Great customer service. Pricing on his repair is reasonable. Before I came in, I thought I have a problem with my charger port on my iphone, he gave me an over the phone estimate of $60 to replace the port. When I walked in he suggested he can try to clean and service the phone first and also diagnose at the same time. If he is able to fix it without changing the port, it will only cost $30. He asked me to come back after 30mins, and when I came back the phone is fixed and it was my battery that was busted that is why it was not taking any charge anymore. The cost was only $45! Still cheaper than changing the port and buying a new phone :) He replaced my battery and my phone is working again! He could have charged me $60 and say it was the port he replaced but he is really honest and even gave me my old battery (I returned to him for proper disposal). This place is highly recommended. Honest and pricing is reasonable. Terry also have a great personality and willing to work with all customers. This is now my go to place for any of my cellphone related issues! read more

Having issues with your cell phone screen?? ~~~Go See Terry~~~ ~He's Swift and Honest~ ~With The Best Rates, IMO~ This was my second visit. I was referred to Terry by our mutual friend, Delsin. During my first visit, my iPhone had crashed while transferring my photos onto my old laptop. I made the mistake of going to my phone's carrier first, where the the sales rep reset my phone to factory setting. Neither Terry nor the rep at The Apple Store were able to retrieve the 25% of my lost photos. They both spent a good amount of time trying, without charging me. On this second visit, my phone screen had randomly blacked out, then had blue and white vertical lines. I had just replaced the screen about a month and a half ago in SF for $100, which included a new battery. The guy in SF used an iPhone 4 screen on my iPhone 4s, but kept my phone's frame. The digitizer wasn't working horizontally across, 3/4th down the screen. Meaning I wasn't able to use certain emojis or type out certain letters. The guy stated he could reset the pins but then there's a chance he could make it worse so I just dealt with it. Fast forward, Terry looked at my phone and instantly said, I needed a new screen. He said he would be able to do it for $45. Whaaat?! The guy in SF originally quoted $120 but discounted it because he used a different screen. I thought I got a great deal then, despite a partially functioning phone. Terry also mentioned he would've only charged me additional $10 to replace the battery. Fyi, $25 for just battery replacement. Wow. I suppose this was the case of supply and demand. I wasn't able to wait till I got back from SF to the South Bay to have my phone fixed. Terry got my phone working in less than 1 hour, without an appt. It's a FULLY Functioning Phone Again!! I am VERY Happy. I know I should consider upgrading, but my phone is like some people's favorite pj, sweater, lipstick, shoes, etc. It's too difficult to replace it and just move on. My co-worker just spent $75 to replace her screen and cracked it again. She will be heading over to Caliphone Wireless soon. Thanks so much for being such a trustworthy guy, Terry. read more

Talking to one of my Yelp friends about the repairs on cracked screens and failed batteries. I had to ask where they went for these kinds of repairs. That's when I finally made the trip down here to the furthest point of Torrance all the way from Downtown LA. Parking was simple as there are plenty of spaces at the time. I waited my turn until Terry asked how he could help me. I loaded up the backpack with all the problematic devices I wanted to get fixed. Terry, on the spot battery replacement improved the lifespan of one of the iPhones. Another iPhone with a spiderweb cracked screen. Samsung Galaxy android with a screen problem too. I just had to wait for the work to be done in between all the interruptions. I was one of those interruptions for someone else. I don't get any discounts or perks but I have recommended a few people to come see Terry. They can mention my name of who sent them but you won't get any favors either. I was recommended to this place by a friend. I took my iPhone in and the owner offered me a free estimate. I assume he worked on it at least 30 minutes and said the circuitry was broken and it would not be worth fixing it. That is what the Apple store said. I tipped him $10. Two weeks later I took another iPhone in because the pins in the charging housing were not always connecting and charging. The Apple store said it would work until it did not. He cleaned it for $40 and the phone has worked 100% since then. Good man! read more

