OK so most of us love Taco Mac because they have amazing wings, fresh, juicy, white bone wings. Maybe it's because I've only done take out from the Hiram one, but their wings are terrible. I had to stop going there after I ordered 50 wings and everyone, myself included commented on how dried out they were. The bones were dark gray! The place itself is really nice. The beer selection is allot smaller than what it used to be (That's my opinion ) got the three style dip for appetizers and that was pretty good. Then I got fish and chips with tater tots instead of fries. The fish really sucked I'm not gonna lie. The tater tots were good the tarter sauce was garbage and the coleslaw was average at the very best. My wife got a burger and that was pretty good and my daughter got the chicken tenders. She said they suck and it looked like she was having a tug of war between her hand and her teeth. So I'm gonna believe her. The waiter was ok we had no issues out of him. I have been coming here since opening day and it's my favorite place to eat by far. I have no clue why there have been any negative reviews. People just love being negative instead of constructive. It's always been great from the service to the food and all the above. Maybe I'm just a happy person. The vibe in here is amazing. I have never once had a bad experience. Its horrible here. Others say its because they're new, I don't think so. The first time I came here the cashier taking the to-go orders was more concerned with flirting with a customer than doing her job. Waited several minutes for them to finish, meanwhile the phone is sitting unanswered (WONDERED WHY THEY DON'T PICK UP!). Then I ordered 20 wings, and she gave me 10 in the box. I SWEAR she gave my other 10 wings to the dude she was flirting with. They were also out of 1 of the sauces I wanted. Overall bad attitude and like she wasn't interested in doing her job. I contacted the manager and wanted a refund, but all they would do is give me a credit for the 10 wings. I didn't really want to go back. I went back at a later date, the manager was amazing and re-did the order. But, I wouldn't trust this place. If you hang out by the to-go counter waiting for your food you can see the waiters/waitresses playing around and flirting in the kitchen instead of working. Just makes sense that the food often comes out wrong, and everything is slow. Worst was, while I was waiting for my order, 1 of the waitresses went up and sat on the counter where they box the to-go orders. Not by the cash register, like, in the kitchen. Her butt was right there on the counter. Nasty. I called the health inspector for this! I was originally excited about having a Taco Mac here. Often times I work late and Taco Mac is one of the only places open. This is on my way home. But I might just keep going out of my way to Dallas Hwy instead. read more

The wife and I decided it was time to get out in the world (even though I'm not fully vaccinated yet), so to play it on the safe side we decided to go to the new location and get a table outside. As we walked through the establishment we said to each other "WOW!!! this place is gorgeous" You walk in and all you see is wall-to-wall TV's, and there's plenty of room to walk around so you don't feel to cramped. We got a table outside under an umbrella and we were greeted by our server (Brenda). She quickly got our drink orders (water and a Brunch on Monday) and had them back at our table quickly. Then we ordered our food (Trio Dip, Apple, Pecan & Cranberry salad and a 10 piece wing w/fries). The food was excellent. If there is a complaint it would probably be that the wife felt that there should've been a little more simple syrup in the drink. Overall I would say 4 1/2 star visit. We look forward to returning again....once I'm fully vaccinated. Thank you!! read more

My wife and I went to the new Taco Mac in Hiram for an early dinner on a nice Saturday afternoon. Upon walking in we were impressed with the look of the restaurant. We were immediately informed that there was a 45 minute wait for tables. We have the hostess our name and phone number so that they could message us while we waited in our car. I corrected the host when he read back my phone number wrong. We called the restaurant after 30 minutes and were told that they could not give us an update on our wait and that they would text us about 10 minutes before a table would be ready. We never heard from anyone after an hour waiting. I decided to go inside to inquire. A different hostess looked and couldn't find our name. She finally found our name and informed me that they had texted us 40minutes earlier. I informed her that we never got a text message at which point she started to argue with me starting that she was sure that they sent it. I asked her to verify the phone number. She read back the incorrect phone number that I had corrected when we arrived. I was then told that they would seat us in a few minutes. I asked for the manager and explained how I had corrected the server, asked about our wait from the car and was now told that it would be a few more minutes. He apologized and immediately seated us. After being seated, the hostess apologized for the mixup. It took 10 minutes for our sever to come to our table as there was confusion as to whose section we were seated in. Luckily the food was good, but this was a very frustrating experience. I'm not sure if we will go back. The manager should have come and apologized for the multiple missteps. read more

The food is amazing, waiters/waitresses are very kind, service is great, but the food does take a while. If you are fine with a long wait, this place is fine. But if you want you food fairly quick, I wouldn't come here. The wings are amazing! Also, I love how there is a bowl of peppermints at the counter where you walk into the restaurant. The restaurant is a very clean place, but there can sometimes be a couple flies scattered here and there. Overall, this place is great. I would definitely recommend. read more

