We waited almost 30 minutes for 2 orders of eggs benedict. How long does it take to poach some eggs and english muffins and top it off with some Hollandaise sauce? Usually the egg yolks are runny. This one was way overcooked. Luckily the sauce and the crispy potatoes on the side saved the breakfast. Other than that the restaurant itself is pretty clean and quiet in the morning. The steak is cooked perfectly medium rare, soft, juicy and pinky. Salmon is nicely seared. Shrimps are juicy. The risotto is well prepared and gets distinctly flavored. The seafood is nice but a little too far on the spicy scale. Petite potato, asparagus, bell peppers, mushrooms, baby bok Choy are all nicely prepared. Dill and parsley complimented the seafood flavorfully. Unfortunately, we don't have room for dessert. Lost the picture of the shared plate. It's not the high end of fine dining but it's ok. If you stayed in the hotel, there 10% off coupon. Or the sister hotel offered a $25 off for a romantic package too. Give them a try.

Dishes are all single notes that don't maintain interest. Above all else, our server Sidd was surprisingly inattentive. Initially, he seemed to be helpful with his service and input, but moments later, his attention seemed to reach a cliff. He seemed far more interested in hanging out by the pass and talking to coworkers than ensuring tables are tended to and water was filled in the fairly-empty restaurant. We had the focaccia to start, followed by the green bean tempura (served with fries, salsa and ketchup) and tuna poke bowl. The focaccia was huge, but very light, and came with dipping oil. Both mains were very good - fresh ingredients and clearly freshly prepared. We accompany them with some alcohol free lager, and the waitress kept us topped up with water throughout the meal. They realized the issue and made a course correction on our bills which was appreciated. I hade the pork chops and I'll say the plating presentation was good but the quality of the the chops not so much, now I've worked in the industry in the past so I usually give a wide birth when it comes to the doneness of my proteins. But these were over cooked or seemed to have been cooked from a frozen state because they were dry as an Alberta summer. Not to mention tough and for that reason is why I'm only giving a 3 out of 5. Pork chops should be cooked through but full of juice these definitely missed the mark. The other components of the dish were great cooked proper with a perfect balance of seasoning. I'd come stop in again if I was in town but I'd probably wouldn't get the chops again.
