Awesome place! The food was great. We got the hit and TMI wings and both were really good. Also got the sampler app and the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles were great. The beer selection is amazing! The atmosphere is great for sports lovers. Our waitress was phenomenal but the kitchen was slow but to be expected with it just opening this week. My experience at Taco Mac in Mcdonough was extremely disappointing today! The food was disgusting and the restaurant was filthy!

Sat at the bar. When I arrived the bar was half full and ALL the empty spots looked like an army of 5 yr olds just left. The bar staff was clueless and in no hurry to work. Ordered a small salad and grilled chicken tenders. The salad was below average and took 20 minutes to arrive. At 40 minutes the chicken tenders had not arrived. Decided to leave before they arrived. Really frustrating. Service was poor and the salad was not worth ordering again. First and last time at Taco Mac. read more

The table service was absolutely great. Only constructive criticism that I have is that they told us it was an hour wait. The wait was really 20 minutes for a seat. This could turn customers away But the food felt like it took an hour. By the time my food came I wasn't hungry. I was sleepy and ready to go home. I've never been impressed with Taco Mac (Stockbridge and Douglasville locations), but decided to give this new McDonough location a try. Oh my goodness...it's quickly becoming a new favorite for us. The Asian black garlic wings are fabulous and the beer...oh my, the beer!! So many options and such an emphasis on local breweries!! I've been twice in the last week to this new location. The food is not as good as the one in midtown, but it's still nice to have one here on the south side and not have to drive into the city. My first visit didn't go very well, there was an extremely long wait for the food, however the manager proactively discounted our ticket. The food was good. Wings were crispy and flavorful. I had a cobb salad which was excellent. My kids had cheeseburgers and quesadillas...they loved their meals. Hubby had chicken nachos which were super tasty. The beer of the month was great and I got a free glass to take home. Service was friendly but a little slow. Restaurant was very crowded as we waited 45 mins to be seated on a Thursday evening. I was in this place with my infant daughter in her stroller. Because they had to rearrange the restaurant for a larger group, I had my own waitress ask me if I want her to put my babies stroller outside. I had another waitress just come up to me and straight up ask "where do you want me to put this" ???????????? I literally couldn't eat my food because I had to leave. Might I add I ordered nachos. I received queso with meat. If you like beans then this is the meal for you, if not. Avoid it. Taco Mac, let's learn the difference between cheese bean dip and nachos. I literally got a bowl of melted cheese beans and meat and chips on the side. I wish I never paid for that to be honest. Since my baby and her stroller weren't welcome. Food was average.. it was so incredibly loud and busy. I will not be going back. The server was very sweet and it's not her fault it was so bustling but for someone like me with anxiety this place was a nightmare. Good if you're looking for more of a bar atmosphere and are with a group watching the game or something. My husband and I had a great experience. Mostly due to the service we received from our server Shelly. If you want great service ask for to seat in her section. She was awesome. Your tea glass or beer never goes empty. She was knowledgeable about the menu items and helped is choose. The food came out on a timely manner and it was hot and good. We had mozzarella sticks they were so good. The wings a variety of flavors and they were awesome. The Mexican corn side and baked mac and cheese were so good. My husband and I visited Taco Mac on yesterday and it was an awesome experience. This is a brand new location and the staff were wonderful. Special Kudos go out to Kelsey & George who were our servers (George was in training :) The wings (which were called "slow burn") were really good & spicy. I like my wings really hot so it takes something VERY hot to take me down. I asked that I be challenged next time. LOL. The corn dish (called "Street Corn") was good, but it was a very unique flavor so I couldn't get into that much. Overall, our experience was really great and we will return. Just finished my inaugural trip to Tac MAC and I must say I expecting more. However, less couldn't have been delivered in a greater package. My complaint isn't over the amount spent, rather the value lost in a very lackluster plate disguised as a meal. Had the fish tacos. The flour tortillas were doughy, the fish without seasoning and the sweet potato fries couldn't get a leg up even with honey. Bright spot was the sweet tea (hence the lone star). The food was good. Our service was slow. For an appetizer we enjoyed the queso. Our server got us a large, but more than half of it went to waste because she never bought more chips. I'm giving away better review, every time I go I just request for someone than I had last time, and it's been nothing but great service. My favorite thing to get is the cheese sticks as an appetizer, and then wings bone in with 3 mile honey sauce. It's AMAZING.
