If I could give zero stars I would! I had finished a midterm exam for Chemistry and I pulled up starving after a long day of classes. The open sign was on yet the door was closed.... I was confused. I called the phone number. They answered but said that they were closed. I reminded them that the sign in the window said that they were clearly opened! The refused me and left me out in the cold. I just did a mobile order using their App and it was super easy and fast. The moment I walked in they called my name that my food was ready. It was handed to me by a very nice gentleman who had great customer service. This is a very clean location. I've seen worst in terms of cleanliness. The food came really fast, my mini quesadilla's cheese wasn't quite melted yet. The chicken taco was smallish too. Eating at a chain fast-food company can offer you one guarantee: that the food should be consistent wherever you go. I came to this location because of its close proximity to my office. I was desperate for a quick meal that was cheap, fast, and easy. I went to this Taco Bell location, thinking that it would be like the other locations where I've been. Before I go on further, I must admit that I normally don't eat fast food. It isn't because I think I'm "too good" for it, or that I think fast-food is evil. It's because my boyfriend doesn't like it and I can't eat it when I'm around him. We have this issue regarding 3 things: (1) tofu (he'd rather have meat), (2) fast food, and (3) Spongebob Squarepants (he doesn't think it's funny-- I think it's hilarious). Anyway, this is the first Taco Bell I've been to where the menu items are more expensive than other Taco Bell chain eateries... probably anywhere from 8% - 20% more expensive. This is also the first place TB I've been to where the employees wouldn't open another register despite having a line almost outside the door. It wasn't as if they didn't have enough people, either. There was actually a person standing next to the register person... I mean, just standing there. And lastly, the parking. If you want TB at lunch, go at 11:40. This Taco Bell is located in a small strip mall that also contains other eateries. At the end of the day, if you go during the lunch-rush time, you'll run into a parking lot cluster-duck (yes, I try not to swear). I've only been to this location once. I will only go to this place if I'm really desperate. Otherwise, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

I'll write a review for taco bell.... because it seems that I'm one of the few people out there that either have some intestinal fortitude, or that doesn't find it fashionable to rip on fast food chains. A lot of people think that fast food is really bad for you... sure... it's not great for you, but neither is anything that's not in moderation. Do yourself a favor if you have a chunk of time for enlightenment.... go pick up Fast Food Nation.... in there you'll understand the efforts and dollars that are stake if food isn't prepared well and if people get sick. Now... compare that against your other mom and pop shops where the food ties more directly to the bottom line of food on their own plates.... and you are likely to see less rigor on handling and preparation. Ok.. you can make comments all you like about service and price, but don't blame a restaurant on you getting sick unless you can actually prove it... and you can't, so just stop. Those places serve thousands of people a day, and if it was really getting that many people sick, then spend some time, call your local agency, and have them check the place out... if what you say is true, then you won't be the only one doing it, and we'll get the place closed or cleaned up. or... just bitch about it and do nothing.... because that's what the world needs more of. read more

Quite possibly the WORST in the Taco Bell chain... at least that I've experienced of course. They mix up more ordered than not, even by fast food standards. Drinks are filled/served by someone other than the person bagging the food, so you often have to ask for your drink. Worse, the drink person often fills many drinks at once and piles them on the counter awaiting the food. When the food pops up, it's anybody's guess as to which drink belongs to which order. They hand you a bag and expect you to go away. And your drink? Apparently having them help you find out which drink in the pile belongs to your order will only irritate the drink-filler person. It's not uncommon to see 2 to 3 customers at the order counter, food bag in hand, trying to figure out which drink is theirs. If Yelp ever added a "no stars" rating feature, it would be for THIS place. read more

