Stopped for lunch and tried a variety of different tacos. Lots of options! Pleasant ambiance inside. More upscale than expected from the location. the best I tried was the tandoori Taco. All four were dressed beautifully and solid size. Tasty chips and salsa. alcoholic options. We sat outside and 3 passersby asked us how the food was. What was missing was the staff engaging with customers. The main guy at the counter was reserved, capable, but wasn't reaching out to engage, check in. Someone nicely brought out the four tacos to us on one tray. But didn't ask if we needed anything else. So we needed to ask him for another plate. Would not recommend this place. I went in with my boyfriend and we order a burrito and chips and salsa. It took 25 minutes to come out. There were one other table in there that was waiting on food. The cashier was not pleasant and seemed begrudged to be there. My boyfriend was the only one actually get food and she knew this as I said I'm not getting anything. My boyfriend asked for chips and salsa and guac. Come to find out his meal came with all three. While I appreciate their passion and enthusiasm - this place needs a business lesson. The owners are not Latin (they're Indian). Their tortillas are basically from the Publix next door. This is not Mexican food. These are fake tacos. Everything was sweet or plain. The fish and chicken are basically from the frozen bag (not fresh or battered in kitchen). I have really, really mixed feelings reviewing this place. If you are vegan then it's worth a try as they have a lot of vegan options. However, I have been twice in the few months this place has been open and they have wildly gotten me and my friends orders wrong every time. The staff is super nice but clearly aren't trained in serving/ delivering food. This may just be a hiccup as this restaurant is new but even when my table all had their food, waiters would still come by with plates and ask if it was ours. Also, their 3 and 5 taco platters claim to come with chips and salsa on the menu but they will not bring it out unless you specifically ask after getting your food. This may be a server error bc they're new, like I said, but it's strange to me that they wouldn't follow their menu? Final thing, NONE of the food is spicy. It's all very very sweet.
