I just moved back to kaneohe a few months ago . Wow have things changed. I love taco bell but this place was not all that. 1st off we decided to dine in. The guy taking our order seemed like he was either stoned or really hated his job. Zero customer service..seemed uninterested in what I wanted to order. No hello thank you nothing. Didn't even repeat the order back. Made no eye contact. 2nd we went there the new rolled tacos also known as taquitios. We ordered the chicken 4 pack . Halfway through eating one it's was still cold an frozen. Yuck!! Took it back an they checked the rest that was in the warmer. Grabbed them all an refried them. Just went through the drive thru and got horrible customer service from Brian M. My boyfriend and I saw that they were busy and couldn't get to us immediately but we left the cash on the window for him and grabbed the water that was for our order that was on the window sill, to try and save him the time and effort. We were far from the window and had to open the door and get out to hand him the cash so this way itd be easier for both sides. Then when he finally came to the window he said, "you're lucky your cash didnt just blow away". Before we left we asked for the straw and he replied, "that's what happens when you just take the water". So damn rude. I'll be calling tomorrow morning. Sorry you hate your job so much. This review is for the DRIVE-THRU! It was a little late, but we needed lunch. The kids had finished their appointments at Snip Tease, and were demanding tacos. Taco Bell was right up the road, so off we go! I am lazy, so I opted for the drive-thru. I was greeted by a very friendly person. Because we got up to the window quickly, I wasn't sure of everyone's orders. She waited patiently for the order. And when I asked about the frozen drink promotion, she explained it in detail. I really don't think I have had a better drive-thru experience. When we got up to the pick up window, we were again greeted warmly. Our food was ready and it was accurate. The one on base is lame, the one in kailua doesn't have a drive through so this leaves the one in Kaneohe. I never have high expectations for fast food, especially taco bell but for some strange reason this was an exception. After driving through drive through and figuring out I had no idea what I wanted since their menu has really expanded in the last couple of years, we walked in. I ended up ordering I think 3 different times, and even though the line was always long and there were eager customers, the staff behind the counter was SO friendly, happy, efficient and helpful! The manager was even working line to help keep things moving. I could not believe how friendly they were....hence why I HAD to review this taco bell! I love Taco Bell. My favorite here is the cool ranch tacos. They make me feel better about myself, and full of gas. The ride home is especially interesting. Kaneohe fast food places seem to be the worst, but this Taco Bell is surely at the top of that list. It's the only one in Kaneohe, so we are forced to go there when the need hits. One night, just as the dine in area closed, everyone was forced to the drive thru. There were about 8 cars in front of us when we arrived and as we waited 25 minutes to order, the cars behind piled up. Some cars behind us ended up leaving but we waited too long and got stuck in, so we couldn't back out to leave. After about 35/40 minutes we got to the window. No apology or thanks for waiting, so I asked if the 25 minute wait to order was because of short staffing. I got a quick, Yah, we're always short staff, and that was it. However, there seemed to be quite a bit of people working when I glanced in. Another visit was during the afternoon, luckily not busy, but of course they got my order wrong. I ordered a Soft Taco Supreme and got a regular soft taco instead. Pretty disappointing that this is the normal for this Taco Bell. read more

I love tacos. Authentic tacos, fast food tacos, home made tacos, I love them all. We were in the area and decided on a whim to try the naked egg taco. We parked and walked in as soon as they opened. We decided on a naked egg taco and a breakfast crunch wrap. The girl taking our order did not know how to ring us up. She said that she usually works the lunch shift so she didn't know how to ring up the breakfast menu. So, we waited patiently while she called for the manager to ring us up. He took a while since he was currently doing something else but an apology would have been nice for the wait. After ordering, I went to get a table to wait until our food was ready. There were crumbs all over the table. Huh? They just opened and they weren't packed. Hmmm, was it there from last night? The table next to it was also a little dirty. I found a clean table to sit on and we unwrapped our food. The naked egg taco was sooo cute. It was really small! It has some country style potatoes at the bottom, sausage, and cheese. It tasted okay. The breakfast crunch wrap came with a hash brown on the bottom, scrambled eggs and sausage on top with cheese and wrapped in a flour tortilla and put under a press to make a crunchy outside. It was also okay. I probably won't be trying that again but at least I can say that I've tried it! As far as this location, needs a little more work! read more

