I went in about an hour ago to upgrade 3 of the phones. I walked in not knowing that they close at 6 on the weekends. I walked in at 615. Rosie greeted me and let me know that I barely made it. She explained the upgrade process, the rebate or the bill credit and all the differences. Was super patient and sweet though she was well over her closing time. We ended up only doing 1 upgrade due to problems with the other 2 phones but I was very happy with the service and the patience in a time when people are very tense. Thank you read more

And every time I get my questions answered and get more information that I thought I'd get. yesterday I was mainly helped by JOSE! Whoa the above & beyond help he provided was unreal. It was nice to see someone so willing to help and not just sell me something for the quick fix. He was so detailed in the help he provided and was patient with me in explaining tech lingo. Mina was awesome. I got a little stressed and she calmed me down quickly. There were a couple of obstacles on the trade in because ATT has to squeeze every drop of blood from you. Awesome service! I called and spoke on the phone with Dustin and scheduled a appointment to discuss switching my service from Verizon ( who i have been with for over 20 years) to T-mobile. I have to say, he took over a hour explaining all of my options and what phone would be best for what i needed. I got a new I phone XS with a great unlimited plan. I am paying less with T-mobile and have a lot more benefits with this plan. Dustin was the best and I would highly recommend using this store and Dustin. Horrible! I advise you not to go there and choose another place. I went there for my appointment. There was no line but I had to wait for 20min outside so one lady told me she will check me in in the system and they will call me when it's mu turn. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. WOW WHAT GREAT SERVICE! This is compared to other locations and other service companies. I ran over my phone with my car and totally destroyed the screen. Even though I was closer to another T-mobile location I decided to drive the extra miles to this store where Iv'e received great service in the past. I was not disappointed with my choice. Mike handled my situation with true professionalism and helped me replace my phone and transfer all my critical information, contacts, texts and photos quickly and completely. What a great team! I came to resolve some phone issues because I did not want to deal with customer service reps over the phone and they took care of it all for me very quickly! This just opened T-Mobile location is gorgeous. T-Mobile seems to be rebranding their in store layout and it reminds me of the Apple store. Terrible experience here at the store. It has been a few months since I walked into the store - but the experience was just that bad that I have been meaning to write a note here on Yelp. We were brand new customers ready and willing to switch our service from Verizon to T-Mobile (that's another story that I will not get into), but nobody at this store cared. There were two or three reps at the store, and a couple customers, so they were not packed full or crazy busy by any means. When we entered the store, nobody greeted us, and in fact, nobody even looked at or made eye contact with us. We walked around for around 5 or 10 minutes, checking out the handsets and accessories, and during that time, nobody came up to us to ask if we needed anything. We then waited near the counters for another 10-15 minutes. Same story. After about 20-30 minutes of being in the store with about 3 T-Mobile reps and maybe 3-4 other (same customers), we were fed up and decided to leave. We don't mind waiting if we need to, but to be completely ignored by the staff was pretty unacceptable. We drove up the street to the other T-Mobile on Crenshaw and were immediately greeted and received wonderful service. Although the Crenshaw store is a bit further, if we ever need anything from T-Mobile in the future, we will make the trip there rather than going to this store on PCH. read more

Dont EVER deal with this horrible company. My wife had her I Phone stolen so we decided to switch from ATT and try t mobile. Went to the store, paid for the phone and the plan. Assured us that we had good coverage where we live WRONG No coverage. Swapped phones. Still no coverage. Had phone for 14 days. Returned to T mobile store and they credited for phone purchase. Got another bill for $181 for monthly usage (plan was $79) After six calls and two hours with T mobile, they finally admitted they made a mistake on sending bill and we owed $51. Paid. Started getting DAILY calls from T mobile finance demanding payment of $85? Finally told them I sent the check for the bill, and if they didn't like it to F off. They continued to give me crap. Finally admitted they have payment. This company has horrible processes, poor customer service. People in store are nice, but obviously did not follow their processes or we would not have gotten another bill.. Switched to Verizon. Great 4 g coverage Up yours T Mobile!!! read more