I've done business before with him and he was great. My mom went in a month ago and bought a phone. My girlfriend went in less than two weeks ago to unlock her iPhone. I spoke to him yesterday on the phone to see if he could unlock my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge which was with T-mobile and see if I could have Boost Mobile as my carrier. He told me no its impossible and didn't give me a reason I asked him why and he kept saying no and then told me he told me 4 times no with no explanation. He was being a real douchebag and made me feel like I'm an idiot while I was simply trying to find out why it is not possible. He said bye bye to me in a tone of relief that he doesn't have to talk to me anymore with an evil smile I could see thru the phone. I called someone else right after and they said it's not possible, were patient, explained why, explained alternatives like I could get Metro PCS not Boost Mobile because of the GSM networks. Stopped by here today because my iphone screen broke. According to yelp and the sign in the business they are close on sundays but they were open lol It only took 30 min and $65 to fix my shattered iphone 6 screen and he gave me a new screen protector for free too. The apple store told me that my MacBook was broken forever. They said that it was unfixable and the only way to resolve the issue was to buy a new one. They said it was highly unlikely a 3rd party would even be able to pull data from it. I didn't know what to do because of course, I had to leave for college in two days. I went to Caliphone because he has CONSISTENTLY fixed all of my "unfixable" phones, and he's told me that if I ever had an issue with my laptop, to bring it over and see if he could fix it. He saved me $3000, and charged me MORE THAN A REASONABLE price to save my "unfixable" MacBook. He is AMAZING!!!!!!! He even stayed an hour after hours to fix it, because he knew I was leaving for college the next day and wanted me to have it fixed so I could take it with me!!! Amazing!!!!!!! I came here about a year ago to get my screen replaced from cracked damage. Terry was super friendly and great to work with. A few months later the screen loosened from the phone about 1/16 of an inch, but I decided to just buy a case off Amazon to temporarily fix the problem. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, I decided to take the case off to clean my phone, but my clumsy self dropped the phone from the side of the bed and it fell on my carpet, which is a pretty soft surface. The screen completely detached from the phone and I was able to see the inside of my phone, including my battery! I was freaked out and went to seek out a few consultations from other screen repair companies. To my despair, I was told right off the bat that the quality used for the screen from my last repair was absolutely cheap. The small bands around the screen were already peeling off. They told me the screen used for my phone was of low quality, which probably led to the reason why it came off so easily after a few months. On top of that, it didn't look like it was screwed on securely. I was also disappointed to find out that part of the screen was attached and assembled to my phone using a GLUE GUN...that's definitely concerning to me, considering the fact that I paid around $115 last year for this repair. Hopefully by now those methods aren't still being practiced. But as a warning, I'd think twice about going here. Cool temporary fix, but not worth it in the long run. Good luck! So disappointed by the customer service I just received. Had my daughter's iPad mini screen replaced about a week ago. Totally started to crack next to the button the day after the screen was replaced. I assumed it was a faulty screen or improper install job. No big deal, these things happen. When I went in today to talk to Terry about it, he gave me a song and dance about needing approval from screen replacement company and then probably having to pay for it again. What?!?!! You do a crummy job and I have to pay again??? No, I don't think so. Really disappointing. I heard great things about this place, but will definitely have to inform my friends that this is NOT a place to go. $100 down the drain. My brother and his girlfriend came in here last week to get her phone fixed, and I just can't believe what happened. Terry not only did a bad job with the repair, he also scratched the back of her phone. After the repair her camera wasn't working properly, and he didn't fix it.He claimed it was a cable inside, but didn't address it. Don't waste your time at this place. I went in for replacement of a screen for iphone 7. The guy sold me on a $80 screen telling me that the $60 one was very low quality. On the first drop 2 days later the screen shattered and touch function stopped working partially and a week later the touch was not functioning at all. I called the store to explain what happened. He asked me to go to the store. When i went back to the store he tried selling me a $90 screen and now the cheaper one was $70 ($10 increase only a week later) needless to say i went to another place on Pch with much better reputation. I should have been alarmed when i first went in there was a customer who came in with same case as mine. Waste of time and money!! read more

A friend recommended this place because I needed my Iphone repaired immediately. We came in late night just after his business hours but he still accomodated us.