It's taco bell! Well for my money, at least I get a consistent product. I actually love Mexican food. Taco bell is not real Mexican, but I feel that you get a decent filling meal. That being said, is food that comes from a squirt gun really food??? I like the beefy burrito, the cinnamon twists, and I get an extra refill of soda before I leave. The restaurant was very clean, the restroom was... well, I don't know because I didn't see one. Overall, the place looked fine. Plastic seats and all. The team of employees here work really hard. I feel like they are getting better here. It seems in the past 6 months the service has gotten better. The manager seems to be making a difference. I once heard the manager encouraging the staff (instead of scolding) when a mistake was made. The annoying thing is that they ask you how many sauces you want....just give me some. I love the cheese roll, but I hate spending $0.99 on a small tortilla and cheese. I know I can make it at home, but for some reason, it always taste better when it's from Taco Bell. For a taco bell my experience was excellent. I came in around 9:30 pm for a late dinner. After I ordered I got my food within 2 minutes. The place was pretty clean although the napkins and sauce were almost out. They started to clean up when I was eating and they started playing music in the kitchen. They are supposed to open at 7 a.m., yet when I pull in right at 7 or shortly there after, they are NEVER open and are completely non-responsive at the Drive-thru. I have waited over 20 minutes for them to open at almost 7:30, and they were SO rude when they finally opened, I couldn't believe it. The management here is an absolute JOKE. I have been sitting in the drive thru when employees are in there around 7:00 and they just don't acknowledge me and pretend like I'm not there until they are good and ready to open at least 15 minutes late EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Once I went there and ordered and waited for over 10 minutes to get my meal, only for them to tell me at that time that they were only accepting cash, and with a card I get "nothing". I got food poisoning from eating their under cooked hash browns and drinking the Orange Juice. I had asked for the Hash Browns to be cooked longer because a previous visit I found them to be under cooked. I was in the drive-thru when I requested this service. I got very ill and went back and told them the next day. The response I got from the management was that their timing in the drive-thru was more important than cooking my hash browns longer. And no explanation on why the Orange Juice could have made me sick. They were more worried about their 10 star rating than a sick customer. Both times I've been through the drive thru were pretty crappy. A girl filled my drink only halfway, slapped the cover on and handed it to me. When I asked if she could fill it to the top (you know, since I paid for it an' all) she was crazy rude and told me no because I had drank half of it. Yeah, 20oz of soda within the last 20 seconds when I hadn't even pulled my arm into my window yet and through the still completely sealed cover. I'll make sure to leave my telekinesis home next time. About 80% of the time I go through the drive through they get my order wrong. They usually forget to put things in the bag and some employees have attitude problems. Also, I heard a lot of their staff members have done jail time. I love Taco Bell don't get me wrong, but I had never been to such and unorganized place. I went at 9pm for a pregnancy craving, only had two or three cars in front of us and it took a while. Our order was 1 Soft taco 1 Chicken quesadilla combo that comes with a soft taco 1 Nacho cheese And 1 Chili cheese fry griller What we got was 2 chalupas 3 hard tacos 1 Nacho and cheese And some griller that had sour cream in it which the one I ordered didn't come with sour cream because I hate sour cream. Then when we told them we were missing the quesadilla meal (for my husband), and tried to give back the chalupas, they made us keep them then gave us the quesadilla but no soft taco. I was still missing the soft taco for me but my husband said I could have his that came with the quesadilla to find out they didnt even give us that one either. Then we asked for mild sauce and got fire sauce, and me not paying attention put it on the taco and my mouth was on fire lol just all out terrible experience. The only thing they got right was a nacho and cheese. Then at the beginning she procceded to ask of it was okay she over charged us, we said sure to just avoid waiting longer, but we didn't realize how bad the really messed up.
