I had a craving for some taco's today. I stopped in at taco bueno and went through the drive through. The line moved quickly even though it was the lunch rush hour. The drive through employee was nice and very good at her job. The food was very tasty. I love their taco's. I also really enjoy their hot salsa. It's the perfect blend of spices to create a salsa that is hot, but not too hot. I would definitely recommend you give this restaurant a try. read more

I'm not going to give a terrible review since the food is good BUT we went through the drive-thru and we asked for pico de gallo with our order. After we received our order, we realized there was no Pico. So my husband went inside and asked for some. He was met with, "is there none on the bar?". No. No. No. This is the reason we are losing our beloved Taco Buene! Why are you so slow? A worker literally walked off after taking an order while making a call asking if someone was in the shower. Not so much as a "just a second..:" What type of managers let this mess happen?! Apparently the worker then went on break leaving us to wait a while for our order to be taken. We were there for over a few minutes just wondering if we would get to eat and hearing about the odd conversation on the phone.... Not one person was wearing a hat or hair net and there was wild hair everywhere on the food line. Me definitely thinks not. To top it all off, the bathroom was gross and unusable. I ordered the sizzling fajita platter which included chicken, grilled onions and bell peppers, refried beans, chips, quacamole, sour cream, and lettuce. For a fast food place, I was suprised to see all this come out. It made so much noise from the sizzling I felt a little embarrased to be eating it in a fast food restaurant, especially since the place was quiet. There were three employees and someone in drive through ordered a few big boxes and they were all working on the boxes and leaving us there to wait before even taking our order. While we were waiting two of the three answered personal phone calls... one (the woman working drive through) even went out back to answer. My receipt still wasn't even printed by the time we got our food. The food was sub par and by the time I got up front and saw how filthy the place was, I barely wanted to try it... starvation won. I went through the drive thru, and guy was messing around and using weird voices. When I asked for salsa and peppers he initially said no then told me he was just joking. I have no problem with workers having fun, but if your going to do that you better get my order correct. I ask for no sour cream on my nachos. I confirmed this at the window again, as the receipt did not show no sour cream. He confirmed they would not have sour cream. When I get home there is a huge glob of sour cream on my food. I do not know why I continue to trust this Bueno or the one in Sapulpa they both are terrible and they never get your order correct. read more

Taco Bueno has been my 'go to' fast food restaurant for decades. Pretty consistent in quality and customer service over probably hundreds of visits since they opened their first one in Tulsa in the early '70's I think. But last Thursday evening was about the worst experience I've had at any fast food restaurant....anywhere. First of all, it was a 25 minute wait in the drive-thru. Yeah I know, I should have left after five or 10 minutes like the smarter ones in front and back of me did. But I'd been out of town for four months and was craving some Bueno, so I waited. Since a truck in front of me had already lost patience and left, when I finally got to the window, I explained to them what my order was so they wouldn't give me the wrong one. I paid, got my food and pulled over to check and make sure it was my order. It wasn't. So I parked and went in and asked for the food I ordered and had paid for or my money back. They gave me my food. I again checked my order and it was correct this time and I left after a total time of 35 minutes for a to go order at a fast food restaurant! I live nearby and the food is usually still hot and fresh and ready to eat when I get home. Not this time. It was cold and stale. But the disgusting thing? The last straw and reason why I'm taking the time to write a scathing review? It was the lettuce of all things. It wasn't just day old, wilted and discolored. It was unrecognizable. It was just slimy strands of nastiness and the whole meal smelled of rank, rotting produce. The food was not fit to eat and went directly into the trash bin. Shameful, abominable, inexcusable. It is lettuce for goodness sake! Cheapest and easiest ingredient to use, prepare and keep fresh. Some serious management and quality issues that need to be addressed at this location. Next time I'm craving Bueno, which is pretty often, I will remember this experience and think twice before I decide it is worth it to drive the extra miles across the river to another location. I love Bueno but when you pull up to the drive through window to be informed their system is down. They said it will be a little while and then asked to come inside, they just locked the doors. I went to the Taco Bueno in Sand Springs, Oklahoma today and my to go order was not filled for 25 minutes. When I asked what was taking so long I was told by the manager Travis I should have gone through the drive thru if I was in such a big hurry. Was very rude. When I said forget my order just refund me, he yelled at me You're not getting a refund. He continued to be nasty to me until my Son stepped up to the counter (he had no ideal my Son was sitting at a table and observing his rudeness). He then took off and went to the back. Our food was thrown together and I left there in tears. We eat there at least three to four times a month. NEVER again. Taco Bell will be getting our business from now on. They were not busy. And there was a Lady who had gone through the drive thru and had to come inside to have them fix her order correctly. Needless, to say he was rude to her as well. Had I observed this before placing my order I would have left there as fast as I could. Our order was two Beef Burritos, two bean burritos, two chicken taco roll ups and four party tacos. What was so difficult about that simple order and to take 25 minutes? I will NEVER go back there. I called the store in Glenpool. Oklahoma and the person I spoke to kept saying how sorry she was for the way I was treated. She gave me the information of who to contact. Travis refused and screamed You're not getting me fired! He acted like he would have liked to hit me. Had my Son not stepped up to the counter I think he might have done so. I would like to know why asking about why my order was not being filled warranted his horrible behaviour. I am 57, five feet and weigh 140 pounds. I have a soft voice and I was not rude. SO, they screw up your order no matter what. One day you ask for Firehouse salsa, well, guess what? You ain't gettin' it. You're getting the original tastes like watered down ketchup salsa. You get a platter with chips? Nuh uh, no chips for you. OH, what's that you say? You are supposed to have sour cream and guacamole with that? HA. Out of the question.
