Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen needed an appetizer for an impromptu gathering. So glad we stopped here. We order the fantastic baba ganush with pita bread. It was delicious and everyone loved it. We will be back for more menu items! The end.

I was craving some Mediterranean food and immediately typed it in on yelp and saw that I was not far from this particular spot upon arrival I was a little skeptical because of how small the facility was and I really wanted to dine in, but I'm actually happy I gave it a chance the workers were extremely nice made. You feel very comfortable very welcoming like I said the facility was small, but it was very clean and I like how you're able to see the kitchen. The menu has a wide selection. I end up getting the cauliflower and also the mixed plate and both were absolutely amazing 10 out of 10 so much flavor so much food that I was able to share. I would definitely go back and try some more items on their menu and I will definitely recommend this spot for my Mediterranean food lovers.

I was craving for some lamb, so I Yelp'd this place on a whim and came with the kids after school. It's a small family owned shop with some seating and a kitchen area putting out the goods. The service was quick and friendly, but you're here to read about the food. ;) I ordered the Lamb Wrap, and it was everything I hoped for - plenty of lamb, cooked at a perfect medium-rare, with hummus, pickles, pickled turnips, tahini, and a mix of other spices and flavors. Exactly what I was looking for! My daughter got the same thing, but with chicken instead, and was beyond pleased. My son ordered the rice bowl - it comes with two different rices, pita, and many of the same items that came in our wrap, just deconstructed. It's a good sized bowl - the only gotcha was that while our wraps were full of meat, his rice bowl only came with 4 small chunks of beef which was a bit surprising so I shared some of my lamb with him and tried some of his rice - which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. In all we'll certainly be returning - I may pass on the rice bowl, but the wraps were a good vertex of price vs. amount, and the quality of the food is certainly worth it! :)

Just as great as their other location. Went with the kofta and the chicken kabobs with spicy hummus and the mediterranean salad. The meats were a little on the dry side but the seasoning and taste made up for it. Wish they gave more pita bread for the amount of hummus given.

So yummmmmmmy! This time we added a salmon kebab to the order for takeout and it was amazing. We enjoyed fattoush salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, and garlic sauce with grilled onions and tomatoes and pitas and two types of rice. The pitas are super thin and light. Order ahead of time and then pick up is fresh and quick!

First time for my wife and me at this quaint restaurant. The inside has four small tables for two and one outside on the side walk. They also have "bar" seating along one side of the wall. Order at their counter. The food was good. Chicken was tender, salad is salad, and rice my wife loved. I had dessert, their Ashta ice cream with Baklava. Oh my, so delicious. A tip, they add sweet syrup so let them know if you like the Baklava to be sweet, or mild, or none at all!! Bill our server was very polite!

Lamb Kabab Bowl w/ Lamb Chop 9/10 - lamb medium/ rare done meat, not too chewy - Lamb hop was really tender - Rice was really delicious - A lot of flavor going on when you added all their sauces Lamb Kabab Wrap 1/5 - Lamb medium/ rare was too chewy, basically had to spit out the majority of the meat - Lacked flavor, very plain - No dipping sauces - lentil soup was pretty decent - Wrapped in a flower tortilla, I wish it was pita bread Zahrah ( Cauliflower) 10/10 - great seasoning - Taste very citrusy with some Parmesan cheese - Would recommend trying out this appetizer Falafels 10/10 - Authentically home made - can't go wrong with ordering these This is an updated review. I have gone to this place three times. The first two times my expectations weren't met. The third occasion I went the owner wanted to redeem himself so he asked me to come give them another try. I will say the third time I was not let down. The meat was done to my liking and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The customer service here is great, the cashier at the front desk is very kind and patient. The owner of the restaurant is very kind, you can tell he cares about his restaurant and his customers. This is their smaller location so it has a very intimate mom and pop feeling.

LAMB KABAB stuff got mixed together on my drive home but it was still delish

Really good plate with good potions! Loved the pickled veggies on the side. Cute store. Quick service.

