our home network. We wanted better maintainability (so when the internet goes down I can rapidly identify the problem and fix it). We wanted better network security. I wanted to add a home security camera because of problems with car prowls, etc. And finally, I wanted to move our networking gear out of our super-hot furnace room to a cooler and cleaner location. This was a lot. Other vendors had previously failed to come up with an affordable solution--or any solution at all. Shawn showed us how to do it for a very reasonable sum. Once we had a plan, I was able to control costs by getting a carpenter friend to open up the wall and pull wires through to the new location for the gear. Shawn also kept costs down by allowing me to provide extra hands as he mounted gear on the wall, connected all of our wireless access points to the new console, etc. These steps all require two people. Shawn was willing to let me help and he even maintained a high level of wit and good-natured ribbing throoughout the long day of work. In sum: great outcome, great satisfaction, great price. The technicians installing the router were great. 2 weeks into the trial I contacted the guy that gave us the free trial to let him know the service wasn't reliable due to my building or equipment, either way, I needed someone to pick up the router. He didn't answer the text. So my next text was "who do I contact to come get this." He replied, said he'd pick it up over a week ago (see in pictures). It's coming up pretty close to the month mark so they'd be able to charge. I imagine dragging his feet has to do with commission if they make a sale. I called Ziply and I've spoken to nice people "who made an appointment to get the equipment" but told me they are transferring me for service cancellation. I have been on hold for 33 minutes. Just come get your stuff please. Update- stayed on hold for another 20 in addition to the 33minutes, until I decided to hang up and call back. I was now informed the sales person lied, it wasn't a free trial, and they also weren't authorized to retrieve equipment. "My Bill" for my "free trial" was 50$. The woman on the phone previously, lied about a tech coming to get the equipment, they are also not authorized to do so. That's on a recorded line. I was now informed to send the equipment back with a label, UPS, while they were still going to charge $50 for service. By the end of the conversation, in which I told her that they are scammers. she decided not to charge me the 50$ but 1.94$ in what I assume is for taxes. WOW. Beware neighbors. Time is $. I have 1 day off a week. So shout out to Ziply for wasting hours of my life, lying multiple times, and "gifting" me such a little charge on my "free trial" that I tried to end 2 weeks in. You guys are super cool.

Went to the Verizon store in Lake Stevens on December 15, 2025 and get the upgrade. Picked out the new phone, had it activated with new protective cover and was told it had to have a new charger and cord. I got home and found out the phone was a standard USB "C" which I have numerous ones already. Returned to store to drop off old phone for credit and return the charger. Everything seemed to be in order until the bill came. Upon reading Invoice, claims a $50 restocking charge on an unopened merchandise, $61.99 charger!! But have not received any credit at all for returned charger. No credit on turning in old I-Phone or explanation. Free upgrade turned out to be 3 year contract with plan price increase that will end up costing me $2321.64 by the end of contract for a $840 I-Phone 17. Invoice showed ($840) credit but on further reading found the ($840) credit was the amount being financed at over 18%. None of this was explained before I left the store and agreed to a new 3 year contract. Should have purchased phone outright or better yet, gone to a different provider where the I-phone is included in the plan and all prices and that I have financed a free upgrade phone would have been explained before signing any paperwork. The store front says Verizon, but nowhere on the invoice letterhead is Verizon mentioned. Will never do business again with this store Victra or Verizon again. Telling all my senior friends this is not a senior friendly store and they will be ripped off like I was. You get lied to about a free upgrade. You get scammed into a load. You get cheated out of your money by not honoring returns. As soon as I can get out of this contract I am switching to a customer friendly wireless phone company.

I had…read morelost my phone and had to get an emergency phone with a new phone number. they made me sit there for an hour ignoring me then talking about me like I was some kind of stalker. I was there for my phone number. I couldn't access anything because my emails my bank accounts everything wanted me to get a second tier validation, which meant a text on my cell, and I didn't have a cell with that number to receive the text. and they wouldn't give me my phone number. I started raising my voice and asking them to call the police because they were holding my whole life hostage with this phone number finally I sat in one of the chairs at one of the desks and I just refuse to leave they threatened all kinds of things I said nope not without my phone number finally they gave it to me after sitting at that desk for approximately 30 seconds they told me it was unlocked I immediately left and went to T-Mobile across the parking lot and they verified that they were able to give me my phone with my original phone number. thank you T-Mobile!
