I have a frugal fiancé who never likes to upgrade phones lol. but when he told me he was interested in the new iphone, i called in to check the stock on the color he liked because that meant he was serious on upgrading his phone. I called as soon as they opened up today 07/24 & my phone call was answered by an amazing sales associate named Chris. he told me phone of our choice was in store so we drove on over. Chris made the upgrade experience amazing, he def knew what he was doing & overall i am very pleased with the service we received today. definitely a big thanks to Chris for helping us in such a timely manner but still took time to explain the process, had us in and out, even allowed us to grab a bite to eat while he installed our screen protector + phone back up. definitely a good experience. read more

I was at the store last night and want to commend the two hard-working employees who managed a sudden rush of people with professionalism and grace under pressure. It was the last day of a Sprint special offer and they had a to. Of people coming in with less than an hour to closing. The two employees worked efficiently to help everyone before the store closed. They even had to deal with a rude woman who didn't want to wait to pay for a charger and just slammed $20 in cash on the display case and ran out. (Fortunately, she came back.) read more

My phone was stolen and I went to the store and got a new one and I was given NO paperwork. I left because they had closed and I was exhausted before I realized I had no receipt. I was on the phone over an hour and could not open the link on my email to get the document and they would not send me a copy or find any other way to get it to me...but to say I had to go to the store. I have been to the Walnut Creek store three times and had a terrible experience each time...The customer service is very poor and I have been a customer since 1999 or around there (except for one year) and they have gotten worse and worse. As soon as I straighten out my receipt I will look for another service. While I was in the store, I asked for a phone and was given incorrect info regarding different models' pricing. Then when I picked one it was hundred dollars more thatn i was told and I only found out when I went to sign the paperwork. I asked why and he said this one had extra memory w hich I didn't ask for and he never informed me of. I asked for the baisc model and I had to wait ten minutes for the safe to unlock....and then I walked out of there with NO PAPERWORK...I didn't even realize it becuase I was there for 90 mins and they had closed and I didn't want to keep them longer and I was upset from having just had my phone stolen....I have had other unsatisfactory experiences in their store...and there was no manager there...so they couldn't answer some of my questions. read more

Bought a screen protector from T-Mobile (they put it on) after 24 days it starts to bubble up When I returned it they say it's outside of the 14 day policy and the Compliance metrics Won't allow it, come on, stop it. Not the first time this stops has screwed me over. Best bet is to go to the Walnut Creek location. read more

My daughter and I recently visited Tmobile and Isaiah assisted us. It was the most informational and professional visit I have ever had at any Tmobile store and I have been a customer for 15+ years. Isaiah went over and beyond, provided us with excellent customer service, was extremely knowledgeable of products and services, and exhibited such professionalism. He did not rush us and was extremely patient in answering our questions. Just got back from what was hands down the easiest phone store experience ever. I've been with Verizon for the last two years and spending an INSANE amount of money on my phone bill so as soon as my contract expired I was on the prowl for a new provider that still had coverage in Alamo so that I can receive and make calls when I spend time at my parents home. T-Mobile's online map said they finally extended coverage so I went into the store with my new unlocked iPhone and prepared for an excruciating sign up process + up selling + everything else I've ever associated with a phone store. Stephanie, despite being busy with two other customers, greeted me and said she'd be right with me. I prepared for the worst. Instead, I had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I only waited five minutes and then Stephanie jumped right in and I had a new phone plan (month to month unlimited for under $100!?!?) within 15 minutes. She even offered me bottled water. Like, what? Unheard of. I never had an experience like this while at AT&T or Verizon. The store itself is brand new, they have music playing, and the staff seems to have this thing running like a well-oiled machine. If you do wait at all- there are chairs so you can sit, too. Highly recommended. Bravo. I'm shocked by how a brand new store could be working so well right out of the gate. Plus, the phone coverage is great at home. The coverage map was actually accurate! I had to visit twice in a one week period because I had old non 5 g compatible phones. The first time I was helped by Isaiah. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I came back I was helped by Adam. He was also helpful and patient. I was in the store when a difficult and demanding customer came in. She was rude and loud and insulting and saying that she was going to report her experience. Her main issue was that she had to wait 10 minutes for the safe to open. After a few minutes I said something to her. It was really hard to watch her treat the employees the way she was. That didn't help so I realized that if I continued to engage with her I would make things worse. Every employee was calm and courteous despite her abuse. I was really impressed. I had a great experience and will come to this store again and recommend team mobile. I was originally Sprint. read more

