Santorini Nail Lounge was a delightful surprise. First of all, it is bright, clean and elegant without being over the top. I was very comfortable. Everyone was polite and efficient. I was there for a pedicure and Maya was my technician. She was very good and I was happy with the outcome. She was understanding of my request to not use pure acetone at all. I brought my own polish and polish remover. The basic pedicure was $30. Services have inflated quite a bit over the years but I think that they are in line with the current economy. The nail techs, Bill and Cindy started working on our nails and were very nice and friendly. Bill did a wonderful job on my pedicure and made sure I had a great experience. Cindy did my friends nails and she was so kind. Inside the establishment is very clean and pretty. The massage chairs are so nice. The customer service was pretty good and they were nice. My problem was the actual process of getting my nails done. I went for a full set of Acrylic Nails, and my eyebrows. The lady who did my nails was nice however she was very aggressive with my hands and it hurt. She was grinding my nails down a-lot and even cut the side of one of my fingers. I had no wait as a walk-in and asked for an sns manicure and a regular pedicure. They're basic pedicure goes for 30 bucks and includes a very thorough, callous removal. I've never had my feet so smooth and I go to the nail shop on the regular. All of their pedicure chairs are also massage chairs so make sure to take advantage of that as soon as you sit down. Great nail color selection and they were able to easily match my toenail polish to one of the dip colors. Dip ran around $45 if I remember correct. It was very quick and efficient, done while I was still in the pedicure chair and extremely neat. No excess polish stuck in my cuticles or on my fingers. The staff here are super considerate and removed a tip at no charge for a woman who came in randomly as I was sitting under the UV light drying my toes. I would definitely come back again and I'm honestly surprised the rating for this place is not higher.

None of the customers were watching the game, yet the staff reacted to it as if they were at a sports bar. The constant yelling and loud outbursts became so distracting that they gave me a headache. I even put on my headphones to try to block out the noise, but then realized I shouldn't have to do that just to enjoy a manicure and pedicure. A salon should provide a calm, relaxing environment where customers can enjoy their services. These people were rude and disrespectful. This wasn't an isolated incident. On previous visits, I've also experienced staff members laughing and carrying on very loud conversations with one another during my appointments. While it's nice to see employees enjoying their work, the focus should remain on creating a pleasant, peaceful experience for customers. The one bright spot was the woman who performed my pedicure. She was kind, professional, and did an excellent job. I truly appreciated her service. I hope management will recognize that the customer experience should always come first.

I barely waited 2 minutes when the same staff member came back up to me and asked me what services I was coming in for and I explained I had an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure. She walked me right over to a pedicure chair and told me my nail tech would be right over. They started the water for me and I waited/soaked for about 8 minutes and Tina greeted me. It's a family-run business (husband, wife, and mom on occasion), and you can tell they truly care about their work. The designs are always on point and beautifully done.
