This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and we're hoping and praying that it's a better experience than the first time. the place was pretty laid back and not overly packed. I appreciated our server for checking on us and being aware of my hubby's dislike of his buffalo sandwich. He said that the flavor was good but the chicken was chewy. Our server informed the manger quickly. The sweet potato fries were great! My cheeseburger was good and well cooked. The Guac dip appetizer was disappointing. The presentation of the food was good, but it had no flavor to it and there was not a salt and pepper shaker on the table, so I used two of my lime slices from my water. Overall, we had a mixed experience and are willing to try again. Our best impression to taken away from this was that our server was attentive, the manager did come by before a sleeping and discussed the sandwich with us and was willing to listen; without making excuses. Friendly service, Beautiful dinning room, Almost non edible food. This review is based off three visits. Let's start with what you can order and enjoy. The Brussel sprouts. And the key lime pie. Brussel sprouts are wonderfully crispy. Seasoned and sweetened perfectly. The key lime pie is the quality that you would get at a small shop in the keys. Don't order the name. The street tacos will be a long section at the bottom. The Mac looks lovely. Served in a little skillet. Under seasoned and over cooked. No boneless wings - too much breading. Close to cold by the time they get to the table. Philly. - greasy and soggy Burger - just ok. Fresh ingredients. Fried eggs was served well done. (Not cool) Fries. - forgettable. Fried pickles. - people picked at them. (I don't like pickles) Chips - refried and greasy Salsa - suspect mass produced and from a jar. Guac - no seasoning Queso - meh. It's queso. I will go back again sometime. For a cold beer ( mostly IPAs on tap, I'll avoid those) and some Brussel sprouts. I'll even order something with grilled chicken. Just round out the entire menu try. End of regular review. Street tacos: Award for worse planned dish in all of Hiram. The tacos are served on packaged cold tortillas. (Warming them up would take minimal effort. Seconds on each side on a flat top or broiled or steamed) The meat: mere ounces. Less than 3 over 3 tacos. Chopped so much it nearly looks unrecognizable as meat. Dry. And there was a tang, sour, char taste for both chicken and beef. Picked onions: almost non given. We make these at home. The amount given here implied the world was going through an onion shortage. Went to this location late on a Thursday night. The bartenders Brooke and Kaylee were amazing! I told them the type of beer I like and they recommend 2 beers which were amazing! They were kind, knowledgeable and super helpful! Made me feel extremely welcomed. The food was prompt, delicious and exactly what I ordered. The manager Brady also came out and checked on us and was very personable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place because they made me feel important and were extremely friendly. I couldn't wait to try out this location as it is close to my house. I went in and was given a 45 minute wait time. They text you when your table is ready which is very convenient. I was able to go to another store while waiting. I arrived and was seated immediately after my time was up. My family and I sat outside. It took 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order so at that time we gave the waiter our drinks, appetizer and dinner order since we had waited so long. Our drinks came out. I ordered the mimosa. Unfortunately, there was no juice in it so I sent it back and ordered a pineapple ale, which was delicious. That took another 15 minutes to get. We ordered nachos as the appetizer and it was pretty tasty. We enjoyed it. For dinner, I ordered the lemon pepper wings wet and fried pickles. It was delicious. Especially the pickles with the sour cream ranch dip. My family enjoyed their food as well. The food was pretty good but the service was really slow. I believe they are short staffed so we didn't let it bother us. Our waiter was friendly and seemed to be doing the best he could. We will go back again. To start.. I used to work at Taco Mac (different location) for several years and no way this would have be allowed at the location I worked at. This place needs some attention... we won't be back. My 6 year old refused to use the bathroom because of how gross it was. Honestly no way those bathrooms have been cleaned since this placed opened a few years ago. Curious how this place is passing inspections actually. We had hair in our salsa. All of our food was cold-were the heat lamps out? Our server was kind and way more professional than the managers but did not refill our drinks and never came back to check how our food was-we had to go find her after about 15 minutes to let her know our food was cold and we were missing items. Granted she was being ran around like crazy while managers just casually hung out at the host stand talking then just slowly walking around and back to the host stand.. We tried kindly waving the manager over and he turned around and did a slow walk to the bar. At that point we realized we would be wasting our time trying to talk to them-they did not care about a thing. Saw training managers in there but honestly the current managers need training.. I had the wings and they were very tasty, but what made our visit exceptional was the service DeAndre provided. He greeted us with a smile, was very friendly and upbeat and promptly took our orders. The food and service were fine.....as usual. But .... The A/C was running so wide open it had to be 62-64 degrees and napkins were blowing off the tables and out of peoples laps. I just placed my first pick up order there not too long ago and the food was just as good as it is when dining in. We got there at around 5 on a Monday afternoon. I had the steak Philly cheese steak sun, which I have had twice and love ! My husband had a bacon cheese burger. My kids had the kids boneless wings & beef tacos. The manager was very friendly and made sure that we had what we needed. Great atmosphere here, if you like the sports bar style restaurant feel. It just so happens that I do enjoy some sports, and the Atlanta Braves baseball was playing on the big screens. I like the Atlanta Braves, so the atmosphere was great to me. We were told that the wait time was 45 minutes, but our wait time was well over an hour. I heard a customer complain that the wait time shouldn't be that long because there were plenty of tables available. There were a lot of empty tables, but I think they were short staffed. They used a texting system to let us know how many people were ahead of us, and to know when our table would be ready. