I know there's a lot of bad reviews for this place regarding order mix up but they have yet to mess up mine so I'm rating this one high. This place is super close to where I'm staying at and gee...I've gone here a lot and it doesn't count the number of check ins. I mean before I even had a yelp account. I have ordered crunchy supreme wrap, Mexican pizza, soft taco, crunchy taco, the box order, quesaritto beef and steak, um a bunch of $1 items since I was curious how good they were for that cheap and how filling. So I have ordered a lot of food..just not the drinks cause I'm good with water XD I have never used the drive in since why wait in my car and waste when I can use my two legs to go get the few feet of exercise before chowing down a bunch of calories I didn't burn. Hey, it's good ole standard, been around my entire life, Taco Bell. They have a few new items on the menu that I wanted to try since I like spicy stuff. I had the volcano taco with fire sauce. It was tasty but not as hot as I expected. I got Doritos tacos for my little guy and he was quite happy with them. I LOVE the frutista freeze drinks! Had the strawberry one. Worse service ever... I waited for six minutes; nobody else was in this location when I entered it. Two employees saw me and looked directly at me and didn't even look at me or acknowledge that I was trying there. I made it known to the gentleman that began to take my order; an female came out and interrupted my communication. She didn't smile, she just took my order and the payment for the food. I am really disappointed. This is usually a solid Taco Bell location but they royally screwed up a very simple order - twice. I went through the drive through and asked for a few grilled steak soft tacos. This is a pretty basic item, and I've never had an issue ordering it before. I had to repeat it a few times for the guy before he finally rang it up. It looked wrong on the screen, but I've seen them do it a few times. I asked, "That's the grilled steak soft taco?" He said yes. I got my food and drove away - my mistake. I was in a hurry and just assumed they knew how to do their jobs. When I got to my friend's house and looked in the bag... I couldn't even tell you what they gave me, but it was crunchy and burnt and didn't have anything inside it that I recognized. I figured it was a fluke and took a chance on this location again a few months later. I went inside this time and asked for grilled steak soft tacos. I saw them ring it up wrong again. I told the woman that it looked wrong and the last time I ordered this here, I got it wrong. She had to get a manger to show her how to ring it up. That time I did get what I was supposed to, but not without some hassle. I'm not really sure what the issue is. The food is relatively good and it's usually fast. But I can't understand why ordering a taco from Taco Bell is such an ordeal. read more

I've driven past this tiny location a million times, and I finally stopped in. Their drive through always look slammed, but there was no wait inside. It's a small interior dining area, but I was impressed at how clean and orderly it was... I think the hot sauce packets were all facing the same direction and lined up! My double chicken burrito was delicious. I try not to eat too much fast food, so I don't know when I'll be back again, but I might not dismiss this restaurant so quickly in the future. read more

And this TB location actually managed to screw up my order twice within 3 days. Both times I came in at lunch time. First time it was the wrong tacos (soft/hard). I placed an order in the drive thru. They asked me if I wanted sauce and I told them yes. I get to the window the girl gives me an order I check the bag and there is no sauce. I told her there was no sauce in the bag and she said she's not the one who puts the sauce in the bag. She gets mad and gives me 4 sauces. I asked if I can please get more she said NO that's all you get and shuts the window. I stayed there tried to get her attention and then she opens the window And I asked her if I can please get more sauce she said no. She said there is a limit only two per item. I said can you please give me more size since I have four items. Another person came to the window to see what was going on since she was so angry and she told her she keeps asking for more and more and more. All I wanted was some more sauce. The staff at this location have always been very friendly the many times I've come. My last visit in particular is what motivated me to write this good review as it was lunch hour & the drive thru was crazy hectic but Jorge, who was working drive thru managed to handle the high volume of customers really well & had such a great attitude during our whole interaction despite the overwhelming rush hour. I understand that dealing with customers can be stressful but being rude to a customer when they are being respectful isn't okay. Yadaris went ahead and took our order and asked if we wanted hot