Just activated a new line on Sunday. The kid that helped me entered my middle name as my first which isn't that big of a deal but I needed to go back to the store to fix it. I decided I wanted to port my old number over onto a second line with the possibility of me canceling it down the road. Because of this the manager joe quickly said no. Customer service said i could do this with no problems in the store and joe said for me to call them and take care of it because he didn't want any "de-acts" (deactivations). He brushed me off knowing i had just started service with them 3 days ago and turned his back to me to work with another client. Joe is an immature idiot that does not know what customer service is if he treated me this way. I was on the verge of porting my new number out to AT&T after 3 days of service out of spite. Thankfully the customer service representative calmed me down and will escalate this issue to his supervisors. Not a good start to the relationship. Great customer service! I really don't understand the one star reviews. I came in to get more info about a phone plan and how to get off my family plan onto a separate plan. The T-Mobile rep was friendly and knowledgable, even after I asked her a million questions she probably heard before. I was able to leave with an new, activated phone within the hour. I did have issues with Verizon porting my number over to T-Mobile. I called up the T-Mobile store several times and they were able to help me out. I came to this t-mobile Store and was immediately greeted by Francisco, I think he is the store manager. He was very helpful and friendly and he was able to help me transfer my text messages, photos, and contacts from my old Samsung Galaxy S2 to my new Samsung Galaxy S4. He was also kind enough to spent a lot of time helping me to transfer all my photos from my phone to my laptop. In addition, he was able to cut my old sd card so it fits into my new Samsung Galaxy S4 phone. Francisco provided excellent customer service with lots of patience, a smile, and a lot of good advice. I had Nai help me out and it was the BEST SERVICE I've ever had at a phone store. I had water damage to my phone so he talked me through choosing another one and then helped me to pick out a case and a screen protector that he thought was best --even showed me that what I was buying was the best for my phone because he literally threw his phone over the counter to make me forget my worries about iPhones breaking even with the cases on! My dad and all of us as a family were a sprint customers, we switched to t-mobile because "the offer" for the magenta plus or max or (whatever that lie) is seemed pretty good, we did the change which it took one day maybe almost 2 to process, after that we were ready and went for the store for an upgrade, we checked in and this lady order our phones told us that's the kits to send our phones as for trade in should had come anytime around or maybe after we got our new phone so we can send the old ones as a part of payment for the new one...well that's what we thought we were doing, like about two weeks later we never got the kits and my dad called ti customer service and the lady told him that his account of the new phones didn't had any information about our old phones being for a trade in for the new ones, that we would have to send our new phones back to re order them again (which a lot of time already). ALL of this was because of of the lady who assisted us never actually payed attention to what we where saying as for the trading in well she knew but she made a huge mistake that almost cost us the money to fix it, We were told by the costumer service that they will ah e to re do everything by also applying the trade in info, all was going great, until we got a message that what our phones weren't worth that much at the end, they be saying that is pretty good deal but is the worst experience I have ever lived... read more

I was an AT&T customer for 30 plus years...... the customer service has been getting worse and worse. So, I dropped into a T-Mobile store, this one off PCH in Torrance, CA. (Store 9700). Straight away I was greeted, nicely & with sincerity. Daysha explained plans, options, upgrades --- all with no hard sell. She was extremely knowledgeable, with no attitude. I ended up switching over to T-Mobile, and bought a new phone.... walking away with paying less than I was with AT&T, with way more depth and value to my plan --- and with a new Samsung S21 Ultra. There was an issue with the data transfer, it took longer than expected, yet --- the manager, Edward Granados, stepped in to help when Daysha had to leave as her shift was over, and suffice to say, all went well. I have to say, both went so far above and beyond anyone I have worked with at AT&T it was almost comical. Edward made sure before I left I was pleased with all that went down; even down to the icons on the home screen in the order I wanted them..... so, all I can say, is, good riddance to bad rubbish (AT&T); and --- so far, I am extremely pleased with T-Mobile and their commitment to customer service. read more

