I was really excited to try this new spot. I ordered to go today and I got a falafel wrap with babaganosh. My boyfriend got the lamb wrap. I have never had a falafel wrap in a flour tortilla. This was the worst falafel wrap I have had. The amount of sumac, onions and parsley overwhelm the whole thing and being made in Flour Tortilla does not help. My boyfriend said the meat tasted unseasoned and his tortilla was filed with juice and over seasoned too. The Babaganug was very Smokey and not good. My boyfriend liked the lemon mint drink and Cheese Fatayer. I paid almost 60 dollars for this meal. The quality of this place is not good. Don't waste your money here. read more

We picked up 3 takeout dinners at the 10895 Los Alamitos Blvd location two days ago. It was my first time there. The service was friendly and helpful. We got 3 Taboon Mixed Grill orders. I swapped my kefta kabab for beef, and the other two orders swapped the kefta and chicken for lamb. All the changes involved small charges, but that was OK. All the dinners were delicious and included hummus, Mediterranean salad, rice, and garlic sauce. There was a generous amount of meat; I made 3 satisfying meals out of mine. We will be tempted to order from them again the next time we're in town. read more

Pros: Food quality is excellent. Meat is tender and flavorful. Service is pleasant and efficient. Cons: Compared to other kabob grill places in Huntington Beach or Westminster, pricing is at least 20% higher for same quality. Nickel and dime you on turnips and garlic sauce. You pay extra if you want more than 2 turnips and 1 tiny garlic container. It's not the .50, why? One single pita. Most provide anywhere from 5 smaller pita, or 3 large pita. It's flour and water, why skimp? Taboon may think it's about trendy websites and catchy branding. It is not. You will always be compared to competing mom n' pop places where it's "garlic, how many you want" or "turnips, olives, onions, just tell me what you like". I love Taboon Mediterranean off of Atlantic and was so excited to see this location in Los Al. It's set up for more of a to-go business, but we sat in. We got the Chicken Kabab wrap with fries for lunch and it's amazing how delicious chicken and pickles can be! The pickled beets on the side are a plus too! Great new addition to our very limited food scene here in town. Menu is expansive and offers great offerings. We ordered delivery, so can't speak to physical location. First time customer last night. Got take out for my wife, and a few grandchildren. Nicest people in the world! Food was excellent. We got a real mix so we could sample: chicken, shrimp, and meat kabobs, lamb chops, lots of hummus, and, of course, baklava for dessert. All fresh and cooked in front of us. We highly recommend Taboon for lunch or dinner. I forgot to mention that one of our sons recommended Taboon and that is part of the reason we went here. He was right to send us here. Was just driving by and this place really caught my attention. I think the inside is very comfortable and cozy. The staff is all very nice, and cooperative. Their menu has much too choose from and can feed quite a lot of people. Their proportions are very well sized and you pay for what you get. Honestly - I was so excited that a Mediterranean place opened up locally. Los Alamitos -Down the street. Open Sesame isn't to far- but something closer would be great. However I was very disappointed with the food. It had no flavor. I am addicted to good quality middle eastern food - it's my favorite. This place was horrible. I paid open sesame prices for tasteless food. No salt, spicy humus had a sweet ketchupy flavor. fatoush salad dressing wasn't edible it was on the sweetish side. Truly disappointed. Pita was stale. I was unsure but gave Taboon a try because it has 25+ strong reviews. This is not one of the 5 star reviews. The first thing tried when my order arrived was the baklava. The second bite never happened bc the first was so poor. The dough was as stiff as a rock. Couldn't chew through it. Take note Taboon, my order was made Sunday evening 8/7/22. The lamb was cooked properly and tasted good but nothing else really had much flavor. An onion was lightly grilled and the tomato was likely pressed down with a spatula to have grill marks but the vegetable and tomato weren't cooked well. The rice was boring too. Lets be honest about where you get your pita bread and try again. Over all I wouldn't recommend and have had better food at Chicken Maison chains. read more

The best takeout Mediterranean food since before covid started. So glad I finally found them after a few bad tries. Nothing burnt, nothing overcooked. Steak kabob medium is tender and slightly pink in the middle. So is lamb. Cold sides - great, hot sides -great. Family meal is plentiful (I ordered extra meat as my family likes protein).
