This location has gone WAY downhill in the past year or so! I used to eat here a lot but I recently got the worst ever bunch of half-empty ripoff tacos delivered. I made the mistake of ordering the 12-supreme party pack and every single one had a big 1" or more wide-gap of nothing but empty taco shell down the entire side. So the spine of the tacos had meat and some tomatoes and sour cream (barely any lettuce), but then all the bites down the open side were completely empty. Also, I paid a premium price to try out the Cantina Chicken Burrito that is supposed to come with fixings like lettuce, tomatoes, sauce, and cost the price of about 2x taco supremes, but it was sooo dinky! See pictures--it was barely larger than the sauce packet it came with and had only ONE tiny sliver of lettuce in the entire thing! No joke. It is in the photo if you look closely. I thought this was the wrong item. I couldn't believe how badly this taco bell ripped me off. I used to love this place and even last summer got tons of good food here. Joleen Smith... where do I begin. This lady was so very rude to me and my friends. We thought that an item had been forgotten in our order so we went back around. We stopped at the drive thru and she accused us of lying then when we got to the window, she very rudely explained to us where we could find it (under a mound of sauces and napkins where we could hardly see). She said that "maybe if we looked harder and lifted the things in the bag we would find it.". I then told her that she did not need to be so rude and she slammed the window in our faces. I think this Taco Bell is great; I get drive-through orders from them occasionally and am almost always happy with my order. I think it was only my most recent order that got messed up (I paid for a side of KFC biscuits that they forgot to include, and they gave me soft taco supremes instead of crunchy ones--not a huge deal). I didn't realize until I got home, and I didn't feel like I could do anything about it at that point--I didn't want to wait in the line again for 4 biscuits. If I could give this place a negative rating , I would. I got off the thruway and after getting gas , I went here. I ordered a nacho grande , a taco , and a Mountain Dew . ( they were out of lemonade). I paid at the drive thru and picked up at the window. Found out they had NO taco sauce. Not hot , mild , or medium. Really ????? I would honestly not have ordered otherwise . So , whatever , I have 60 Minutes until I get home. So I take a sip of my drink. OH MY GOD! Lukewarm! What ??? No ice , just warm soda to gone my nacho grande w no taco sauce. I decide to go in. The guy told me at first that I can't get a refund .... Ummmm , really ??? After I explained to him that they charged my card , gave me no receipt , and I came right in , and they can find my order from five minutes ago , he said he would get the manager. He also told me I could go get my own ice ? Um , no thanks, ya misses the point. He then told me , if I got a refund , I would have to return the food. Yeah , no problem. We were in Herkimere for a few days and ate at the one located on caroline st , we had to park across the street and walk to the location the entry way was very icy , Once we placed our order the sodas were waterd down and the food was very greasy , and very poorly presented not neatly presented, the staff seemed to have a very layed back attitude and and not friendly at all .. the restaurant itself was not very clean , there were several tables with debris from other people . the florrs were dirty ,, the soda machine was covered with ice and soda and itself was not clean very disappointed I worked at a taco bell and if our restaurant or food ever looked the way tis did we would have been fired read more

I don't expect much when it comes to a taco bell, but let me recount my experience. I am driving across country myself. I had food with me, but had forgotten the condiments and I was getting ravenously hungry. A quick check on my phone noted there was a taco bell just off the highway. I get there, and saw the drive through line, and decided to go inside instead. There was a small line, but nothing that should take more than 5 minutes. Boy was I wrong! Ten to fifteen minutes later I get around to ordering. But it was nice to stand up after driving, so I didn't mind. Here comes the trouble. I waited for over 11 minutes for my food. I know it was 11 minutes and 48 seconds because it said so on the computer screen in front of the counter. Now, every minute that I sit here puts me back at the end of the day. And when you have a 30 hour drive, every minute counts. As I was leaving, service was so slow that the line was most of the way to the door. That may not seem like a lot, but there had to be over 15 people in that line. I thought to myself how lucky I was that there was only 5 people in my line! I leave, and go get diesel. Now, it's time to eat. Excited for the food I open up the box and my beans ROLL OFF my spicy tostada. Refried beans should not roll off of anything. Besides there was nothing on it! Second box was only slightly better, but the beans scared me. I have never seen anything like them. They looked like they were 3 days old! "No matter" I thought to myself, "I asked for black beans on my chalupa". Guess what? Refried beans! out of complete hunger I ripped off a piece of the breading of the chalupa and it was stale! I have rarely been nauseated and hungry at the same time. My stomach churns thinking about it! It was 7:20pm on 29th July 2018 on our way back from Michigan, I had an horrible experience of Taco Bell for first time in my life. (located at herkimer NY). The washrooms were flooded with human wastes and smelling sooo so bad. Moreover, the food was stell and cold. It also tasted weird. Also the soda was not carbonated and just a sugary water. We spend almost ~$50 and each one of my family was complaining about the food quality. Worst experience of Taco Bell ever.
