I don't know why I keep giving this location a chance. I get decent service in the mornings, Unfortunately the evening service, attitude, etc. makes me rate this location 2 stars. It took 16 minutes tonight to get this order to go: 6 chicken fajita tacos, 6 steak fajita tacos. SIXTEEN MINUTES. I sat inside and watched the ineptitude. I found hair in my nachos the last time I went there. I will not be back. Also staff do not wear hair nets so beware!

Possibly the worst food ever. They ran out of beef after my friend placed his order and waited. The employees' shirts were covered in food. I ordered the sampler platter in the drive thru. It took 35 minutes to get the food. The enchilada was just the red tortilla with cheese inside. No sauce at all. The taco meat was all dried out. This location should be shut down, deep cleaned and reopened with a new manager and new staff. Disgusting! The Conroe location 5 miles to the north is awesome. How ironic that The Woodlands location is so lacking. read more

Disgusting location! Doesn't deserve 1 star...They always mess up my order, but tonight I ordered nachos. It tasted like sink water and no salt on stale chips and they didn't even put beef on it (though they charged for it). I called them to let them know after being frustrated, and this not being the first time it has happened. I heard laughing and "the manager" Giovani, if that's even his real name, answered with a " yeah"! He then said he couldn't do anything for me and didn't even offer to refund me or make me a new one! You could tell the guy that I spoke to was very immature with no customer service training. I will definitely never go back after this final experience!!! read more

I love this place, the prices are great and the food is wonderful too. The people that work here are always helpful and upbeat.

I usually love taco cabana but this one is disgusting and has the worst customer service I've ever received from any restaurant. They gave me the correct order but they charged me for someone else's order. Went inside to fix the problem and I waited at the counter for over 5 minutes for anyone to talk to while employees were in the back talking, eating and drinking. read more

Any experience I've had here has been exceptional. it may be kind of gross inside but it's either a hit or miss. the drive thru has always been fine (can have long waits) but food always tastes fresh. I always get the beef nachos and chicken flautas. both are delicious and the service at the window is always great! such nice people and if you ask nicely for anything you need they are always really sweet. overall super yummy and my favorite midnight snack! read more

Taco Cabana (TC), The Woodlands, TX 77384 - Pleasantly surprised by this fast foodie joint. For the freshness, tasty offerings, cost, friendly/fast service, authentic Latin music, beer(!!)/other alcohol, and cleanliness -- it's highly recommended. 'Tis a cross between Baja Fresh (for the fresh salsa condiment bar: Salsa Roja, Salsa de Fuego, Salsa Ranch, Salsa Verde, Pico de Gallo, Jalapenos, Cilantro, Onions, Limes/Lemons), Taco Bell (for the Tex-Mex theme, including a drive-thru option), and Chipotle (for the choice of fillings, tortilla encasements, & dine-in patio setting) -- only TC has more choices, including a sweet tooth's dream of Tres Leches (yummy!) & Sopapillas. The Steak Fajita Nachos were delicious & the steak cubes tender & well-seasoned (although a tad skimpy, and the queso seemed a bit watered down). Another great pick is the Tex Mex Combo 'cuz you get to sample a little of everything. TC has flautas (deep fried rolled tacos), too! TC has outdoor seating with ceiling fans, but it was too muggy to suffer while we savoring TC's flavorful fare. This TC location had a steady stream of "To Go" customers, a great sign!!! Well things have only slightly improved. They have new tables. LOL. We came in and had to wait 5 mins to order because there was only one worker in sight. We did get our order rather quickly. The food was hot and good this time. This was @ 9:30 Sunday morning. There was two other people here. There was not a single clean table in the place. We found the least dirty and cleaned it off. The manager came out and I was at the condiment bar he said every thing going well to us. I said nothing. He then proceeded to pull the table numbers off of a couple of tables and left one behind for some reason. He could clearly see all the filthy tables. He does nothing. Did not even get an employee to clean them. The thing is they were not busy. Terrible manager skill. No doubt too busy on a social media site back in his office. I worked fast food when I was younger. If we were busy we still made sure tables were clean. This seems to be the norm across all fast food chains now. No one cares or it's too much of a bother to do anything but produce low quality food in a dirty environment. Please stand up and complain and stop this. You are the customer and you pay. I let them know their tables were dirty and it was rude that I had to clean my own table. I did not ask for money back or free food I just calmly told them about. My family and I just attempted to go through the drive thru and it is pouring rain, so since there is no cover my husband asked if we could come to the window to order and the employee told us no because it affects their time for the negative. Way to put the customer first!! I have been to this location many times and I have never been impressed with the staff. They usually seem like they're high on something and they are very slow. This was the worst though...let the customer get soaked just so you're time score doesn't get lowered. read more

Every table was dirty. Diet Coke had an "out of order" sign on it. When my mom asked if they had any, they promptly went and re filled it. Why the hell would it take a customer to ask you???? Food was delicious and that's probably the only reason this location is still open. read more

Do not stop here! Service and cleanliness is deplorable. 3 times the order was wrong and cold, floors are sticky, the lemons in the salsa cart were milky that's how disgusting and bad it was. There was a bug in the cilantro, awful!!! And on top of it all we were being nice and we were getting attitude!! It's the first of the year and they don't want to be here!! Boo hoo!! They should take all of this people and drop them in the middle or Irak or at the very least Mexico and see if they don't appreciate having this job!! I hope this place gets shut down. Food is the same as all Cabana's. The place could be cleaner and about half the time they get the order wrong. The salsa bar is usually in need of replenishing. read more

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. The food took way to long to come and when it did it was cold and they had messed up my friends order. This is about a week past due, but I was in there last week with my boyfriend and our dog and we were both so impressed with the customer service! TC has always been up there in quality for a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner. Last week was one of the first times in any "fast food" restaurant I went in expecting to get a meal and left with an appreciation and desire to go back purely based on the customer service. I believe it was the manager on duty, but I'm not sure....whoever it was went above and beyond with our order, delivering our food on the patio and ensuring our pup was comfortable. He was approachable, professional and exuded a pride in his job that my boyfriend and I both took notice too. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years, I understand the importance of letting your establishment know potential areas of improvement as well as when they are excelling and going above and beyond. Last week was a time where this establishment and its employee did just that. Keep it up! read more

Got taco plate. Awful! Pressed chicken like Arby's pressed meat. Gross texture. Asked for crispy tacos, got soft. Only pressed meat in tortilla. About 2 Tbs limp lettuce for 3 tacos, salsa was like runny tomato sauce. Will never go back. Taco Cabana was very good in New Mexico, what happened!? But at least my cat ate the "chicken." read more

if I can give less than 1 star I would-- I ordered 2 barbacoa, egg chees breakfast taco- no drink the person at the drive through yelled the price of 9.50!!!