My son and I needed to get something to eat before heading on in to Great America so I was searching around. The atmosphere inside was really plain but the food was what you would expect from a Taco Bell and nothing less. Since this location has no drive-thru and is dine-in, or pickup only, all orders are usually placed at the end of the counter for you to pick up. This can sometimes be a problem if there are a lot of orders ahead of you. BE SURE to always check your order!! I usually come here to order because my friend lives nearby. Before I thought it was a great place to eat if you're in a hurry. Until I went in last time to pick up my food, the employees were fighting and yelling at each other in front of the customers. And today I ordered on their app, supposedly they close at 1AM on Yelp and on their app. But when I get there not only they locked the doors but the guy inside said he cleaned up everything and a hour early (around 11PM). I would stay far away from this Taco Bell. I usually go to the one of Kifer and Wolfe which is okay. I stopped by this one located on Lawrence and Tasman while running an errand. Big mistake. It's located in a strip plaza and the clientel is a little scary. But that's not what you should be afraid of. What will scare you the most is the food. What I got served was hardly fit for human consumption. The burrito was dry, the chips were stale, and the tacos were horrible. I ordered the mexican apple pie and it was like eating cardboard. This location has recently been remodeled and seems to have gotten worse since then. Came here a week before last and got 2 soft tacos and a drink to go. The first taco was fine. I brought a current coupon in for Chicken Quesadillas and tried to order 4 of them which the fine print on the coupon reads is allowed. The moronic cashier, a young man with a higher body-weight than his IQ points (bw 215 lbs, IQ 73) tells me "No!" and says he can't. I tell him to talk to the manager, which he trundles off to tell her. She does NOT approach me, focusing on this winner of the Darwin Awards explanation, which I could not hear as they are standing about 30 feet away and speaking softly. He comes back to the front and proceeds to ignore me, taking orders from people behind me in line! The manager hides in the back, not taking the initiative to approach me and explain why they won't accept my coupon (WHICH IS NOT EXPIRED). I address the back of the kitchen, raising my voice a bit to get her attention. After about 20 seconds, she walks up to the front with a blank expression on her face, handing me the coupon with no intention of honoring it. I lose my temper and cuss them out, promising never to return. Avoid this location: it's over-crowded, the customers all seem to dine in/not take their food to go, the employees appear to have trouble understanding basic logic and obviously they do not honor coupons beyond a single item when those selfsame coupons offer multiple items as part of the price. I came in to order food and dine in. Paid at the self order station and sat down with a friend to talk while I wait for my food. I waited like 10-15 minutes and this group of 12 people came in. After about 5 more minutes I go and check because my order still hasn't came out yet and everyone that came in before me was served. Going up I had to wait another 2 minutes before someone asked me if I need help. Finally getting to ask one of the workers making the food where my order was at she said they are just starting my order now. Which I could clearly see they were not. Instead they were finishing up the order of the group of 12 people that came in 10-15 minutes after me. I had to wait another 5 minutes for my order to be finished. I'm assuming the workers knew the group of 12 people because why else would they get served before me. Definitely would not recommend going here if you're hungry at night looking for fast food because this definitely was not fast. read more

Extremely frugal place . Ordered 5 chalupa supreme. Unbelievable stuffing inside , very thin layer of beans, there were 4 pieces of shredded lettuce and 4 tiny pieces of diced tomatoes. When I see all of these low scores for the Tasman Taco Belle, it makes me sad. Do not dismiss Taco Bell simply because it is fast food. If you're disappointed at the level of quality at a fast food joint, don't knock it on Yelp, go eat at Maggiano's. Haters gonna hate. My roommate Tim and I are Taco Belle enthusiasts - we have eaten at locations all across the United States of America, we have tried every single item on the Taco Belle menu, we eat at a Taco Belle at least twice a week, and we provide better marketing for the place than the actual home office does. The next step is to buy stock in Yum! brands, but I digress. The point is, we know good Taco Belle, and the Tasman Taco Belle is hands down, the greatest Taco Belle I have ever eaten at. The service is astounding. The workers are almost always in a cheerful mood, many of them know us by name, and they rarely make any mistakes. When they do make a mistake, they are quick to remedy the problem. Mistakes have happened to us three times in roughly 60 visits. Not a bad deal, we've learned to 'pact 5 it' when it happens. The food... what can I say. It is impossibly to properly express in words the perfection of the food with the limited vocabulary of the English language. It is perfect. It is delicious. It is inspiring. I don't know what secret the Tasman Taco Belle location has hidden away behind the counter, but every single order results in the best tasting Taco Belle meal that I've ever had. It may sound like Hyperbole, but I assure you it is not. The food at the Tasman Taco Belle is flawless. Now, even I have to admit that there are problems with this Taco Belle location. This location does not have a drive through window, so when that seed is planted and you hunger for the Belle, you must stop inside to do so. There is ample seating inside, though, so this is rarely a problem (with the exception of the Silicon Valley lunch rush) Secondly, the other night my friend Genevieve ate my fresco style chicken burrito by mistake, rather than her bean burrito. Tragedy of insurmountable proportions. This was not the fault of Tasman Taco Belle, but that didn't make it hurt any less. The bean burrito was delicious, though. Third - the Cheesy Gordita Crunch is not required eating, nor is it free. I firmly believe that if more people could eat the Cheesy Gordita Crunch on a regular basis, many of the world's problems would cease. You want a solution to world hunger and global conflicts? Two birds with one stone - the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. Finally, Taco Belle does not serve beer. This Taco Belle location is top tier. Accept no substitutes. If you find yourself traveling through the South Bay area, don't even think twice about where to eat lunch or dinner. Hit the Tasman Taco Belle, and rethink the way you perceive fast food. This review is about Veronica, apparently the manager! Today we arrived at 10:55 to order breakfast. The menus were already turned around. We asked where the breakfast menu was and Veronica went to get a broom and with the handle turned it back to breakfast. We started to order and my friends went first. When it was my turn it was 11:01 and Veronica told me breakfast was over and wouldn't take my order for breakfast. I couldn't believe it. She told me they couldn't make breakfast because it was 11:01. It took the lady a few minutes to return the menus to breakfast, then refused to serve me breakfast.