Sadly I have to report, Taco Mac in Hiram has disappointed again. We went there a month or so after they opened. They were busy and looked like they were doing well. We went to have a beer and relax. Bad news is they didn't have the beers we liked and the food was just so so. We went again last night (6/10/24). There was more employees than patrons. We ordered some beer and some wings. We were totally disappointed. The beer was great. The wings were awful. My first encounter with Taco Mac was the original store in Atlanta. It was in the mid 80s. Not sure of the exact date. It was my first time having wings. I was in heaven. The wings were amazing and the Blue Cheese dip was incredible. I'm not sure what happened between then and now, but they have gone way down hill. Seems like it was a busy night for them. I can count with one hand on how many times I've been to this store. First time, the food had been sitting there and the person attending us at that time was not aware which caused us to wait longer than we should have. I am giving Hiram Taco Mac 5 stars because they are clean, very pleasant, and get my order correct. I love their boneless chicken tossed with Asian heat and dry lemon pepper with a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken is cooked well and the sweet potato fries are so yummy and crispy. Just an awful experience, from the service to the food, to the restaurant cleanliness and bathrooms (out of toilet paper and paper towels too!) It was dirty and they were slow and then brought out food that was unfit to be eaten, the queso was clumpy the wings were cold, the fries looked as though they came from someone else's plate Just very disappointed. They've struggled forever with cook and wait staff shortages. So usually it's a long wait to get seated even when there's empty tables. Tonight was different. We were seated in about 5 minutes. But it was a full hour before we go our food. In the meantime we shivered while we waited because it was so cold at our table. Finally when the food came it was underwhelming. For a place that brags on their great wings, they were some of the smallest and saddest wings I've seen. It was a miserable experience - from the flat soda to the sad little wings. Had a going away luncheon and we waited about 2 hours to get any kind of food. That was with asking what's going on. All I ordered was a veggie Quesadilla. Not sure how the last person gets to our party and gets his food first. Needless to say, with all the apologies, it's clear as day this establishment needs training on customer service. When I inquired the cashier and another young lady went searching for it. Once brought to me it was obvious that someone just threw it together. Taco Mac is typically one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, this Taco Mac did not live up to those standards. My family and I sat in the waiting area for an hour, after being told it would be a 30-45 minute wait and watched as family's who were not on the list before us, who came in and sat before us when put on the list after us. The manager was also EXTREMELY rude and ran his employees horribly. He was not accommodating to simple questions and blew us off and treated us like lesser human beings then he was simply because he was the almighty manager of a taco mac. Love the food& beer. The management is a**!!! Waited an hour, watched multiple other families put their names on the list and get sat within 20-30 minutes. We finally left after we found that after an hour of waiting they stopped seating to let the kitchen "catch up" and still had 14 families in front of us. If you can't sit people, stop taking names, or at least tell customers a realistic time for waiting (a true 2 hour wait). The servers were just as fed up with the manager as we were. read more

First off or server Darrius was awesome! He was kind, courteous and very attentive. The food however was a different story. We started with an appetizer of fried pickles. The probably would have been great had they been served hot, instead of lukewarm and greasy. The wings were gross and once again the fries were at best like warm. The draft beer is overpriced. This was a terrible experience. The wait was a short 15 minutes. Ann was not very attentive to our table. After we ordered we waited 1 hour and 26 minutes for our food. While waiting I went to the restroom. Along the way I saw 3 servers just chit chatting; I.e. the restaurant was not busy, and a fourth one playing on his phone. The bathroom was a horrible mess. The sinks in the bathroom only dispenses cold water. Once I got back to the table and the food was finally served, my chicken sandwich was way over cooked and very dry. I saw no manager visiting any of the tables and with the way things were running he/she should have been talking to the customers to try and smooth things over. I might try this place in a few weeks to see if they can turn things around, but if they keep this up they will be closed in a few months. read more

Waited an hour to get in but once we did we were served quickly and the food was good! Had a delicious drink, hot wings, fries, and the atmosphere was great! Our server was also great too. Very attentive. I took off one star for the hostess. She was short with us and had an awful attitude despite making mistakes on her end (she seated us indoors when we asked to sit outside. And when we asked for a different table she gave an attitude to her fellow coworkers and told us that we would have to wait again for a table despite the fact that she literally just told us our table was ready and there were several open tables on the patio. We didn't want to sit indoors because it was PACKED. And no one had a mask on besides the waiters, servers, and the hostesses). We were told a 30 minute wait. After an hour we went inside to ask for an update and were told the kitchen was running behind so they were waiting to seat us. 75% of the tables were empty with servers sitting at tables rolling silverware. We said we didn't mind waiting for food we just needed a place to sit out of the heat. Server was very forgetful and we had to ask several times for condiments and refills. My grilled chicken sandwich arrived burnt and was too hard to bite into. When the it was replaced The person who brought it was defensive saying it was dark because of the marinade not because of the level of cooking. Second sandwich was much better. They have a lot of issues to work thru still and the kitchen really needs to get better. read more

Attempted to order 'online'. After putting everything in my cart I received a message that this location was not accepting online orders at this time. I called the location only to hear the automated system tell me to place orders online . I finally get an employee on the line and she takes my order... says it'll be ready in approximately 20-25 minutes...me:ok, great. I get there in about 30 minutes because hey.. it's Saturday.. I'm sure they're busy ‍ 30 minutes later.. I arrived only to find out that the employee who took my phone order never actually put in the order. She's 'gone' per the staff and it'll take another 20-25 minutes before my order is ready me: ok. I leave and come back 30 minutes later and my order is ready. Yay. While I received 'apologies'.. I wasnt offered a discount , free side, free drink .. nothing.. Whew! Will be a minute before I revisit. I hope they get it together. Oh and the food was actually good. We ordered TMI wings, Garlic Parmesan wings, Southern Fried Chicken sandwich with fries and a kids grilled cheese sandwich... wish I thought to take pics. read more
