Not bad, but not the best. Given the lack of boba places in the area, this is considered good. Definitely better than quickly. Food/snacks here are meh/subpar in my standards. I say this cause the popcorn chicken is mostly fat more than meat and the fried tofu was kinda soggy. I've had their potstickers before too and it was very bland if you dont dip it with a side of sweet and sour sauce. However, their drinks are actually decent. If you're not starving, then I recommend just getting drinks. They have a good variety of drinks ranging from tea to milk teas to smoothies. You can adjust sugar and ice level. They have a variety of toppings. The one topping that I do wish they have is the mini boba, which they dont have :( but at least they have coffee jelly. When you first bite into the wonton, you get the warm crunchy sensation from the wonton, and then you get the crab mixture in the middle. They fried them perfectly to perfection with the right amount of crunch and just enough filling inside. It also comes with your choice of sauces, which I got sweet chili to add a little beat of heat to each bite. The Okinawa milk tea is the brown sugar tea, and I love it best drink I have had in a while. Love their boba and their milk tea, the drinks tend to be very consistent and you always know you're getting something good every time. It's never anything phenomenal, but will always get that milk tea craving satisfied. I love that you can customize your drink's sweetness and ice levels, and add as many topping as you want. Is it expensive, well it is like the price of going to Starbucks $4.25 to $4.75 drinks and then there is the toppings to consider which can be an extra 50 to 75 cents depending on what you get. They have a good variety of snacks to choose from. We tried the egg puffs, the spare ribs must get and popcorn chicken. You can get the chicken in white or dark or a mix which is very nice. I've been here many times since they opened and it's my favorite place in Folsom for boba drinks. They're tucked away in a corner in the same plaza as the BJs and the H&R Block here. It can get very busy on the weekends with mainly a younger crowd, but it's never been an issue. It's a really relaxed but fun environment where you can get a drink and snacks, play a board game/cards (they provide them), and plenty of seats/tables. I've always had friendly service. The drinks are quite good and they always have a promo going if you're signed up for the rewards system. I like their snacks as well. The crab wontons are a must if you go. Fabulous boba milk tea in Folsom? Yep! The T4 franchise has a great concept: Fresh brewed tea, made the way you like it! You can decide the level of sweetness and ice, request extra milk to tea ratio, pick your toppings and even ask for a variety of flavors. I suppose you could say it's like the old avertising slogan, "you can have it your way". Being a frequent (ok, very frequent) visitor of the T4's downtown and in South Sacramento, when I happened to be in the Folsom area, I had to try out the newly opened T4. Truth, I had a hard time finding it. This location is set in an extended outdoor development and is not very accurate on any map, google or waze. After circling around for a bit, I found it back in a corner of the large complex next to a dentist office. There is ample parking. This T4 is small, but neat and clean with large boards on the walls advertising the special drinks and top items. It bore the similar look of the others with an open counter and sparse tables and chairs. It was a little empty of decor, but I believe this location had just recently opened. The counter staff seemed shy, but they were friendly. I ordered my fave, black milk tea (no sugar or ice...I love a strong tea flavor) with extra boba and added the "white" boba this time....they used to call it the "Panda". Due to the fact they were new, it took some "negotiation" to have counter staff understand my order. It took longer than usual, however when I finally received my drink I was happy to discover it was on par with the other T4's: Strong tea, great boba and a good milk to tea ratio. For me, the success of this chain is in the fresh tea and perfectly cooked boba. Delicious! I love knowing I can count on a good solid drink at each location. Small but notable...the prices are higher than the other locations, while size was the same. Even though I paid more for extra boba, they were a little "light-handed" with the serving. It was an extra 30% higher in price for my normal order, so either it's because of the Folsom area, or they just had higher prices. Despite the prices, I do like knowing I can get quality, fresh tea when in this area. read more
