I've literally waited in their drive thru for 25 minutes just to get to the window to see the staff confused and overwhelmed with no sense of tracking. They have to ask you what your order is again, then go find it. And why is the chips and nacho cheese $2.39. It was a tiny squirt of cheese product that was good for 3 chips--just not worth it. This Taco Bell also doesn't participate in the National app specials so that advertised $3.99 7 layer nacho fries special. Not here. It's full price $5.99. The Mexican pizza is good but sometimes it falls apart probably because of the excessive wait in the drive thru. Nachos Bell Grande is seriously lacking with mildly stale chips and toppings all clumped in the middle. Crunchy Taco Supreme was probably the best in terms of taste and freshness. This has to be one of the worst Taco Bells around. Today I ordered a cheesy nachos and as usual the amount of cheese is not even much. Their "portion" of three pumps isn't even enough for the chips when it comes to half full and the chips are scraping the bottom before it even makes it in the cup. Sorry, but that is not three full pumps. When I told them just to take the chips and cheese off they act like they needed an act of Congress to refund me the money and take the chips out the bag. Instead they bring all the legislative staff around when all they had to do was give me my refund and give me the bag. I hate walking into this Taco Bell, I'd rather wait in the 20 minute drive through line where you have no idea who's trying to go where because the parking lot is small and weird. Going inside I feel like the place is always dirty. I've never liked walking inside because there's a lot of homeless that come here along with deals that go down inside and right outside. The drive through line does take forever most days, unless you're lucky and get there when there isn't a wait. These guys are not efficient in the way they serve their customers. Line is always out on the street, and I have seen multiple cars drive out of the line on multiple occasions. Once we waited in line for nearly a whole HOUR!! Another occasion I went inside the store hoping it would be faster, NOPE!! I had to wait 45 minutes. It did not help that the micro women working the register had a BAD attitude!! At the same time there were NINE delivery people waiting for their delivery orders. I asked one of them how long they were waiting, and he said 35 mins. He did not get his order until another 20 mins. Being an Accounting Manager for years, I noticed the way they operated. First, they are slammed with orders, so yes, they have their challenges. But it seems management do not attempt to efficaciously modify operations. Second, the counter/window person is at the hub. The faster they get food out the happier customers are and want to come back, equating to more profits. I'm sorry, but you don't put someone that doesn't have a shred of intelligence or share the same goal as the customers with an attitude at the counter!! They need someone that will be on top of things, constantly communicating with the line, calling out orders as it comes out. I noticed one young man communicating more than anyone else, he should be put on the counter instead of the food line. I noticed the manager just taking it easy, helping but at a leisure paste, smiling and joking, with no goal in mind. If anything, she should be in the hub of it all! There is no motivation for efficiency because it has been this way for months since they reopened. Third, at night when they close the store and with the drive thru line going down Beretania, delivery people have to wait in the hour-long line while the food sits and becomes cold by the time they get to the window. On one occasion while waiting in line, a delivery driver pulled into a gap in front of the person ordering at the speaker. When the person ordering noticed this she started yelling at the delivery guy. She overtook him and when she got to the window she told the employee what he did. When the guy drove up to the window, the employee refused to serve him, yelling at him to get back in line, but he refused to move. We were in back of him and saw the whole thing unravel. We thought, just give him his order so we can get our food too. You can't really blame the delivery driver trying to get his customer's order to them on time, instead of waiting in a super long line. In my opinion, why not have one employee service delivery drivers after store hours? They have all the dining area to setup the delivery assembly and enough parking for drivers to park, come up to the closed door, show the employee their order details through the glass door, get their order and everyone is happy. Delivery orders alone generate enough income to staff one person to be the designated delivery person, pay them a small premium to give them incentive to want to get delivery orders out fast. And figure out a way to incentivize the food line to pump out orders as they come, by analyzing sells reports of peak time and pay a small premium if have to. I would also separate the food lines: the line nearest to the drive thru would be designated for only drive thru orders, and the other line near the register would be designated for in store orders and delivery orders with its own holding rack on that side. Tacobell clearly has a problem that I have laid out with possible solutions. The biggest problem that I see, is the leadership! Allowing the problem to continue without any attempt to fix the problem is a recipe for disaster; eventual profit loss. read more

I suggest you check your order before leaving the line, even if others are waiting because your order could be totally wrong. After I returned home, I called several that location several times to address my concern but no one answers! I drove up to order and the girl tells me hold on, never says OK I'm back can I take your order? Been here twice since my last visit in October, and the same thing happened both times. I'm waiting for my order inside the restaurant, and they mixed up my order with someone else's. Went there on Taco Tues. The drive-thru line extended onto Beretania, so I went in to pick up my mobile order. Cashier yelled at me and others. He was extremely rude (I have a picture of him). I waited over 30 minutes for my mobile order. The supervisor/manager was standing maybe 6 feet away, watching this cashier yell at customers, and did nothing. We ordered 3 party packs total, 1 4x4 taco and burrito pack and 2 6x6 crunchy and soft taco packs for an event with my company. My boss and I went in to order inside. I haven't tried the food yet, but that's not what this review is about. This review is about Sarah, our cashier. From when we walked in to when we left Sarah was friendly and smiley. She greeted us as we stepped to the register with a smile on her face, took our order and specifications, read our order back to us after she finished inputting it in the system, and gave us our total. She also asked us if we would like anything further and offered us hot sauces-clarifying which ones we would like. I looked to my boss to tell her that I really liked her service and would like Sarah on our team. The only reason we did not offer her a job at that moment in time was because there were other guests waiting and she was actively working. Had we been the only ones present, we would have offered her a job on the spot. As I waited for our orders to come out another customer came up and greeted Sarah by name. After a moment of hesitation, she greeted him by name as well and regarded that she hadn't seen him in a while. After which, they had a brief, friendly conversation while she took his order. Having worked in customer service, I know how hard it can be to keep the same positive energy about oneself consistently. Further, I consider myself to be a harsh judged of customer service employees since I know what Great customer service looks like. At this location, great customer service looks like Sarah. I am not blaming the employees because I know and can see that they are trying their best. Its the management and the company its self. They need to open more locations or hire more people to work because it is hard having only two people work when there is a bunch of orders flooding in all at once. I was waiting in the drive through for half an hour so I placed my order through the app and had to wait another 45 mins just to get my food and finally go home. I even tried to stand outside the door to see if it would be faster to get my order because I seen the doordashers and uber eats workers doing that. This Taco Bell is interesting because half of it is Taco Bell, while the other half is Pizza Hut. Years ago, this place was actually just a Pizza Hut, but since renovations have been done it has turned into a hybrid restaurant. I hardly ever dine in here, but on occasion I do make it through the drive thru. I found the drive thru rather confusing the first time I went through because I could not for the life of me find the order speaker. I seesawed my car back and forth, menu board to menu board, and finally went around the building. To my surprise, the order box was located on the farthest side of the building near the street. I like the food here and I do not know why people say the food here gives them the runs. I have never experienced that. Service has always been professional and fast.