The salad was also well seasoned, someone definitely has a good touch with seasoning back there. What I don't understand is why this place is so empty. The food is solid, the ambience is pleasant, and everything, from the tables to the surrounding area, is clean and well kept. The music was a great touch too: a nice Italian 90s mix with strong vocals, which I especially appreciated as someone who speaks Italian. Overall, a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

She asked us to wait while she cleaned up a table on the outside , surprising to me because there was nobody outside nonetheless we waited. Our server was a man whose service was subpar to say the least he rarely checked up on us, and when it was time for us to receive our food, one of the guests in my party did not receive their food at the same time as the others, it seemed as though they might have forgotten to make that guest's dinner so he had to wait an extra 15 minutes the waiter and another waiter would come to the table and ask him what did you order again? What was it again? Which demonstrated unorganized employees, considering they took our order they should just reference that instead of coming back-and-forth multiple times and making the guest wait longer each time. I ordered a chicken Parm Panini with chicken soup. The chicken Parm sandwich was average however, I was disappointed with the size of the chicken. I lifted the bread and there was a measly morsel of chicken, considering the price of a Panini; I was expecting a bit more! The chicken soup was horrible. It tasted like water with hardly any broth. They threw in random vegetables with dry shredded pieces of chicken, my other guests who had chicken soup also disliked the quality and taste of the soup. Poor selection of drinks. Overall, poor service, bland food. When it was time to pay our waiter didn't show up so I walked to the front and asked for the bill then paid there. For almost 200$ this was a disaster; I will look into other Mediterranean restaurants.

Buffet Lovers May Enjoy This One, But It Wasn't Quite Our Flavor…read more Hubby and I were on the hunt for a new spot to try and stumbled upon this Mediterranean buffet while browsing Yelp. First things first -- plenty of parking in the plaza, so no need to circle around hunting for a spot. We arrived around 3:30 PM, and since weekday lunch pricing is $21.99 per person from 11 AM-4 PM, we were pleasantly surprised when the hostess kindly allowed us to stay through the transition until 4:30 PM before dinner pricing kicked in. That was definitely appreciated! The ambience is what you'd expect from a buffet: open, spacious, and filled with plenty of tables for larger groups and families. Now onto the food... One thing I really enjoyed was the impressive selection of appetizers and dips. There were several varieties of hummus including spicy hummus, avocado hummus, baba ghanoush, along with a sauce station featuring tahini, tzatziki, and garlic sauce. If you're a dip-and-spread person, you'll probably be pretty happy here. They also had multiple rice options and a variety of proteins. Most of the selections consisted of different styles of chicken, along with fried fish and grilled fish. I believe the lamb shank is only offered during dinner service or on weekends, so unfortunately we missed out on that. As for the food itself, this is where the experience became a little mixed for us. While there were certainly a lot of choices, many of the dishes felt surprisingly similar, and overall the food lacked the bold Mediterranean flavors we were hoping for. Most items were fairly mild and a bit bland for our taste. Nothing tasted bad, but very little stood out enough to make us want to go back for seconds. For dessert, they offered baklava, pistachio rice pudding, and a few other sweet treats, which was a nice way to end the meal. Service, however, was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, so I'd easily give the service 5/5 stars. Overall, I landed at 3 out of 5 stars. I appreciate the buffet concept, the variety, and the wonderful service, but for hubby and me, flavor is king. Unfortunately, the food just didn't have enough seasoning or wow factor to make us want to return for a second visit. If you're looking for a Mediterranean buffet with lots of options, it may be worth trying once and deciding for yourself. Happy eats!

I was so hopeful I would love Mama's Kitchen. Unfortunately, I left so disappointed…read more I recognize they have a decent average Yelp rating. I have a hunch, though, this is due to either its previous ownership or the fact many of those rating the restaurant have a limited familiarity of Mediterranean cuisine. We walked-up at lunchtime on a Saturday. Granted, not necessarily the busiest day/time for a restaurant, but the place was absolutely empty. This caused some hesitation, but we took a chance. The person at the counter was friendly, but clearly had a limited knowledge of the cuisine. The restaurant's atmosphere was nice so, again, decided to give the place a whirl. We ordered Kafta plates. Large plates of food soon arrived, but it was immediately apparent the food was not freshly prepared. Both the meat and the rice had that prepared-much-earlier look and taste. Had the meat been freshly grilled, maybe my opinion would have been better but, as-is, a subpar experience. I hope Mama's Kebab steps-up its game. Quantity and pricing are important but, for those of us familiar with Mediterranean cuisine, quality and taste is what's most important.
