Being a regular here, I should stick to the usual time I come here. Front employees (registers) seemed they didn't know what to do and were itching to leave. They were out of the well advertised and time limited Brisk Dragon Sparkling Tea (half of the reason I stopped by). When i asked about it, i simply got the response, "yeah we've been out", and nothing more. I found that pretty disappointing and a bit frustrating. The food came out quick and was somewhat(?) hot. I wish it was a tad bit warmer considering all the food i ordered was pretty hard and crispy. I ordersd the crispy chicken soft taco, the chicken inside wasn't too bad. But i could tell it was at the end of the batch. It's Taco Bell. It's not a 4 or 5 star dining experience. It's a minimum wage job in a fast food chain restaurant. I never expect anything stellar. I hadn't been to this location in quite a number of years, as I try to avoid fast food. But while I was out shopping, tacos just sounded good at the time. So off I went with my buddy, Matt. We came in and were greeted immediately. The woman who took our order did fine. Nothing in terms of going out of the way for customer service, but there were no complaints either. She was moderately friendly and it appeared she liked her job. The restaurant was pretty busy when we went in, and it wasn't really clean. I found this annoying when it's busy, because there aren't many tables to start with, and the ones available weren't exactly clean. It's like walking into a mall bathroom and having to find the least disgusting toilet to use. It felt like that in terms of needing to be cleaned. That was my big complaint about this restaurant. The food was fine. I mean, it's tacos. It's not exactly something you can fail at. It's not rocket science, the last time I checked. Was it good? Ehh, it was ok. Nothing wrong with it, it's just fast food. I've had worse experiences here and I've had better. I honestly try not to eat here, as I'm not a fan of fast food overall. Will I return? Every Sunday my husband orders takeout lunch for the family from here. He has been doing it for a while now and the food is mostly good. That being said it would be nice if the food was better marked once it was wrapped. It doesn't seem to be consistent and we end up unwrapping a lot of it to figure it out. My main point of contention is that every single time, there is something missing from the order! It wouldn't be so bad if it was rare but this is 99% of the time. My husband doesn't want to "make a stink" because he "doesn't want to hold up the line", or "it's a new kid", or "they were really busy today". As far as I am concerned, it's stealing. Worst service ever and incredibly rude. Completely unhelpful to my husband who experienced a glitch with the mobile app regarding saved customized items, all while I was in the hospital with complications from just having our son a few days prior. He ordered nachos and they had no cheese on them. Staff basically told him too bad. He couldn't fix his order, he couldn't buy cheese...nothing. They finally added some cheese (a whole 30 cents) to his food, after being complete jerks and him asking to speak to a manager. He is a calm guy and he came back to my room very upset and disgusted with how he was treated. He has dietary restrictions that are a medical necessity and just wanted shredded cheese on his nachos rather than nacho cheese. I was going to a nearby store for Curb Side Pickup, and decided to pick up lunch at Taco Bell on Gateway Street. Before I left home, I thought I went to their web site to select what I wanted and prices. I don't have much money and stretch it as much as possible. Anyway, I went into the drive-thru and placed my order. I complained that the prices were not the same as online prices. Rather than $1.00 tacos, they were $1.29. Rather than $1.99 burrito, it was $2.19. Overall, I was charged about 22% more than what I was expecting. $4.99 became $6.06 Food was AOK, you get what you pay for. I give it 4 stars for the fact that they retain their employees, which I feel is a strong indicator that everything is pretty squared away. Trip to Target followed by a meal at the Bell, you cannot get much better. My boyfriend and I walked in at 9:40pm and we were looking at the menu and this guy at the register (I know his name but I'll just say it started with a T) was being an a**hole. He was like "you have twenty minutes before we close so you should probably hurry up and order....." We continue to look at the menu Guy: "times up sorry we are closed" I just looked at him like wtf are you actually being serious right now.. Kept making stupid comments like "I know you know what you want, probably going to order the same thing you got last time.. which was probably like two weeks ago. So you should know" RUSHING US. Anyways, we ordered and he was like "so now we close in like 15 minutes, so you better hurry up and gobble that food down because when it's ten I'm kicking you out and I don't care if you aren't done" I was so annoyed... he kept doing this to customers that were coming in and making sure they knew they were about to close and they needed to hurry up and order. He also at one point completely ignored a customer and blew air into his gloves and then went to clean a bathroom. A coworker went to get him out and told him he needed to get back to the register, he started yelling at his coworker and then finally came back. He shouldn't work there if he's going to be a jerk and not work. Also he didn't wash his hands when he came back. He blew into the gloves. This is the slowest Taco Bell I've ever seen half an hour to go down there and order two chalupas and get through the drive-thru. I've hit this one a few times late and it always very slow. Don't bother going into the lobby, I heard the manager one night yell to ignore the people there and focus on the drive-thru and waited so long on one occasion that I ended up asking for a refund. Would have given less than 1 star if I could have. Service was horrible. Went thru the drive thru and placed order. I didn't look at my order until I got home. I ordered a power bowl with no beans or rice. When I looked all it had was a little meat, covered with some sauce with guacamole slapped on top. That was it. No lettuce or anything it should ah e come with. When I drove all the way to the restaurant, the cook in the back was just laughing about it. He spoke Spanish so did t know what he was saying.
