I visited T Nails several times last year with my daughter, and unfortunately, each visit resulted in issues with our gel polish chipping and peeling within just a few days. We returned to have the nails repaired, which understandably should not have required additional charges since the damage occurred within 48 hours and was not caused by us. After some time away, we recently decided to give them another chance because the location is very convenient for us. Sadly, we experienced similar problems again. One of my daughter's nails came off completely, and my own nails began cracking after only a few days. I'm not sure whether the issue is with the products being used or the application process, but the quality has continued to be disappointing. What was most upsetting, however, was the customer service when we returned for repairs. We were met with rude behavior, laughed at, and made to feel like an inconvenience simply for requesting corrections to work that was not done properly in the first place. It was honestly embarrassing for both me and my daughter. In addition, our requests during the appointment were not listened to. I asked for a specific nail shape, which was ignored, and when I politely requested that my tips be smoothed and straightened because several were noticeably slanted, the staff responded with attitude. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but with professionalism and respectful customer service matter. Unfortunately, the rude treatment and dismissive attitude outweighed any convenience this salon offers. Horrible quality, rude nail staff, overpriced. I went for a full set, she got made because I was correcting her mistakes. Then I asked to clean my cuticles and said that would be 7 extra. She asked do I like the base acrylic and I said no, and asked her to fix. I left before any paint and gel can be it on because of the attitudez I Came back the next day to have Tony fix them and the French tip is sloppy and rushed and a different price from what I was told the day before each time, and still was rushed . I was recently at T-Nails in Clayton NC. I had this man as a tech. He couldn't understand what I wanted. He didn't speak English . He did a crappy manicure. He just punched cuticles back and did not cut the cuticles off. He did do a great job on massaging hand and arms. When I had the pedicure , he only scrubbed the bottoms for a freaking minute not kidding at all. I have calluses on my side of my heels that desperately needed worked on. I did not get nails painted at all. I spent 73.00 on this. I was so disappointed . I have been coming here for years. read more

I've tried to give this salon a fair chance, but I've had a couple of frustrating experiences. My natural nails were filed down much too thin during a visit, which caused them to break soon after. Also, even when I schedule with a specific technician, I'm often placed with someone else. I think the salon could improve by honoring appointments as booked and being more careful with nail health. read more

