    Queso Birria taco

Staff was nice. But please include consume in birria orders, it's the whole point! And if you have to charge extra make sure it's a question when we order!

    Steak lacks flavor, $ 17 for 4

The service was courteous and friendly but we are not satisfied with the 8 steak tacos we ordered, the meat was not as expected and the price was high compared to other places I've been.

I had to update my review because it crazy how much the prices have increased at this restaurant. And not only have the prices increased, the portions have gone down. At least cut in half Im sure. My partner loves carne asada fries. The first time I bought them from here they were about $15 the next time I went, they were about $20. That's a big change in price in less than a year. The guacamole and chips are $5 and you literally get about an ounce of guacamole. Literally. That price has also gone up, and the guacamole amount was cut in half. I specifically remember looking for the guacamole in the bag and he looked at me, chuckling when I couldn't find it and said "it's in there"...like come on. Y'all know you're a joke. Needless to say, haven't been back, won't be back. $20 for carne asada fries? Really lol stop the madness.

Came in for lunch the other day and this place didn't disappoint! The man at the counter was so friendly and service was great. I don't have a photo of my Cali burrito because I ate it too quickly! It was SO SO SO good. The fries in it were wonderfully crispy and stayed that way even though they were surrounded by guac and sour cream - a true feat. I will 100% return. They have daily specials too for reasonable prices. The only downside of my trip was that they didn't have horchata!

All of this can be yours...for $20. 6 inch burrito doesn't even have complementary chips! Ridiculous

I had just had a Thai meal delivered to me that was so disgusting it was inedible. So I went to this place, having high hopes because it was right by work. When I walked in the front door, I was immediately thrown off by the prices. $17 for a quesadilla? At a hole-in-the-wall kinda place? I opted for a $16.50 chicken "super" burrito that ended up being basic Af, 6 inches long and skinny. What the hell. And to top it off, they don't even offer complementary chips! Something that WA state has got so very wrong. Super disappointed all around. Too expensive, small portions, basic taste. Not worth it at all.

Friday special: two chicken enchilada plate.

I have been here a few times for lunch as it is so close to where I work. Every time has been excellent. The service is quick and the food is so tasty. I usually have the enchilada plate and they always provide complimentary chips and Pico de Gallo. As long as they keep doing what they do I will keep coming here!

I love their carne asada fries, they are to die for! Their cheesy fries and refreshing pico de gallo makes a nice craving crusher when you have a hankering for them

The service was great--everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The menu is pretty extensive, especially when it comes to tacos, so there are plenty of options to choose from. I tried the asada, carnitas, birria, and adobada tacos. All were decent, with the birria being my favorite. The other meats weren't bad by any means, but they were a bit on the drier side compared to some other taco spots I've been to. The rice and beans were pretty standard--exactly what you'd expect, nothing particularly standout. One thing I really liked, though, was the self-serve salsa bar. It's always a plus being able to customize your flavors. One thing to note is that you do need to bus your own table, but considering the price and portion sizes, it feels fair and worth it. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal. I'll definitely be exploring more of this area of Renton--there seem to be a ton of authentic Mexican restaurants nearby. We went late at night, so options were a bit limited at the time, but this was a good find.

Shortly after, a very kind gentleman brought us waters along with chips and salsa, which was appreciated. The chips were pretty standard Mexican restaurant chips--not my favorite. They tasted slightly greasy, even though they didn't appear to be. The salsa had good flavor but was quite thin. Our waitress greeted us within a reasonable amount of time, took our drink order, and returned with our drinks to take our food order. Since it was our first visit, we tried a few different items. I ordered the steak fajitas, which were flavorful and came with a generous amount of onions and peppers, many with a nice char (which I loved). The steak was tender and well seasoned. I do wish they offered the option to mix multiple proteins. I also ordered a ground beef hard-shell taco on the side, and it was great--the shell didn't taste stale like you often find at many Mexican restaurants. My dining partner enjoyed his meal as well. The only downside was the manager or owner standing near the computer station by the entrance for much of our visit, frequently watching the dining room. Since we were one of the first few tables, it felt a bit uncomfortable at times, even though I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