If I could give this a negative 5 stars I would. I came in the day after Christmas to exchange a phone I bought for my son cause he decided he wanted an apple mini instead mind you it was only 2 days after purchase and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee, activation fee plus a more down payment. This happened after I called before hand and told me it wouldn't be a problem. I just left feeling upset. This store and company are just trying to get more money from you. I wouldn't recommend anyone here and T-Mobile not a great service. Go try a different carrier. read more

Had a wonderful experience at this T-Mobile facility I came from San Leandro . We were told by the T-Mobile in bayfair in bayfair San Leandro to make an appointment at this facility to get a new new glass for our cell phone we Waited outside for a few minutes and they opened open and we told them we had an appointment at 8 and I asked what it was for we told them they were very nice and very congenial and they said that they don't do that repair that facility . I came over from AT&T to my wife's plan on T-mobile because they were having a $700 off promotion for eligible iPhones with a trade-in. I followed all the guides to the "T" to make sure I would get this promotion. After several billing cycles of being charged for the portion of the phone that was supposed to be covered by the promotion, and after several calls with T-mobile billing, I finally went into the store for help. The manager, Ken, told me to my face that he would help rectify this situation but just needed some time to reach out to the promotions team. When I followed up with him he LIED to me and told me I bought the phone one day outside of the promotion, which was utter nonsense. Ken couldn't have been more uninterested in T-mobile trying to scam me out of my promotion. I finally found a resolution with an agent through Facebook messenger of all places, which just goes to show that Ken did in fact lie as I was within the promotional guidelines. Don't go here if you want to deal with shady business practice and and a manager who gives you the runaround! read more

Ok the customer service people are great over here! We had the pleasure of having Charles as our support specialist. After dealing with Verizon's over priced plans for over 12 years we switched to T-Mobile and it's been great so far. Definitely serves our purpose and we saved over 50% on our bill! But I digress, Charles was awesome! He made the process easy for us, showed us there were no hidden fees and spoke to us respectfully and was extremely kind, unlike the Verizon customer service staff at the Walnut Creek store. Oh yes, I left them a review too, check it out if you have the time. Back to T-Mobile and Charles. The staff here is highly knowledgeable about their products and services. I will say it took a longer time than I was originally told but still no issues at all with Charles, the store or the service. Purchased a new phone through Costco and tried to process trade-in rebate online. Followed steps provided but it wasn't working (I was supposed to enter IMEI # of new device, not trade in device). Manager and friendly young sales person at WC T-Mobile walked through the process with me, despite the promo not having anything to do with the retail store. They quickly identified the error. Long story short, I had purchased a prepaid no data plan after being told on the T-Mobile 1-800 number that I would be eligible for the MLB.TV premium promotion from the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. Unfortunately, I learned that was not the case. I'm a huge baseball fan and getting this MLB.tv was important to me and one of the main reasons that I switched to T-Mobile. I came in and was greeted by Monae. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. She took care of my issue and switched me to a monthly plan with data that was eligible for this promotion. As a college student, she understood how I was looking for the best value and price and she took care of me. She even helped me signup and activate my MLB.TV subscription. It's so rewarding to meet a person like Monae who loves what they do and loves to take care of their customers! It's getting rare these days. Once in a Mars Retrograde I'll write a review that deserves being acknowledged. I wish I had remembered the name of the initial employee who helped me because she was also very professional kudos to her also. I'm not going to go into a lengthy explanation of what happened because the employee's go through tons of different scenarios concerning customers accounts, all that matters is was it resolved and what level of service did the customer get . In the beginning I was very confident my situation would be resolved, but life has a way of reminding us no it won't sometimes, within minutes that's what happened to me . I'm bald headed, steam started to rise from my head and I began to get angry . At this point I was being helped by Kimberly the assistant store manager . I don't know what she did, maybe some Jedi Force powers but she immediately calmed me down and used her great customer service skills to ensure that everything will be okay . She took the extra time to respond by researching my particular case . We had a great conversation during the process, laughing joking and just ya....everything went great . She was correct everything did end up going okay . T-Mobile is very fortunate, blessed and lucky to have a manager of her caliber representing the company . read more
