I've driven by this Taco Bell so many times but I've never had it. I usually go to a different ones. One day I was nearby so I decided to try it out as I was craving it. It feels weird because they do not have a drive-through which is not the norm for Taco Bell on the other hand, it is good in the sense that things will come out quicker. The lobby is very spacious. I didn't notice that they don't have any big tables. They just have smaller ones. It is self-serve and they have the screens where you order yourself. I did a mobile order and my food was ready right away. Everything was prepared good and it all tasted great. The inside was fairly clean. The young girl at the counter was very nice. I didn't get her name, but she was the shorter one. I am leaving three stars and not five due to the fact that when I was the only customer in the lobby, I heard someone in the kitchen, cursing not just once but they kept going on and on. Yesterday was my last day at this location. I placed an order at kiosk and when I received my order it was wrong. I mentioned it to the lady who handed me my order. It was a very tall middle eastern woman. She seemed irritated. Then her manager who was the very short older Mexican women over heard and got mad at me saying I should have stated how I wanted my modifications after placing my order I told her the modifications were done at the kiosk why would I repeat when she should been reading the screen. They attempted to remake my order while the manger was staring at me rudely the whole time. And upon leaving I thank them for making it right and the manager never said a word. I asked for a copy of my receipt and said told me it world be emailed. I said I want one on paper and she had an attitude about that. She obviously has a chip on her shoulder. We walked in and ordered from the kiosk, granted a few of the items may not be typically ordered or take a bit of time to make. There was only one person in front of us, so we figured we'd be out of there within ten minutes. Several people followed us. While we're sitting there waiting, we start to observe that the people that ordered after us are getting their orders before us and leaving. Even more people came in and placed their orders, and they were getting their orders filled before us and leaving. I finally went up to the counter and politely questioned why all of these people that came in after us are getting their orders filled before us. The young woman at the counter acted like I was speaking a foreign language and didn't understand me. Though I observed her walk over to a young man preparing the orders and ask him, should we bump his order up. Surprisingly, his response was, "No". I stood at the counter and just stared at them the entire time waiting from then on out. From the time that we placed our order, at least seven orders after ours were filled and out the door. I used to enjoy coming here- service was quick and friendly and I actually enjoy interacting with people who take orders. After being told, rudely, that I must use the kiosk I will not be returning. Last time I wax turned away from an empty counter and told I had to use it today. I left and didn't make an order. This is my go-to quick dinner spot on a Wed nite when I'm on my way to choir practice down the street. Staff is usually friendly & fairly quick, although there have been some exceptions to that. Same goes for the cleanliness of the place....usually tidy. Although there is no drive-thru, you can expect the usual food fair. Since I've sorta become a 'regular', the sweet girl at the register has pretty much remembered my name when taking my order, which is really sweet that she makes the extra effort. Everyone knows that is complete BS. But the workers are directed just to lie to your face and try and make you order off the COVID-infested screens. She finally approach me and directed me to use their ordering computer on the wall, the computer only would allow me to pay with a credit card. Overall this is a nice Taco Bell. It's a bit hidden in the strip mall but the well kept. The staff were pleasant and service was speedy. Upon entering I noticed how clean the lobby was. All tables were clear and clean and the floor appeared to be nearly mopped! This was a plus for me because I despise dirty restaurants. We ordered rolled tacos and freezes. The rolled tacos were delicious as expected. My only issue was the dipping sauces were quite skimpy. The nacho cheese dipping sauce was half full. I'm not a fan of the strawberry freeze. First off, It is crazy how these reviews can vary so much! From "best" to "worst" food or service ever. I am guessing some people come from areas that expect very little from the restaurant or the people working there. I am going to tell you the true story. I have been in this neighborhood since this Taco Bell was installed. No doubt it has gone through different managers or supervisors (I don't know about owners). Sometimes it is good, but lately it has been absolutely horrible. They need to take the pics down showing their products because they look nothing like what Taco Bell's intent to serve is. I am sick of getting no cheese, and broken shells for tacos. On occasion we have been given wrong orders and had to go back with no apologies from any staff. Absolutely the worst customer service. However because nobody complains they continue to treat paying customers with very little respect by serving them sub-par food. I understand it is hard to get help anymore which is so unfortunate. It used to be about the customer since we were the ones paying your wages. Without customers you don't have a business, nor jobs and eventually it turns into a dif restaurant. That would be unfortunate because we like Taco Bell, just not this one. So in the meantime until they get their staff together and trained on the art of food service, i will not be going back. I will go to the one on Freeport. How hard can it be to make a freakin taco??? Put some cheese on it, like the pictures show!!! I will also be reporting this Taco Bell to their headquarters if that is still offered as an option. people don't settle for their service, boycott and go to another one until they get it together! This Taco Bell is alright, it's better than some other Taco Bells I been too. They remodeled this location a few years ago. The interior is nice, it's clean and there's more seats now! I come here every now and then since it's close to where I live. I haven't had a bad experience here yet --I'm usually greeted by someone as soon as I walk in, the line is short, and it doesn't take long to get my food. I came here once or twice during the summer and they didn't have their AC on :( It was quite hot and humid inside, but I assume their AC wasn't working on those days. Tried their Chickstar, amazingly, I thought it was pretty good. It's basically chicken nuggets wrapped in a tortilla with avocado sauce and tomatoes shaped like a crunch wrap without the hard shell inside. My son likes to come here after school for their happy hour. Love their Mountain Dew Baja Blast freeze (Happy hour, $1 on all drinks from 2-5pm I think)! Location is fairly clean, always greeted nicely here, and plenty of parking as it's in a strip mall. read more

I like this taco bell. I'm mostly past my crazy late night 8 taco orders, but still enjoy a more sophisticated black bean & rice burrito from time to time. The inside is nice and clean with the only complaint being the seats, which are a little worn in. Sauce is up for grabs and you control the fountain drinks. Customer service is almost always strong. Marcia is about the friendliest and best counter worker I've ever seen. I noticed that she also had no problem dealing with people's weird orders, questions, or substitutions. We just received the worst meal ever. Ordered the Mexican pizza and it's literally a shell with a small smear of beans and that's it. It's pathetic. All of our food was literally smashed.