I made an appointment about three weeks ago for my gel, fill-in gel pedicure, and I asked for Tiffany. I was told she's no longer there. I decided to continue to go let somebody else do my nails give it a try well during my pedicure the woman briefly went over my feet with the callus remover. I think one or two times didn't spend much time when she put the lotion on. She just put it on and rubbed my leg and my foot one time it was barely rubbed in at all. she was very Careless. I guess you could say that I moved onto my gel fill-in and the girl that did my nails. She was pretty good at through the nails, but she didn't have nice things to say to me about Tiffany, which I found very unprofessional and although I've been going there for almost a year, I won't be going back. I just moved to the area and needed an acrylic nail fill & gel polish. I asked my new hairdresser who she used, she recommended T-Nails. I searched online for the number and saw some really terrible reviews. I made an appointment and went anyway. I was greeted at the door and asked to pick out a color. I was seated at my techs desk immediately and received a beautiful nail job. I would expect the nails to hold up for three weeks, I expect they will. He did well but to note, never asked what shape I wanted on my nails. The lady that did my pedicure did a good job but never asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I go to the nail salon as a form of self care, a treat. I make sure to make an appointment before going most places. I show up on time, as per my appointment, to be basically dismissed. They took one look at me and said that I did not have an appointment w/o asking my name or checking their records. When I explained that I made an appointment and would like to start my service with my nails and not my feet, they promptly had other woman tended to and left me standing there. We pay your price and we expect quality work. The other tech advised us if she fixes it we have to pay her. Basically it's his mess and they are not cleaning it up. They assumed I didn't make an appointment after stating that I did. They didn't even check the computer to see. They started to yell at me that I don't understand. I remained calm, and left. My nails looks really good the girl did a good job the only reason I'm getting 3 stars is because I ask her for a design (flowers in 2 nails) she was trying to do but she was having a hard time (take it out and starting over again and again) so I told her to only painted my nails one color I was very disappointed. I went in last week to get a pedicure and a shellac. They had me sit in the spa chair immediately, which I liked. The girl who did my nails did a great job, the massage on my feet and legs felt amazing, and I usually don't care for that part. She took her time doing my toe nails and they came out perfect. Then, she helped me over to the manicure station where she did an amazing job shaping my nails. They looked amazing by the time I left! Unfortunately, about a day later the shellac peeled off one of my fingers completely. I went back in and they redid it for free and the girl even touched up a few of my other nails. I am very happy with the service I received here. Oh, and it all cost less than I was expecting ! UPDATE: every single nail, including the ones they just fixed, have chipped. Worst nail salon ever! Got a gel manicure that started peeling after 4 days. They refused to fix it stating gel manicures are only guaranteed for 3 days and that they don't work on everyone. My cousin and I had appointments at 3:30, but ended up waiting for 30 minutes before service started. They had overbooked and didn't manage their walk-ins very well. My cousin who was getting a pedicure was seated immediately. Since I was getting a manicure, I was left to find a seat in the middle of the room. When the lady finally came to do my manicure, she was in a hurry and was very rough. I received about a one-minute massage per hand. So, my nails were done in about 15 minutes. And she was very pushy about getting paid before she painted my nails. My cousin lives in Clayton and said that this salon had a good reputation. She commented that she wouldn't return to this salon. They are severely understaffed so you will wait about 45 mins in the chair and 45 mins with your feet pruny in the water before anyone comes over. They are rude and make you feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. There is no wifi and such bad service that even with data nothing will load on your phone. You will sit for the hour and a half staring at a wall. Then two days later one of my gel nails came off. They are supposed to last 2 to 3 weeks. That is what you pay extra for. After spending three hours and $94 on my nails two days before, I thought they would be nice about fixing the one nail, but they were so rude. I waited over 50 mins to fix that one nail. Without someone at the front desk, people don't get greeted and people get cut and forgotten about, they need a whole new system. Three other customers came in after me and one of the employee started working on their pedicure before me. They acted like l wasn't there. I don't normally get manicures, but my Honey got me a Gift Certificate for my birthday last month, and it was finally time to use it. I had "one of those days" and needed some pampering! Having said that, I'm no expert on Nail Salons. But this is just what the doctor ordered. I got a WONDERFUL Pedicure with my feet soaking in hot bubbly silky water in between gentle foot treatments. All the while I enjoyed an awesome Shiatsu Massage Chair. That thing rocked. The stereo played really relaxing oldies but goodies from years gone by, which I really respected. I had a magazine in my lap but my eyes were rolled back in my head too often to open it much. And of course my toes look amazing today! :-) Then I reluctantly had to leave all that while Tam guided me to the Manicure station. She did a great job and I'm typing today with beautiful French Manicured nails. I need to do this more often!! This is place is not fancy or pretentious; it is owned an operated by nice Asian folks who provide all the basics at reasonable prices. I have gone to Salons that were so full of themselves that I felt like I had to get dressed up just to go, and then be questioned non-stop about my life story rather than relaxing. I was horrified by my experience this morning at this salon. I went in wanting a manicure and pedicure. I was interested in trying the new powder manicure, which I had never gotten. Tiffany started doing my manicure when I noticed that she hadn't trimmed my cuticles. When I asked if she was going to fix my cuticles, she said it wasn't part of this type of manicure. She said I should have said that I wanted my cuticles done. Which I didn't understand, because I thought that was standard. She said she would trim them after the manicure. When she was finished, I noticed the color was wrong. It wasn't the color I had picked out. Tiffany was arguing with me about that, and I asked to look at the color strips. She had done the manicure in the wrong color, and she seemed really annoyed. It wasn't my fault, there was obviously a miscommunication and a bit of a language barrier. She then started dipping my nail in the color I wanted, but it looked really thick. So I asked her to take the nails off. I wasn't satisfied, and I was uncomfortable because all she was doing was complaining while she was doing my nails. The manager came over and said I'd still have to pay for manicure. I said I wasn't going to pay for them, because I wasn't satisfied. He asked if I was refusing to pay, I said no, I'd pay for the pedicure, but not the manicure. He then said he was going to call the police because I was refusing to pay. I said call the police. I went to pay for the pedicure, and wanted to step outside to get some air. The manager pushed me away from door and said I had to stay until the police got there. I said I wasn't going to leave, that I wanted to talk to the police as well. Tiffany and the manager followed me outside, they were taking pictures of me. When the police arrived, I explained what happened. I overheard the manager tell the police that I was screaming at them, and that I had pushed him! Which was a complete lie! I was instructed that I had to pay for the service, and was escorted back into the salon to pay for the manicure. After which the police officer told me of another salon to go to. I will never go back this salon ever again! I contacted my bank because I intend to contest this charge. The bank has said they would be an advocate for me, and that they would fight to get my money back. I was again horrified, embarrassed, and my nails look like crap. read more

I don't write reviews to be degrading or negative but to inform others of my experience. I went to "TNails" for the first time today... At first it seemed like any other "nail place". You walk in, they acknowledge you, ask you to select a color, and they seated me all within 5 mins of me walking through the the door (check). I sat in the pedicure chair- and they started the foot bath... ...only to leave me for 20 mins (which felt like eternity!) Now don't get me wrong- I love rest, relaxation, and pampering- but this was no spa! The windows were filthy dirty, they had a toddler there with a day bed on the floor, my foot bath was getting colder by the minute, and they did not add the tablet to make it bubbly. So I thought to myself- I should just walk out- but I was actually being treated by someone ... The more I observed how things were going on in there, I realized that the nail salon I go to back in Alexandria, VA was so amazing! Although the owners were nice, I felt like the fluidity of the place could've been better. In conclusion, I was happy with the results of my pedicurist. I sat under the dryer for 10 mins only to realize it was not on, and I messed up one of my big toes. I did not make a fuss over it- I most likely won't go back. read more

They are consistently busy, but I know they are trying the best they can. I had a nail chip two days after my initial manicure and they fixed it for me no question. I did have to wait around for a little while on a Saturday and that was not ideal. But that's something out of their control. They've got a revolving door all day on Saturday and I doubt they take a lunch and some of them even have to bring their children is which I'm sure is stressful. There is some bad reviews on here about this place. I was there today and my experience was great. I had a mani and deluxe pedi. My technician was Juliette. She is sweet and does a great job. I was there for 2 hours and 15 min. I got there just at opening up time, which was 9 am. First of all when you go to these kinda places please make sure you have the time. Yes you have to wait sometimes and yes for awhile at times. If you don't like it you may go some place else. Also the owners are not rude.