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our server, Jonah, and he provided excellent service. We ordered Smoked Pulled Pork Sliders for an appetizer. Those were delicious with the soft buns, tender pulled pork, and coleslaw. Our entrées consisted of Steak Tacos, Train Wreck Nachos All the Way, and Chicken Tenders with Fries. Had an amazing time at this location. We had an excellent waiter!! He let us sample different beers. At this Hiram location, there are multiple shops and restaurants. Our waiter name was Alex. Alex took very good care of us. I ordered 10 traditional wings 5 lemon pepper, and 5 of their new spicy garlic. Ordered fries that was on point with the BLUE CHEESE dipping sauce!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I arrived to Taco Mac on a Sunday night, the place was disgusting. The floors were sticky, there were napkins, straw wrappers, and French fries, as well.(I attached pictures of one side of the restaurant). That was the first red flag. There was no greeter, all the servers were either at a table or just talking. Well I was seated by the manager, Julio, at a dirty ass table, and I refused to sit down until it was clean. The manager Julio cleaned it and did a half ass jobs and he had an attitude. Management is poor. If you do not like your job .. you should find a new one that is not in customer service (: . The food was disgusting .. which is not a surprise becase the restaurant was disgusting. I ordered burger and asked for the impossible patty ... the patty was dry, extremely over cooked, then the fries were cold and tasted like they were fried in old oil. It was inedible and I sent it back. Overall , I will not be returning to Taco Mac, not this location or any of their locations. Management needs to do be and do better, they should close this location and redo staffing because there is no reason why I had a terrible experience when this location is new ... read more

I'm not here to complain like most of the previous reviewers , because what I experienced is totally expected when a new spot opens . Firstly , it's a double edge sword when speaking about wearing mask . Let me say this I think the staff should have their mask on over their noses and mouths. It's a small protection for them . It's certainly not a cure all. Next, the patrons did not have on a mask , but I'm not sure how one is to eat with a mask on? ‍ Yeah! That's almost impossible unless you lift it up and that's exposing your face . The inside was very crowed. I ordered take out . The take out section is in a corner near the exit door . I was informed upon ordering , the wait is 45 minutes. I appreciated that. I simply stepped outside, enjoyed the fresh air and waited . My food was ready when I checked on it . The place was clean as to be expected. A few tables needed attended too, but I think overall the staff was running around doing their best in my opinion. During a pandemic it's hard to determine how busy a spot may be. It's nice to see it open because this area is in definite need for shopping and dining. When I got home with my food . It was still hot and very tasty! I ordered chicken quesadillas and a cranberry with apple salad. Yummy! I will say this I'll return when there's less people , so that I can enjoy the dining experience. It's still anew spot abs it will all work out . From the car, Taco Mac in Hiram is incredibly inviting with its outdoor patio and string lights. The dining room and enclosed patio have wall to wall TVs. This particular Saturday, Alabama and Tennessee were playing and it was packed with what appeared to be more Tennessee fans. Like most sports bars, there were plenty of high fives, beer, wings, and laughter. BTW, the Vols won! We sat outside on the patio and fortunately could still see the game. Upon walking outside, the hostess realized all the tables were nasty. She immediately cleaned it but it was even more obvious they were short staffed when she came back as the server. Our food came out at different times: oven baked lemon pepper and regular sweet heat wings along with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries. By the time we got our sides, we were done with our wings and had refilled our beverages. It didn't bother us because we understand what restaurants (service industry) are experiencing right now. I got some to go at the new Hiram location-the wings were good but the fries portion was skimpy! We were looking forward to trying this Taco Mac...Our usual location is the one off of Dallas Hwy in Marietta, which still stands as a great restaurant. But this location was disappointing. Our server was friendly and did check on us frequently, BUT my girlfriend tried some of the bone-in wings and got terrible food poisoning from them. We also received the wrong sides and were charged for extra sides that we had to request be removed from our check. This was my first time here- not bad actually. It's a casual kind of place to get a quick bite to eat. There wasn't anything spectacular about the food. Price wasn't bad. I am not sure if anyone has any high expectations of a Taco Mac. I will say that the back patio room was enclosed from the severe wind outside and it was nice- even equipped with five TVs for your viewing pleasure.