Before you right this off as a t-mobile hater, I'll start with this: T-mobes almost never drops calls, and when it does it is at some consistent dead-zone while driving, unlike ATT which it happens twice every 5 minutes while sitting still. Anyways, so this is specifically about this store. DO NOT GO HERE I went late on a Friday night and was the only customer, a salesperson LIED about the phone I was buying, I have been tracking down T-Mobile through every worthless dead end channel to try to recoup their wrong. Nobody in this store will tell me what happened to the employee (fired or transferred) ... ...Look it's frustrating to go over this, as I have with T-mobile agents for months... Every single employee over the course of 5 months, and a visit twice a month, lies about not having the T-mobile service-booster device (which they do have, they just aren't supposed to offer it to customers, but technical people at tmobile will give one up if you qualify) Every single employee told me my phone had wifi calling, for 5 months, until one of them finally said "No, I know I said it did a few weeks ago, but it doesn't" It's a typical bullshitter run-around store, you always see upset customers in there. Even though I didn't get a phone here, I just had to write a compliment on the store. The store isn't so much like Apple like one of the reviewers had mentioned (I mean, it looks like any normal Tmobile store). I had gone in knowing I wanted to upgrade my blackberry and get a touch-screen phone like the G1. The salesperson who helped me was really nice, no pressure. He wasn't the kind of salesperson that stands by your side the entire time, which gets awkward. Like I said he was no pressure at all and knew a lot about the phones I liked. He had me gravitate toward the Cliq which I really liked. But after all of my past impulsive-shopping, I told myself I needed to sleep on it. Because, I'm now the type of person who realizes what kind of an investment a new phone is, especially if its a 2 year renewal (so much technology can change in that time). I arrived here yesterday at 10am because my phone is not working, it won't turn on and when it does turn on none of the apps work, neither does the text messaging and I have a four year so I need to be able to use my phone. Anyways, I arrived at 10am and a man and woman were sitting in their car next to me, she was putting on makeup. The store was not yet open so I waited five minutes and then got out of my car and stood by the door. The couple in the car drove away and I continued waiting. At about 10:10 I decided to drive across the street to get gas and come back. I re-arrived at t-mobile at about 10:17 and was surprised to see the SAME man and woman who had driven away ten minutes prior pulling BACK in to the T-mobile parking lot. This time they had coffee and breakfast. They then proceeded to get out of their car, unlock the t-mobile door, go inside and re-lock the door. I waited until about 10:25 and then left. They were well aware that I was there, waiting. I then went to my grandparents house and called t-mobile, because my phone is not working, and they sent me a new one in the mail, which I am still waiting for. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I called the store when I arrived at my grandparents and the man who answered was named Eddie. I will never return to this store, and I am contemplating cancelling my phone with t-mobile. Good job having the worst customer service ever, with out even serving a customer!!! You're supposed to be open at 10, and instead you're putting on your make up and going to get breakfast and STILL remaining closed at 10:25. If there was a Negative Zero (no Stars) this is what I would give not only this Torrance location, but T-Mobile period. I made the worst decision to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile back in March. Not only did I wait in incredible long lines to purchase 2 phones but trying to return them was even a bigger nightmare. After weeks of trying to return the phones(within the grace period) which was a total joke,I was told that there was a ZERO balance. Now I've spent the last 4 months dealing with customer service on a bill that should never have been issued. I have NEVER in my life had to deal with such incompetent people. This store is super understaffed. I was just there and some poor man freaked out because he had been there for 4 hours. T-Mobile was not prepared for the amount of business it would attract with its promotion for unlimited data. I'm not sure if it was worth switching from Verizon to T-Mobile. I was quoted a great price with T-Mobile when I signed up, but when I got my bill, there were all these extra charges (and I'm not talking about taxes). I was being charged extra fees because "the promotion hadn't kicked in yet." I was also being charged for the time my phone was not even activated! Bottom line, every month my bill is different and I'm going to have to be calling T-Mobile or walking in the store to fight over my bill for the next couple months. The funny thing is that I have all the charges written down of what my bill should be from the first time I signed up, but every time I show the associates at the store, they still take hours trying to figuring out my bill. read more