sauce and my mom answered yes, apparently she didn't hear. Once we got our food there wasn't any, she goes ahead and complains that we answered no. It seems like Yadaris was upset that she had to take a couple steps to get what the customer asked for. I don't eat junk food often but when I do it has to be Taco Bell. The few times I've been here I've never had any issues with my order. I've only gone through their Drive-Thru and they always ask me to double check my order on the screen. The employees here always have a big smile on their face. They must love taco bell as much as I do. My favorites: Taco Supreme: crunchy taco with tons of beef and sour cream. Burrito Supreme: The tortilla is always so warm and fresh. Nachos Bell Grande: None of the nachos are ever soggy. Cheese quesadilla w/out the sauce: Cheese and tortilla, you can never go wrong. Cinnamon Twist: Crunchy sweet delightfulness. We go here all the time because we live in the 'hood. While it's Midwestern Mexican, it's not too bad. Taco Bell is pretty solid. I remember going when I was a kid and it was a shady adobe walk-up stand. Then I remember going in college when they did super price bargains (39-79 cents for all menu items) and that was great. In the middle epoch, the place has been pretty reliable as they've gone through various marketing phases (chalupa anyone? Mexican pizza? double stuffed taco? the talking chihuahua?) So we go here and they have their new Fresco Menu. Taco Bell's version of Subway's Jared is saying she lost serious weight on Taco Bell food. OK, I guess I'll order from the shiny green menu because it's allegedly healthier but costs a bit more. But we're both vegetarians. Wife full-time, me 70% of the time. They have a lot of veggie options! Bean and cheese burritos, potato tacos, etc. This place is fast and they're fairly nice. Decided to stop by for a quick tostada. They just recently remodeled this location and so we decided to eat there. Now Taco Bell is a fast food restaurant - yes. And of course their not advertising gourmet meals, so going to this restaurant you know what you are going for. The reason I felt the need to write a review was because of the Will. Will is a worker at Taco Bell. He was so professional friendly and helpful. He took his job seriously and with great respect. I love that character about people. It shows you that they did perfect with this hire. I would go back here just because of his service. My tostada was great and the pink lemonade for some reason was just out of this world today. Taco Bell Is Taking On Subway in the healthy fast food game! Drive thru diet is Taco Bell's re-introduction of their fresco menu. Basically they take your favorite taco bell menu items and they replace the cheese, sour cream and all the other sauces with tasty fresco salsa effectively making Taco Bell a low fat option for the drive thru! The salsa is so good I actually prefer it on some of the burritos and tacos they offer, give it a shot! Plus burritos under 9 grams of fat is something I should be eating way more often than my triple steak burrito. If you're on a diet and trying to do the subway thing every day, this can spice a little variety to a lifestyle that can get quite dull after awhile. I do miss the .59 .79 .99 deal they had back in the 80s but hey, Taco Bell is still Awesome when you're low on funds. ...Man, I sound like a cheap skate. HA HA HA!!! I don't like this location for one reason...It's hard to enter when driving on North Buena Vista. Had to go around the alley as I cut off by a car on the turning lane, and around the next street through Magnolia just to get back inside the parking lot and on to the drive thru. There no parking spots available and there were about 6 cars ahead of me, but that was no big deal. I did have a bit of a communication trouble with the lady on the drive through speaker and I guess the manager had to take my order. It's Taco Bell. You know what to expect quality wise from them. They excel at making cheap, drunk people food that the occasional sober person can enjoy. The food is the same at every Taco Bell and I'm proud to say that I am a Taco Bell fan. The reason for the low rating is not food-related, it's because the design of this particular Taco Bell couldn't be worse if it was redesigned by a blind infant on a five dollar budget. There is one entrance and one exit on opposite sides. There are approximately 3 parking spaces and the drive-thru fits maybe 6 cars in the lot before they have to start lining up on the street. If you park, good luck getting back out because the only way out is to wait in the drive-thru line until you can reach the single car exit. Fast food is a bit of an exaggeration because the service would have been faster if I had killed the cow myself. Also, that would be the first recorded time that real meat was actually used in one of their tacos. I don't know what they were doing that took so long, but it definitely wasn't putting gloves on. read more
