If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst taco cabana service ... And it's not only once or twice... It's every time I come here... I finally have broke down to write a bad review. Also the bathrooms are never clean nor is the salsa bar filled up when we actually dined inside. Oh and ALL the employees seem to hate their job... Such a sad story. ... So I am editing my review... Worst service I've ever experienced. Just moved from Chicago and the first time coming to Taco Cabana. Have seen them around a lot and thought it would be a fun meal. From the moment we walked up to the counter the guy taking the order was a total jerk who mumbled so bad we couldn't understand a word he said. We tried saying this was our first time here but that went over his head and he could care less. Our youngest son couldn't understand what was being said and had to just settle for whatever the guy was saying. The dining room was hot and dirty as well. Other people were arguing with the folks behind the counter due to their food orders being wrong and having to wait "an hour" according to them. Whoever the management is for this establishment needs to retrain their employees or they should be let go and new people brought in who actually care about their job and the customers they serve. The food was ok at best but the overall atmosphere of the place ruined it all. Will NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I made a yelp account specifically to write this review. I LOVE Taco C... But this location is horrid. I've been here a few times, have given them lots of chances. EVERY time I've ordered the street tacos the meat is dry, the corn tortillas literally split in half and fall apart. They make them dry-Never put cilantro and onion on them. Ever. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they come with cilantro and onion.. They have at evey other Taco Cabana I've ever been to. Not to mention they're ridiculously slow and I've had to ask for someone to take my order several times. I really wish I could give negative stars. Wanted enchiladas....they were out of enchiladas. We ordered 6 hard beef tacos.....one soft taco. Got 4 hard tacos....one soft taco. I also ordered plates, which come with rice and beans. The girl was nice enough to accommodate me on that one. She got my one star for this place. Someone else should get an opportunity at this franchise location. It is the most poorly run Taco Cabana I have ever been to. I'll go a step further, it has to be the most poorly run fast food establishment I have been to. read more

Why, every time I come here, do my quesadillas look as though they were prepared by a blind folded 5th grader? Every time I decide to gamble and give this location another shot, my food is half-cooked, soggy, and literally thrown sideways into whatever to-go container they found. I'm tired of having to go home, put my food back together, and fully cook it until it actually resembles what I ordered. Word of advice to anyone who was thinking of eating here: the 20 min drive to ANY other Taco Cabana will be worth it. read more

It was a lonely dinner for me last night. I worked late yesterday, but I was starving on my ride home. I stopped by this location as I felt like I needed a strawberry margarita...no, I earned my strawberry margarita. I wanted a small, but I got charged for a large. I ordered the chicken fajita plate. It was ok, but I wish it would have included guacamole and sour cream, but I realized I was eating cheap. My food was alright, but nothing to brag about. I always come to this Taco Cabana and it get's worse I always order a Plate and my RICE DUDE MY RICE always comes out to mushy 3 day old Rice the texture smell and taste was horrible there always getting new Managers in what happened to this place everything used to be so fresh and presentable the Salsa I'm very disappointed in this place. I always ran into this certain Manager and she would sound so desperate for a Survey I should of stated facts so this place could pick back up I don't see myself coming back until they get everything right. Slow. Like slower than slow. I worked in fast food for 4 years, so I give a lot of grace to drive thru service, but this is extremely bad. We come here all the time hoping it will maybe be better this time, but it's always a 30 min wait. No excuses. Gonna need some new management before anything changes here. read more

One of the worst experiences. There was only 1 other customer in the resturant when we arrived. It took 32 minutes for us to receive our meals. During this time we realized they had double charged us for a meal. We had to wait for a cash drawer to be opened to get the money back. We also never received our large order of chips and queso, extra order of queso, or the kids queso. Asked numerous times for it as we seen other customers being served that came in after us. 1 hour later we asked for a refund. Manager was rude and was refusing the refund. Finally he agreed to refund the large order of chips and queso but not the others. He said my $4.32 was the least of his worries and to just give it to me. I am extremely annoyed at not only the customer service by the staff but even more appalled by the behavior and professionalism of the manager. read more

It's before 9 pm on a Thursday night and we decided to stop off at this awful Taco Cabana. While waiting inside on our food we noticed the trash was over flowing in the back where they were preparing the food. I stood there and watched the worker that was cutting up the fajita meat pushed down the trash with his hands. He didn't change gloves just went back to handling the meat after putting his hand in the trash. We canceled our order and left immediately. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND PASS THIS PLACE UP. read more

Worst experience drive thru lady told me she didn't know how long my order would be. Keep in mind I'm in a drive thru and can't get out or go forward. So trapped I called the store manager asking him why don't he either shut the drive thru down. Or tell people to pull forward and someone would bring them their order. Long story short, don't go here. The service is terrible! We waited in line for roughly 15 minutes to have our order taken, not because the line was long, but because the cashier was not present. Instead, she was in the kitchen restocking, not bothering to communicate that they are understaffed and that she will be right with us. Furthermore, the food took an ungodly amount of time to arrive at our table due to their inability to properly schedule a sufficient amount of employees. This is the third time I have been to this taco cabana and they were working short. I mean cashier fixing food too. The drive thru line was so long, I decided to go in. It wasn't any better. Orders were messed up. Folks asking for refunds. Customers demanding complimentary drinks! This used to be a really great place to eat when they first open but now I just don't know. The food at this place is terrible. I normally like Taco Cabana, but won't be back. The employees aren't overly friendly, they've gotten our order wrong two out of two times, and the food is just mushed together. The last time I went, we hadn't even sat yet and were getting our drinks and this Hispanic lady who I believe was either an illegal or had terrible English was bringing out our food and irritated that we hadn't sat down yet. Went to drive through and waited 5 minutes but no one ever came on to take order, so drove to window where I was told they were unable to take order at the window because they had customers behind me waiting...like they couldn't take order and ask me to pull up and bring order out. We waited 25 minutes for our food, I ordered the salad without the shell and my son ordered tacos with corn tortillas when we got the order my salad was in the shell and my son's had flour tortillas. My son is allergic to flour and I didn't want the shell. I looked around and saw at least 5 families waiting for food, when I took my tray of food back to the register I watched while a lady flipping meat on the grill completely ignored me. I was looking around an notice that the cashier was plating up food and not tending to the register. I finally got the attention of the lady cooking the meat, she called over the cashier who looked like she ran a mile in the sun. The poor cashier apologize for the delay an said " our manager said we were over on hours last mouth so he cut everyone hours except his. And the lady on the meat section won't help, she refuses to move and assist other stations that are running behind. After 30 min I got my money back my son and I left hungry. This was not the first time I got bad service from that location but it will be the last. I should have left when I saw the filthy tables but I guess that's what I get. read more

5:45 on a Saturday afternoon ... This place is so discustingly dirty!!! Food and trash on and under tables. No clean place to sit. Ice is in a bucket on the counter with the scoop laying IN the ice. This is my worst experience with Mexican food ever. Ordered the steak fajitas combo, steak street tacos, and some flautas. When you unwrap a taco your taste buds should be exploding with yummy anticipation, not disgust and wonder at how a couple of chihuahua turds landed in your tortilla. If you want street style tacos, NOT the place, unless you like Jennie - O. If you want crispy chicken flautas with extra salt and a thin unrecognizable sliver of black chicken fiber, this place might be your thing. They forgot to give us some guacamole, onions, and other things but that is the least of their worries. Overall, this place was revolting, unoriginal, uninspiring, and non edible.
