Go here! It's so good! We didn't know what to expect, the bacon was generous and crispy. Pancakes were massive and perfect, the hash browns crispy delicious.. I could go on but bottom line if you're into great food and service this is your place. We will be back!

Great service and the food was spot on for good old fashioned diner food. Definitely will be back.

This review is for the Freeway Cafe on the west side of Tulsa. We generally frequent the 4th place restaurant because it is closer to our home. I want to compare the quality of food and service between both restaurants I have been coming to Freeway Cafe sense they opened over twenty years ago at 51st. & Hw169. There was and still is a large menu to choose from. The food and service was five star. However I've noticed a decline in the quality of food at the 4th place restaurant. The East side onion rings have been burnt for several months. Even though this appetizer is a large portion the price recently jumped $3.00/order. One week ago I ordered the onion rings appetizer & broasted chicken dinner. My wife ordered a vegetable dinner. The onion rings came out burnt as expected. The broasted chicken came out so burnt that it could not be eaten. Normally the broasted chicken is an average size bird. I actually asked our waitress if this was a Quail, because it was so small. I know restaurants have good days and once in awhile a bad day. However this restaurant is having more bad days than good. West Tulsa restaurant no longer sells Broasted chicken. So I ordered the rotisserie half chicken with mashed potatoes, salad and brown beens. My wife ordered the veggie plate with salad, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, brown beens and okra. We also ordered the Eastside onion rings. The onion rings were good, the salads were lettuce only with salad dressing but was ok. The rotisserie chicken was good. However everything else was so cold they couldn't be eaten. Example: the turkey gravy was so cold that it turned to gelatin YUK! The service was ok but nothing great Summary: both restaurants have some major issues that need to be addressed. The biggest issue starts with poor management. I would like to see a resurrection of the old Freeway Cafe

Server No clue. Didn't say her name. But she's the only gal in here waiting tables. Considering she's by herself, she's quite efficient. Her name is Sabrina. Ambiance It's a classic car themed burger shop. There's Country muzak playing. To be fair, there's a whole lot more than just burgers. Food The food is above average. The spaghetti was accompanied by a good tasting salad and very good garlic toast; it all was very good. The patty melt smelt and tasted good to very good. The fries on the other hand left a lot to be desired. Definitely the worst part of this plate. They didn't taste as though the were fully cooked. Some of the middles were cold some were much harder than they should be. Overall I didn't see the staff sanitizing tables after each guest leaves. The young girl at the register I see walking around with her phone in hand. Very unprofessional at the very least. Not to happy to see there's no management here. Military Yes

I have been here a few times now and its not bad. The inside reminds me of a classic diner. The food is good, not amazing, but for the good price and plate full of food you get, its worth going back. They have a daily rolling menu of 15+ specials everyday and the regular menu has 50+ more selections. One can almost find anything they want to eat here. There is also a wide selection of fresh made pies in the case as well as a literal plate sized cinnamon roll, which is delicious. If your ever over this way and in the mood for some down home food that will please everybody, come over and give it a try.

For the second visit in a row, the staff started mopping while we were eating. The cleaner is so strong it kills your appetite and burns your eyes. This is not a rookie mistake. The owner who has three of these locations was in the dining room while it was taking place. However, the food is satisfying while you can eat it. And the menu is expansive. Very casual atmosphere. The staff is kind and were patient with my kids.

This is the inside.. I'm a restaurant snob so I look at everything. Eating area is pretty clean.

The lamb was incredibly tender and fell right off the bone. I usually skip sides, but I tried the collard greens. They had bacon in them as God intended. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake--very classic and original. Nothing over the top, just a reliable, well-executed dessert that wasn't overly sweet. Our server was kind and personable and made some lovely wine pairing suggestions. Overall, it was a wonderful dinner and a perfect way to indulge on a Sunday evening.

The bar is the first thing you see when you walk in, and it's right next to the dining area, so you can't have casual or dressy at one without the other. The birthday part was fun because they served ice cream with a sparkler lit in it, which is way more fun than a regular free dessert or someone singing to our table. Nice touch! Truffle fries appetizer is the best. I order this wherever possible around Tulsa, and this was one of the better ones! Filet mignon was done well. If you like garlic, add the double garlic toum, which is basically puréed garlic to add on the steak. Mac and cheese was just ok. Whipped potato gratin was different and tasty. I wish they had crispy brussel sprouts for a side like other steakhouses. Iceberg wedge salad was good, but they only had one cheese substitute if you don't like blue cheese. I asked for ranch instead and it was good. We tried to change our reservation on a Wednesday night to push it back by 30 minutes due to work urgencies, and they showed no availability online, yet we didn't see more than two other parties there the entire time. They need to work out their online system better as this isn't an issue with other restaurants. Definitely worth a try, and I would go back.

The service was fantastic, the drinks were on point, and the food was incredible. We tried a little bit of everything: alligator, crawfish, pork chop, voodoo chicken, sandwiches, gumbo, and dessert--and every single dish delivered. The cocktails were consistently excellent across the board as well. Overall, we had a really great experience and couldn't have been happier. We'll definitely be back on our next visit--especially to finally try the surf and turf. Thanks, Nola's!

The shrimp were tiny and the sandwich was covered with a sauce I didn't like. It should have occurred to me that the fried green tomatoes might also be Cajun. We don't like Cajun but thought the sandwiches might not have all the Cajun seasoning. We should have asked. Another lady at the table got the same thing and she didn't like hers, either. She did ask for ranch dressing for the fried green tomatoes. I followed suite. It did make the tomato's easier to eat but they still were not good. We only got 3 slices each and didn't finish them. I left almost all of my sandwich. I broke off a piece of the bread hoping it might be a good rich bread that I could nibble on. No luck. My husband ordered crawfish étouffée. He said it wasn't warm and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp too long. It was also salty and he has to watch his sodium. He left nearly all of it. One couple ordered voodoo chicken and smashed potatoes. They liked it and ate it all. One person got a chicken sandwich that he said was good. The 2 children got hamburgers and Mac and cheese. They loved the Mac and cheese but barely ate any of the burgers. Their grandmother took a bite of one of the burgers and said it was good. She took the burgers home for the kids. They put the gratuity on the check without telling us. My husband was about to add a gratuity but his sister noticed it was already added and stopped him. They charged us to use a credit card. That alone is enough to keep me from going back. The ambiance was New Orleans decor and pleasant.
