Ordered food from uber eats and were very disappointed. The red curry was watery and white with little tofu and veggies, the spicy basil tofu and cashew chicken had more bamboo shoots than anything else. The fried rice was just okay. While the spice level was great we didnt enjoy the actual veggies and meat in the meal, cant say we will be using uber eats again. I love Thai Chili to Go Drunken Noodles so when this place came to my neighborhood I was excited because it was so close. I tried their beef drunken noodles and the beef was boiled and tasteless along with the noodles and carrots that were not cooked well and again very bland taste. For $17.25 what a waste of money. Definitely my favorite Thai place in town- but I'm docking them a point because they're always a little inconsistent. I'll usually order the spiciest option, and it varies with how spicy it usually is. Also, a couple times, the food has been cold despite picking it up right away. But, the food really is terrific. We were looking for a new Thai place and ventured out to Ta Lew Thai for the fiancés birthday. Food was fresh, aromatic and delicious! Decor is cute & cozy, I loved the lofted seating area! Service was friendly, prompt and very accommodating. We enjoyed the spring rolls, green curry with veggies and Evil Jungle Princess. Everything was phenomenal and very generous in the portion sizes. Spice scale is on point too!! We ordered the coconut pineapple ice cream for birthday dessert- it was sooo good! Dangerous to know this place is on my way home from work! We will definitely be back. Terrible food. Pad Thai tastes like it was made with watered down ketchup and sugar, vegetables are so over cooked that they are deteriorating. The green curry is watery and the vegetables are brownish grey and horribly over cooked. I don't recommend this food for anyone! read more

Just tried this place for my first time. I got chicken Pad Thai mild. They forgot to add the egg and the sauce was light red and had a super odd taste.Ended up throwing both orders away. A co-worker recommended Ta Lew Thai Bistro, so three of us decided to check it out. We ordered dumplings and spring rolls as an appetizer. I don't eat spring rolls, but my friends said they were great. I loved the dumplings and the sauce that comes with them. For our entrees, we did a red curry, ginger chicken and orange chicken. The red curry was delicious. I ordered it a little spicy, and it definitely was - with some great flavor too. The orange chicken had a great orange flavor. The ginger chicken was also very good - love the tang of the ginger. The service was also top notch. We got refills on our drinks quickly, and they were very attentive to see if we needed anything else. I love that this is a local place not a chain - and will definitely be back! read more

We go here allllll the time we loved it! It's a bit of a drive for us, and it's expensive too but it was one of the best Thai places we have in Arizona so we don't mind paying extra and driving far. WE WASTED AN HOUR OUT OF OUR DAY FOR SOMEONE ELSES MISTAKE. Let me start off by saying I've worked in customer service so I get some people are just looking for free food and a reason to get upset. But Their customer service was horrible. The lady I spoke to literally laughed at me on the phone repeatedly. I'm 39 weeks pregnant so that hit me extra hard. We literally order the same food every single time. This time we ordered the food and it was HORRIBLE. It tasted disgustingly bland. I called and let them know, there was no apology she kept insisting that it wasn't their fault because they use the same recipe every time. Which I'd guess but ya know, human errors occur and sometimes things in the recipe are forgotten. We had to drive ALLL the way back to their place, they wanted the food back which is gross. I have no idea what they're doing with it. Hopefully they aren't serving it back up to people. I am just so sad because this was our favorite place to go and they were so rude I just can't go back there and spend 40 dollars on our soup and two dishes. read more

We took a shot at Ta Lew Thai Bistro and are sure glad we did. We placed a phone order and it was ready in 15 mins. We tried 4 dishes and they were all outstanding in flavor and appearance. We tried the Pad See Ew with beef (medium spice)Panang Curry with chicken (mild spice), Eggplant Wok (medium spice) and finished with some Pineapple Fried Rice. The spice was spot on, just right. Veggies were fresh and abundant, which is very nice. The meats were tender and flavorful. Each dish had it's own flavor profile and was just delicious. Stopped in on this tiny little Thai food restaurant. Wasn't sure what to expect. But for a little tiny place they sure do deliver a great meal. They made use of every inch of space in this tiny space. The food is very delicious and I'm a food snob. They have a limited menu, but that's ok! With what they do serve up, you expect very fresh and tasty Thai food and our meal was very good and our server was very sweet. The food here is amazing, the service is great, and the staff are what really keep me coming back above all. I have celiac disease, so getting any dish other than Pad Thai or a curry at any Thai restaurant can be a challenge. Talew is highly accommodating, and can make fried rice gluten free, Tom Kha soup GF, and some stir fry's, just to name a few! I consistently come here, and would recommend it to anyone.
